I concur....AIT went too far with his Pre election activities, told a lot of pals that dokpesi wld pay for this spomeway after election. The foolish act to combining business with politics. What you wld never see the likes of Dangote and Adenuga do. Ok starting with me......i own a viewing center and a sport betting shop , which i am an agent to a bookmaker, merrybet to be precise. A business i opened with my entire savings after graduating from school and savings during and after my NYSC services. At a point i could not continue with the viewin center because my monthly gains wasnt enuf to pay for Dstv subscription fee not talking of the shop rent, phcn bills, petrol for gen and salary for the guy i employed there as the operator MY CHALLENGES My first challenge was gettin customers because of the high competition of the business location, had abt 4 other diff viewing centers around. Which i cld not fantom ow dey all manage to survive because d dstv subscription was way too much. Secon challenge is d issue of electricity d bet shop requires 24/7 electricity for ur computer nd printer to stay on. Nd wit d epilepsy power supply all gains and profit goes back to buyin fuel all week... I spend N2500 weekly on fuel alone dats if i manage wit d fuel very well nd if i do not it always more than dat. The most annoyin part pf ds is some week i cld make a sale of 71k nd some dudes winnin cld b 30k in 3 places making 90k...ds d company expect u to settle deir bill wen u ar on a minus in dat week. Many of ds bookmaker dont want to know ow ur survive in business, dey wld tell u dey make d same loss weneva u make a loss.. In summary all i wld say is business in so challenging Anyone with any usefull advice or help,i wld be grateful.......or u need further details or help from me, wld be glad to help Odas share your own business nd challenges |
