Chibuchris:No wahala. You can connect with me on WhatsApp - 09086657230 I would also suggest trying to rally more subscribers to find out if it is true or not.. Lagos na waa!! |
Story story.. they have dropped the Oxford from their name and they are now Buildbay. The postponement & promises to schedule allocation have been endless. I'm only going to keep my fingers crossed but I'm currently doubtful. I would really like to post good news here - if it happens. They spent the late part of last year posting videos of allocations in places other than that which I chose, so it feels like the allotees were actors. Chibuchris: |
So far, I've been subscribed. It's to watch if they are honourable. Keeping my fingers crossed. |
Adaonu:Just asking.. have you solved your issue now? |
david5565:I now teach CNC building/manufacturing to students and tech workers. 3axis etc contact me if needed 08166165445 |
Adaonu:I think you need to change the stepper drive board to something more modern or upgrade your CNC driver software. You can chat me up on 08166165445 (WhatsApp) |
I won't lie... @brightsolar and @kiekie1 , you guys are just clogging the thread with the same super long info. It looks like a fight to keep your post on top. This is becoming spam. Tailor your messages please. After all these posts, non convinced me.. I still shopped at Alaba international and jumia/konga last week. Credibility and creativity are more likely to convert me to a buying customer. My piece of advice. Happy Independence Day. |
pragmatistm:I recently worked with ipower in my Solar installation. Seems Okay. Time will tell though. Go for something with a documented warranty on service and keep the warranty. Also learn to treat your batteries right for a long service life. |

*3D printer (you don’t have to have it but it’s really helpful, especially if you want to build transmitter on your own)* I can design and 3d print your parts if you need my services. Location --> Lagos. Call 08166165445 for business |
Hi, where can I get 50kg bags of silica gel? |
I don't hold your future in my hands. I also don't know how the skills you will garner will better you or whether they will be relevant in life at all. At this stage, you make your decision. Whether N15k is worth it, I cant tell. But since you're worried about cost vs benefit, and i presume its only JAVA you're learning, and the institution is not very popular, maybe it would profit you to stay put in Benue, put the transport money into data, programs and online training for the same JAVA knowledge. I wish you well. |
One thing that happens alot is the "one time opportunity". You should weigh the benefits and if they are worth the trip, do it now. After service, you may be so busy you'll never do the course again or the program may not hold or admit you. But of course, weight the benefits.. And do take a proper leave of absence to travel from your AI. Best of Luck. |
It's unlikely. Most of the things that should be used to adulterate the said petrol are either more expensive than petrol or more corrosive to the engine components. Adulteration can occur but I would rather suspect the aging generator, dirty air filters, build-up of carbon on the pistons or faulty valve setting. On the load side, I would think you've added some more appliances to the usual load which in turn has a corresponding increase in fuel consumption. Check these and confirm the culprit. Good luck |
Cutefine02:In essence, despite the high cost of solar panels and batteries, you're still going to use them?? Then why bother with all the extra construction and connection? |

What you are aiming to build is called a perpetual motion machine. And this model currently doesn't permit it. While I do not give up on the thought of stumbling into free energy someday, your concept is greatly flawed. See reasons below: 1. The essence of the PRIME MOVER (engine or DC motor as you intend) is to convert the potential energy in (fuel or the battery in your case) to rotary motion which will then drive the alternator. In practice this prime movers power rating is GREATER than the output power you desire so as to compensate for friction, inertia and energy losses as heat in the wires. What this means is you will lose a significant portion of your input energy in the initial stage of driving. 2. There will be friction and energy losses also in the alternator. Your appliances will also consume some or most of the energy which you have generated. 3. The usual narrative is to connect a feedback wiring to charge the battery again. But in essence you are putting back from what you have left not a whole new energy source. The conversion to charge the battery is also fraught with energy losses. When you start this your proposed system, it may seem like it is working initially but You will use up the power in your battery before long and not be able to replenish it without adding energy from outside. This principle I tried to explain is called the LAW OF CONSERVATION OF ENERGY. If you need constant power immediately, I advise you sacrifice and get solar/wind power first. I also advise you experiment small, with tiny DC motors (the type we called propeller). Dont spend much to learn how this would fail except you've got the money to throw away. But If you absolutely want to keep trying for free energy, think of natural, free and abundant energy sources such as light, heat, soil/organic matter, earths magnetism etc. Now figure ways to harness them for your benefit. Good luck in your search. PS: I work with BuildTact - www.BuildTact.com - we build machines to ease problems - 08166165445 |
Sorry this is coming late but Yes, there are a couple of 3d printing companies in Lagos. I own a printer and operate freelance 3d printing services, prototyping and CNC machine construction. Interested? 08166165445 #Still putting structure together CompanyWise# |
Jean2:Nice Attempt. Especially as you've crossed the "want to do it stage" to the "done it stage". As time passes, you should work with a laser printer, magazine(or toner transfer) paper, and circuit design software such as EagleCAD to neaten your work and improve efficiency. Kudos |
Light bulbs -Incandescents can be resmelted for glass and aluminium or iron. I'm not sure about the epoxy but I've seen it being collected. -CCFL(EnergySavers) can be restored, disassembled for components, aluminium and plastics Used Oil Can be modified and used as Diesel fuel, Refined and reused (albeit with a health caveat), refined and converted to soap, refined and blended with other oils for cream, used as lamp fuel or fire starters Batteries Resell for scrap value, burn properly for disposal, collect pastes and make new batteries. I contacted Thunder Force and he said they ha relocated closing by to somewhere called Arena Market, Bolade Oshodi - Shop EG 211 |
@Savotech.. Thanks so much for your help. God bless you |
Hi House, Please does anyone have Thunder Force's (Electronic Components Seller) phone number at Oshodi? Would greatly appreciate it forwarded. Thanks, Dave |
