Hence, the reason why we stated, "Hopefully, with much support and patronage, the prize will be increased". It's better to err on the side of caution. We won't promise N100k and then cancel it because of lack of funds. We are promising what we can handle at the moment.

Hi.

We're planning a periodical contest for nigerian poets which will either come up monthly or weekly (open for discussion). Either a weekly contest for a prize of N10,000 or a monthly contest for a prize of N30,000. Hopefully, with much support and patronage, the prize will be increased

It will be broadcast online via a dedicated Youtube Channel and facebook page too. It's going to be on an animated platform with audio recordings of participants played, with their details and picture displayed. The winner will be determined through sms voting from the public.

These are the plans for now. A Youtube Channel and Facebook page will be opened soon for interested participants and partners too identify with. Contributions and suggestions are highly welcome. Below is an example of the form it will take.
