Your talk of charity and philanthropy is quite funny. The same church or religion as you put it, is the single and most effective form of charity in this world. This same church you are busy bad mouthing, you actually don't know much about their charity works. Standing on the street is the patterns too many people use and no one really responds positively to that except on rare occasions. anyways you will always be entitled to your own opinion

Typical entitlement mentality of Nigerians and the gullible hoard will jump on the story to share their hate. Thousands have been sponsored by the church to school at different levels without them knowing the Bishop personally. The Church has a system that identifies its members and provides different forms of assistance to the needy among them. A lot of time many strangers show up claiming heaven and earth just so they can get aid, while those who are serving in the church are denied this same support. So the church uses its Home fellowship to identify those who are truly in need. The house fellowship is usually made up of neighbors who live close by who can verify claims of need and confirm to the church authorities who have the capacity to help. In many cases help may even come from other members of that local house fellowship or from service units even before it gets to the main church authority. Standing on the road to see the Bishop to ask for help will not work, countless people use such means too. It is different when the church itself goes for outreach in a community where everyone they encounter who have a need is helped.

I see why you decided to be foolish and respond out of ignorance. Since you work for Japaul who has Chinese partners, you are suddenly blind to the truth. Have some courage to always say the truth. My only error (which i apologize for) is making my statement look generalized. There are some Chinese companies who operate legally, while there are many more who operate illegally especially within areas with high insecurity.
For your information, i have consulted for Japaul (directly and indirectly) on several sites in Nigeria (Ilesha and Benue/Taraba). Please learn to respond with your facts not sentiments. Try getting a censors of businesses and communities who have had dealings with Chinese companies and i can assure you that more than 70% will tell you horror stories. The only way to work for or with a Chinese companies is to ensure that all your angles of business are covered and their role is clearly spelt out so they don't have freedom to do as they wish, else they are sure to turn fraudulent.

The same government that owes China lots of money, same government officials who pocket millions of dollars. Unfortunately, our government can't do much. Besides, it's important to balance this narrative. Not all Chinese companies are fraudulent, but there are a lot who engage fully in fraudulent operations that jeopardizes the safety of Nigerians as a whole

In this case, there is no assumption. Mining is my field and i can tell you that only Chinese companies can operate in some areas where all others, even Nigerians can't operate because they settle the bandits with heavy amounts and they mine freely, and many more atrocities that they commit with the help of some Nigerians in their ranks

It's a well structured system where women who can't or don't want to carry there babies in their bodies are housed for the period of their pregnancy, simple! It is perfectly legal by the way. Some of these women don't agree to stay at the combined residence, they may choose a more private residence

So over the years, i have built skill, knowledge, experience and network. I would volunteer for peoples projects, so i can gain knowledge and experience. I would take peanut pay to get to learn what was mere theory in school. My former boss for many years never bordered to pay my salary for years, he would only pay me daily allowance when i worked on site outside town till i eventually left and started to consult in my field. By that time i had good industry links, a good name people wanted to do business with and relevant experience needed by many investors. in 2020 i registered my company paid my tax and prayed hard and i tell you no lie, i have not seen anything that resembles hardship in Nigeria despite the hard times. No matter how hard the nation is, some people are in positions to always benefit no matter who is in power. I hope this answers your question?

The truth is that, things can't get better in this country until we take the pain to make hard changes and rebuild or build a functioning system. My business has boomed over the years not because I know people. In fact I don't even know a single person who has strong link to the previous or the present government,but because I developed my skill over the years and have worked with integrity, I have found favour and good fortune in my line of work. There are thousands of people who are just as skilled or even more skilled than IAM, yet plenty are hungry.

No matter the government in power and their policies. There will always be people who will be hungry and experience hard times.

The government of the day has been average in my opinion. While they have made some decisions in the right direction, they are also repeating old mistakes in other areas. Unfortunately, the political class will continue to recycle themselves all with the aim of securing their own interest
