First of all, I speak from my own limited experience and perspective, and there are many times I have been right about the market and ended up losing trades or money in the end. there are also times that I didn't know what was going on or I wasn't sure about what was going to happen in the market but still had a profitable trade. the point I'm trying to make is that we can't always know what will happen in the future or in the markets with utmost certainty but either right or wrong we can always manage our risk appropriately, hence why I advocate for being adaptive with your analysis

I guess a better rendition of what I meant to say is that being right doesn't put money into ones account if you don't manage your risk appropriately. maybe you may agree with me on that sir...

To be honest mates, being right or wrong doesn't really matter, what matters is that one should always be adaptive in cases where your analysis turns out to be wrong. We are always trying to do the impossible in this market every day when we analyse our charts and that is predicting the future. being adaptive does help a lot in changing market conditions. whether gold's gaps up or not, I'm definitely going to be adaptive, if it fails to go up, then I'll accept I'm wrong and then follow it down to the next support zone which is 2320. cheers

I beg no dey leave your trades over weekend if you are not a whale or shark or heavy investor. you way still dey struggle hard as a day trader, you wan trade gap or weekend sentiments? Na from experience college i dey advise so. Gap trading will ruin your account fast if care not taken. Why not wait for market to wake up to realities and study where to go first before entries? Brokers never give you spread of 120 pips or more before as the market resumes, and wipe your stops immediately? and they wont take the responsibilities? unless na demo you dey trade, its not advisable.
There will be lots of opportunities this coming week as we expect instabilities in the market due to war and rumors of wars.

I understand your point of view but do you know that the fundamentals that really affect commodities market are different from the crypto markets and don't forget that the commodities market is one of the oldest market in the world, they've been existing ever since b4 the creation of cryptocurrencies. things like supply and demand and geopolitics really does affect this market. ah don't know about crypto because they haven't been around for that long

As it stands tension in the middle east has escalated, but the biggest fear is, will it turn to a world war because US is already involved in this conflict. I wonder if china and Russia would stay neutral and let the conflict die a natural death. pls I'm not a harbinger of doom neither am I peddling conspiracy theories, I'm just airing out my opinions, do take it with a pinch of salt....

It's all due to geopolitical tensions in the middle east which looks like it's about to spiral into a much bigger conflict and the US is likely to be involved in the conflict. because of that crude oil has been rallying steadily due to fears of oil supply cut should Israel and Iran go to war as the strait of Hormuz which borders Iran is an international shipping route from Asia into Europe and america. War in that region will disrupt oil supply which will definitely make oil to rally in price, this also feeds into the demand for gold as a safe haven during a crisis. As it's stand currently, Israel is expecting an attack from Iran which the US also confirms the threat. that's why I think gold might gap up at market open on Sunday. but I may be wrong though if the tension dies down, gold will definitely continue it's correction downwards...
