GAZZUZZ:
2 possible causes.

1. Excessive carbon buildup in a very hot engine

2. Fans wired directly to ignition.

Thanks will get this checked in 2 days. I actually got a fan fixed and the rewire said he was putting one on relay and the other directly incase d relay fails. However I never thought this could be a reason as he did not touch the engine. Will check this and get back. Thanks for the tips.

Dear guys,

When I turn off ignition in my toyota camry 1996, the engine still runs for like 2 secs and the exhausts still bring out gases like twice, shakes a little and turn off. This just started suddenly without anyone working on the car.

No bro, no electrical work was done. I actually drove and parked. Later when I wanted to leave for home, the issue started. I do not even know which fuse or relay works for this issue. But thinking of taking it to professionals to check.

GAZZUZZ:
Fuses do not burn on their own, they have specific current ratings and once exceeded the fuse cuts.

This is a cause and effect situation.

Find the cause, replace the fuse (do not join it with a wire) and all will be well.


Possible instances that could cause the brake lamp/inhibitor fuse to burn/ not work include.

* harness damage to rear lighting
* Shorting bulbs (very unlikely)
* wrong brake lamp bulbs installed.
* Village people
* shorting inhibitor switch (location is inside.
gear lever)
* wrong rating of installed fuses (if recent.
work was done)
* more village people
* partial contact on fuse (very likely)
* faulty brake switch (base of brake pedal)

The engine oil indicator is a big concern to me. I saw it and then serviced my car engine and even changed the filter, but the indicator is still on.

Let your mechanic check your oil pump better still, replace it. A friend of mine had a similar issue and his useless mechanic told him no problem until his engine knocked and he replaced for 160k. Let a rewire check also if there is a wiring issue which is less likely. Good luck.

This is not oil and not water. If I can clean the compressor body, I see the stain again if I use ac
If it is water it should dry up due to heat and if one it should produce some smell also.

Hi all,

I can see liquid leaks on my compressor I don't have an idea where it all came from. All bolts were properly tightened. Car model is Toyota Camry 1996.

Does it mean gas is leaking and I need to refill often? Useful advise will be appreciated.

pls enlighten me, y compressor is hot even withut using ac. I just installed ac for te first time in the history of my car. is this normal or there is a wrong connection in the ac. My car is toyota camry 1996. Does it use automatic or manual compressor and is it possible to identify which is automatic or manual while taking a physical look?

Thanks all.@CoolSegun2002 I will look at the option of engine mounting. @Mementoes I just changed the tps sensor as the rpm was not exceeding 2000 in all gears. I will also try the throttle body cleaning.
