I'm grateful to God almighty for surviving this wicked week,

Today was another brutal day for me but once again risk management saved my life with bruises

Fear and FOMO dealt with me badly

Lost all my profits yesterday which had recovered my earlier losses at the start of the week and still lost a little bit more of my account

This morning at Asian close I bought silver at around 80.60 and it hit my stoploss, lost $30, I hate London opens because of liquidity hunt but I still bought silver again by 10am and held it until a few minutes to NFP, then I got afraid and begin to think negative, what if NFP moves against me so I closed the trade with like $20 profit which recovered more than half of the earlier loss. Then NFP was released and market pumped hard, I nearly faint and I felt my emotions rising and getting unstable like a pressured tank about to burst, but I willed myself to shot down my emotions and look at the chart logically, I saw that the buy was still valid nfp actually gave it some extra boost, so I waited 5 more minutes just so that I dont violate news rule, I never joke with that rule, and then I long gold at 4725, silver looked like it was pumping and about to exploded and it was taking all my will to hold myself, I set a buy limit at 81 and after like 15mins it looked like price was going to leave me so I longed silver at 81.20. and after checking it by 2.30 pm the buy limit at 81 was triggered as well and I had 3 running positions all in profit, gold moved up 200 pips from entry so I secured my stop at BE removing my risk, I only had risk on my running silver trades but both were doing fine for a while I was so happy that at last the week was going to end on a positive note.

THE DEVIL CAME LIKE A MIGHTY WHIRLWIND

by 3pm I don't know what fuckin happened but gold was stopped out at BE by one big red candle from nowhere, I checked silver and I was seeing the same nasty big red candle, all my profits vanished and I was looking at my losses building up slowly, I was like Bleep what am I gonna do, I tried to calm down and do a top down from the daily and 4h chart, boy they were not looking bullish anymore and my spider senses were already screaming, cut that morafuckin traaaaaaaaade. So I did that and I ended up with another $40 loss after closing the silver trade. I said that's it, I'm done for the week but I decided to find out what heck happened, everything seemed to be fine until it was no longer fine, and when I checked, it was the same modafuckin culprits as always.

Honestly I don't know if I understand English anymore because it seems to me that the meaning of ceasefire seems to be eroded, turns out US and Iran were in some gbas gbos, they exchanged some fire and that seemed to have moved the market for a few moments. And then the evil spirit whispered to me, you know today's Friday and this pipu have resumed fighting and the market is currently reacting to it, why don't you short gold and silver just in case Iran refused to cooperate with the US, atleast you can just make up for 2day's loss, and the chart looked seductively good, I could literally hear her whisper to me, come down to me papi, won't you wanna go down on me papi and just as eve succumbed to the temptation and also the attractiveness of the apple, so I felled. I shorted gold at 4718, silver at 81.20 within a few moments of opening my trades, the market begun to dump downwards, I was like hell yeah, there's hope for me today, and then out of greed I added one more short on silver at 81 again, and everything seemed to be going well. I was like there's still hope sha, it ain't over until it's over, atleast by 9pm whatever profit I have on the table Imma take that by 9pm and not allow myself to be greedy by holding it over the weekend, yeah it does make sense just like the way obajoey used to do, you know following the footsteps of those who know road, if you know what I mean 🤣.

And so I closed the charts with my trades running in profits and went to church for a meeting, after sharing grace and about to get back home I said lemme check how much running profit I have and on opening the charts, I received a shocker to my heart, "(mumu me, you think you are wise)" omo gold smashed stoploss, silver short at 81 hit stoploss, while the first short was running in red, with the speed of flash I closed that one with my own hand before it could do any further damage, and luckily I closed it at near break even, so I lost $20 on gold and $30 on silver
In total 2day my loss was a hundred dollars. But seeing my account still alive was more than consoling to me, I just felt drained and emotion less, I couldn't be angry because I just felt tired honestly. Although I fault myself for not staying away from the market when I needed to.

Las las 2day turned out to be a I buy e sell kind of day ....

My biggest advice to you is to focus on FTMO from now on so you can experience a guaranteed breakthrough without any headaches.

Ever since I got funded on my ftmo 10k challenge last month, I've been battling with drawdown and unable to secure my first payout on the account meanwhile I have successfully secured 2 payout with a different prop firm of the same account size. But seeing your success story, babami you sparked a fire in me like never b4. By god's grace I will get out of my drawdown and I am going to aim for 4% profit target per month, so that I can meet prime status requirements after 4 withdrawals, I don't mind how long it may take me, even if I can hit the 4% target b4 withdrawal in 2month sef, I am okay. So help me God.

I was supposed to share this good news in the morning but I had a flat battery, this delayed it until now.

With joy in my heart, I am here to announce that I have passed my ThinkCapital challenge and I have also passed my ftmo challenge, both accounts are underning review at the moment. Also my cent account is currently sitting at $15

I want to use this medium to appreciate Daddy @infofirst, sir I am forever grateful to you for what you have done for me, I don't know how I can repay your kindness but I pray with all sincerity in my heart that God almighty continue to bless you and may you never reap evil as a return to whomever you have extended a helping hand. The title of my testimony is; "How one mistake made me rich"

Starting from the beginning of the week I was dead broke, hmm Omo e didn't easy for me, and I was busy making money anyhow on my demo account, I started a demo account of $500 and within a week I flipped it to $1k, as if it wasn't enough by the time we entered into the week proper the account had grew up to $1700 but all demo profits. I was disturbed and pained that how comes I seem to be doing so well on demo but when I go live I'll be messing up and blowing my account left right up and down, the thing pain me and I was so tired and frustrated

So I came here to cry and languish on my ordeal and then the voice of wisdom spoke to me through his oracles; Alireza and @kaeachiever. They both encouraged me to make up my mind and completely for go demo trading. It must be live trading hence forth on a cent account which is better than demo trading.

Since the year began, I had not funded my cent account because I blew my account in December due to detty December mania I had then. I only had 0.30 cents as my account balance which is a fraction of a cent. And I decided to check on my broker dashboards how much they've released from my $237 bonus that I could withdraw into my cent account. Lo and behold, 13 cents was only available for withdrawal this month, ah just withdrew without the intention of trading it sef becos I found it to be too small for a trade.

Then the mistake happened, on Wednesday night / Thursday morning during the Asian session, I was trading and I made a call here that I see BTC dropping to 68k but I'll tp at 69k, after dropping the post, i went on to take the trade, I forgot that I was still on my cent account and not on my prop account, that is how I press BTC sell of 0.05 lot, it was after I had press the button that I realized my mistake, I wanted to immediately close it but I felt compelled to let fate take it's course. That was how this trade moved in my favor and dropped almost 200 pips, I was so excited that I didn't even wait for it to reach my tp, I jumped out 70k because I entered at 72k, after closing the trade I made 87 cents on it. So I calmed down and decided to be very selective of my trade and on Friday morning I traded only gold and still shorted BTC again, and I ended up flipping my account to over 500 cents which is $5. I couldn't believe my luck how 13 cents just made me unbroke. Although to be frank, I know that if it were on a different scenario, that simple mistake could have cost me or deal a serious blow to me and I am not ignorant of that fact. I intend to be more careful and meticulous henceforth and I also want to preserve my account till the end of year without blowing it up. This is my ultimate challenge for the year 2026 and I'll keep you guys posted as always.

I leave with this quote and encouragement to someone here who maybe struggling as well; there's this quote that says the setup that makes you $10 today can make you millions tomorrow, just keep trading it. I am happy to say that this quote is very true because I have now experience it first hand

To be candid I was quite angry with myself on this trade because prior to me taking the trade I had knew before hand that at 214 the MoF was likely to intervene at that level.

How I came to the analysis was that, reports have been coming out on a likely intervention on the yen and that the MoF was watching the 160 level on UJ.

Seeing that, I decided to find out what the equivalent level of 160 on UJ is on GJ, and I found that to get the equivalent level, you have to multiply 160 by the current exchange rate of GU.

GU was trading around 1.34 last week, so 160 × 1.34 = 214. Which I stated as my profit target on GJ.

What happened then? Well greed happened, I saw price hit my target yesterday and I completely forgot about the intervention, I was so fixated on the daily chart and I say why don't I let it run a little bit more, you know let winners run eh, as they say, but what happens next?

Boom I eat a missile to my face and a middle finger from the MoF. And all I could just say is why the heck didn't I close the freaking trade. 😤😤😤
