Education4 Ways To Be 10x More Productive In 2022 by davniffy(op): 11:33pm On Dec 23, 2021
Take 3 mins of your time to read this piece, I believe you will have value for your time. It is important you get it right as you move into the new year. Please read to the END!!!

Let’s GO!!!!!!

Being highly productive is a core skill for professional success. It’s what separates the high-performers from the low-performers.

Most people, however, struggle with productivity. For most, it seems like the to-do list never ends, distractions never stop, and there aren’t enough hours in the day to get everything done. Fortunately, becoming highly effective doesn’t have to be rocket science.

Let’s dive into four ways to be 10x more productive.

#1: Stop Doing ‘Busywork’

Most people are very busy, but not truly productive. They spend way too much time on ‘busywork’ activities and too little time on tasks that truly move the needle.

It’s like running in circles. You’re very active and busy, but you’re getting nowhere.

The best thing you can do to massively upgrade your productivity is to eliminate, delegate, or outsource the tasks that don’t significantly contribute to your goals as much as you can.

This way, you save valuable resources — time, energy, and attention — that can be dedicated to the tasks and projects that significantly move the needle towards your goals instead. In reality, only a few tasks truly matter.

According to the 80/20 rule, about 20% of your tasks cause 80% of the desired results. They create the most value and lead to the most meaningful results.

The remaining 80% of tasks only contribute to 20% of results. This is what we call ‘busywork.’ (Obviously, the 80/20 rule is not always set in stone. The ratio can also be 70/30 or even 90/10. The key takeaway is that a minority of input causes a majority of output.

To make 2022 your most successful year, it’s essential you focus much more of your resources……… on your most important tasks and much less on the ‘busywork’ activities.

This may sound obvious — and we all intuitively know it — but you’d be surprised how easy it is to get distracted by ‘busywork’ when you’ve never clearly identified which tasks are mission-critical and which ones aren’t.

Therefore, make a list of your 1–5 most important tasks and of your most time-consuming, energy-draining ‘busywork’ activities.

By dedicating the majority of your time, energy, and attention to these mission-critical tasks (instead of on ‘busywork’), you’ll make faster progress and gain more meaningful results than you’ve ever thought possible.

#2: Work With Laser-Focus

It’s those who can focus deeply on their most important work — without getting distracted every few minutes — who get it done fast and of high quality.

In fact, they are the ones who get ahead in work and life. “The sun’s rays do not burn until brought to a focus.” — Alexander Graham Bell Distractions are enemy number one of our focus.

Especially distractions in the form of smartphones, social media, email and news websites, but also distractions such as inner chatter or interruption from colleagues.

The problem is that, more often than not, these kinds of distractions are a lot more enjoyable, stimulating, and exciting than the task that we should be working on.

They’re also more easily accessible than ever before. This is precisely why most people have trouble resisting distractions. It’s human nature to look for the easiest and fastest way to be stimulated the most.

We’re wired to seek the path of least resistance. However, it’s hurting your performance as it decreases your productivity.

If you want to get real results in 2022, you need to resist the temptation of distractions. Especially when working on your most important tasks, you need to remove all possible distractions from your environment.

You need to go into ‘deep work’ mode, as author Cal Newport puts it. This is the most productive state where you create your best work.

When you work for at least two hours on an important task with your undivided attention — when nothing is distracting you — magic happens.

When you focus your mind on one task for a while, it’s capable of amazing things.

Unfortunately, in our distracted society nowadays, most people have never experienced what their minds are capable of when they direct it towards one thing for an extended amount of time.

Therefore, for the new year, incorporate a 2-hour deep work session every workday, in which you work on one highly important task without any form of distraction.

I can guarantee it’ll transform your productivity.

#3: Invest More In Yourself

You can try any productivity hack in the world, but nothing will match the results gained from investing in yourself.

The better you become, the easier it will be to get more meaningful results.

You are your greatest asset. “By far the best investment you can make is in yourself” — Warren Buffett.

By gaining more knowledge, developing high-value skills, …….. and investing in your health & energy, you’ll become a person capable of doing extraordinary work.

Not only will you be able to execute your tasks and finish your projects more efficiently, but it’ll be of much higher quality as well. All in all, when you invest in yourself, you’ll be able to get better results in less time — which, in my eyes, is the definition of productivity.

#4: Follow A System To Achieve Your Goals

A lot of people have goals, but only a few have a system that gets them towards those goals.

Yet, it’s the system that leads to success. It helps you make consistent, daily progress towards your goals. As Pablo Picasso said, “Our goals can only be reached through a vehicle of a plan, …….. in which we must fervently believe, and upon which we must vigorously act. There is no other route to success.’’

The problem with not following a system is that you’re prone to engage more in ‘busywork’ because there’s no focus.

The long-term goal is too intimidating, and it’s unclear what best next actions to take. Therefore, most people procrastinate or get distracted by other ideas, projects, or lesser important goals.

By following a system, however, you have the ultimate clarity on what needs to happen now — today — to make focused progress towards your long-term goals.

This focus will make you incredibly productive.

Personally, I follow a system that chunks my big and ambitious goals into much smaller ‘checkpoints.

This way, I no longer get intimidated or overwhelmed by the size of my goals. Furthermore, I have the ultimate clarity of what needs to happen today or this week to get closer to my goals.

I’ve experienced this to be a game-changer for my productivity and success. As Don Lancaster said: “Most impossible goals can be met simply by breaking them down into bite-size chunks, writing them down, believing them and going full speed ahead as if they were routine.

What I recommend you to do is break your big goals down into the following checkpoints:

Quarterly goals, Monthly goals, Weekly goals and Daily goals Instead of being intimidated by the ‘size of the mountain,’ all you have to do is make it to the next ‘checkpoint’ and take the next step.

You only need to focus on maximizing the day, as it sets a chain-reaction in motion — a domino effect — as your daily actions are fully aligned with your long-term goals.

As Brian P. Moran said: “To be truly effective, your daily activity must align with your long-term vision, strategies, and tactics.”

Now Do It Knowing is not enough for real change — you must take action upon what you know.
Therefore, as an action point for this article, implement one of these tips in your life right now.

RomanceYou'll Never Be Good Enough For The WRONG Person❗ by davniffy(op): 10:59pm On Dec 11, 2021
You will never be good enough for the wrong person, so you need to just walk away. Listen, I deal with so many situations. I talk to so many people where they’re trying so hard to make this individual love them.

They’re trying so hard to make this relationship work, and the reality is that you don’t belong in that relationship. You’re dealing with the wrong person.

This is an individual that you don’t have a connection with and love is not truly the driving force in this relationship. Your efforts aren’t going to get you anywhere other than leading you to more damage, disappointment, and headache.

You have to understand when you are trying to make it work with someone who is not trying to work with you. Someone who belongs in your life neither, do you belong in theirs.

There’s nothing wrong with that.

It happens. I don’t want you to beat yourself up and I don’t want you to hold on to that relationship. Because you’ve already invested so much time and energy into it.

You’ve got to just be honest with yourself and realize nothing is going to make this better because they’re simply the wrong person.

Their unwillingness to embrace your efforts and to embrace the value that you’re bringing to the table isn’t because you don’t possess that value.

It’s because they are not equipped to see it. They are not equipped to nurture and embrace it. That’s not their role in your life because they don’t belong in your life, so no more fighting, no more trying so hard, no more beating yourself up over why this isn’t working? No. Just accept and understand that when it’s the wrong person, you will never be good enough.

That’s okay, so walk away so that you can be received by the person who is truly best for you.
HealthThe Science Is In: Exercise Isn’t The Best Way To Lose Weight by davniffy(op): 9:54pm On Dec 11, 2021
We have this idea that if we want to lose weight, we join a gym on January 1st, we start working out regularly, and eventually, we’ll slim down. Well, here’s some bad news.

I read more than sixty studies on this, and it turns out exercise is actually pretty useless when it comes to weight loss. Dr. Kevin Hall at the National Institutes of Health has done some of the most important studies on exercise and weight loss.

We need to rebrand exercise … exercise isn’t a weight-loss tool per se, it's excellent for health is probably the best single thing that you can do other than stopping smoking to improve your health.

But don’t look at it as a weight-loss tool.

Exercise will definitely help you live a longer, happier life…. It’s just not the best way to lose weight. And the reason has to do with how our bodies use energy.

You may not realize it, but physical activity is actually a tiny component of your daily energy burn.

There are three main ways our bodies burn calories.

These include your resting metabolism, so that's how much energy your body burns just for its basic functioning, just to keep you alive, basically.

The other part of energy expenditure is the thermic effect of food, and that’s just how much energy is required to break food down in your body.

The third part of energy expenditure is physical activity. For most people, physical activity - that’s any movement you do, only accounts for about 10 to 30 percent of energy use.

So the vast majority of energy or calories you burn every day comes from your basal or resting metabolism, over which you have very little control. While 100% of your “calories in” are up to you, only up to about 30% of your “calories out” are in your control.

One study found that if a 200-pound man ran for an hour, 4 days a week for a month, he’d lose about 5 pounds at most, assuming everything else stays the same.

And everything else doesn’t stay the same!

Researchers have found we make all kinds of behavioural and physiological adaptations when we start increasing the amount of exercise we’re getting every day.

For one thing, exercise tends to make people hungry. And I'm sure you know the feeling:

you go for a spinning class in the morning, and then by the time you eat breakfast you're so hungry, you may be double the size of the portion of oatmeal you normally eat.

There's also evidence to suggest that some people simply slow down after a workout, so if you went running in the morning you might be less inclined to take the stairs at work. These are called “compensatory behaviours” -- the various ways we unknowingly undermine our workouts.

Researchers have also discovered a phenomenon called metabolic compensation.

As people start to slim down, their resting metabolism can slow down. So the amount of energy you burn while at rest is lower. That means this bar might shrink as you start to lose weight.

There’s still a lot of research to be done, but one study from 2012 is particularly interesting. They went out into the middle of the Savannah in Tanzania to measure the energy burn among a group of hunter-gathers called the Hadza.

These are super-active, lean hunter-gatherers. They’re not spending their days behind a computer at a desk. And what they found was shocking. What they found is that there was no difference at all.

So even though the Hadza have a much more physically active lifestyle, they weren't burning any more calories every day than adults in the US and Europe.

Somehow the energy they used for physical activity was being offset or conserved elsewhere. So how do they stay slim? They don’t overeat.

We can undo the calories that we burn off in exercise pretty quickly. It would take about an hour of running to burn off a Big Mac and fries.

You’d have to spend about an hour dancing pretty vigorously to burn off three glasses of wine you might drink with dinner.

An hour of cycling really intensely on exercise bikes to burn off about two doughnuts. That’s why exercise is best seen as a healthy supplement for a strategy that’s focused on food.

But despite extremely high obesity rates, government agencies continue to present exercise as a solution... as do companies with a real interest in making sure we keep eating and drinking their products.

Since the 1920s, companies like Coca-Cola have been aligning themselves with the exercise message. The idea here is that you can drink all these extra bottles of soda as long as you work out. But as we're seeing, it doesn't work like that.

Actually burning off those extra calories from a can of soda is really, really hard.

We have an obesity problem, and we shouldn't treat low physical activity and eating too many calories as equally responsible for it.

Public health policymakers should really prioritize improving our food environment to help people make healthier choices about what they eat.

It's not impossible to lose weight through exercise, it's just a lot harder. And we need to recognize how that works.

If you do go to the gym, and you burn all these calories, it takes you a long time to do so and you put in a great amount of effort, you can erase all of that in five minutes of eating a slice of pizza... Relative magnitude is actually quite surprising, and most people don't fully appreciate that.

EducationThis Is Why You Are Poor by davniffy(op): 8:54pm On Dec 11, 2021
This headline is not meant to insult you, but to awake that anger in you towards poverty.

The road to wealth is probably the most mysterious path. Some people love it, others despise it and yet everyone ends up running behind it.

But, most people aren’t trying to be on the top of the Forbes list and compete with Jeff Bezos or Bill gates,

they just want financial security so that they don’t have to worry about their main needs. But in order to survive in the modern world, one way or another you have to get into debt.

I mean, if you want to get a car or a house, it's pretty much impossible for an average person without getting a debt. And unfortunately, most people end up not paying those debts.

So, is it really that difficult to become financially independent?

No, because just in 2017, more than a million people in the United States alone became millionaires! that's a lot of people!

So, what I was thinking about is, what is the one thing you could do that will certainly make you rich.

In fact, what is the one thing that everyone can do, regardless of their background or where on earth are they living?.

What is the most practical advice that you can implement immediately!

And the answer is: Control Your Ego; because it is your ego that has been keeping you poor all of this time! …..and here is why! We all know that we are all in different financial situations, some of us are born into rich families while others are not.

Some of us get a good job right after college while others struggle to find even a bad one...Some of us successfully build a business with 1 shot while others succeed only after failing a couple of times.

And that's something absolutely normal,

because we all live different lives and we are naturally different from each other. But unfortunately, our ego forces us to constantly compare ourselves to the people around us...… and try to meet society's standards and norms. Even if these norms are completely against our interests.

I mean, let us say you recently graduated and got a good job. Congratulations! everything is going the way you want! But then you look around and see that your friends or colleagues got new cars.....You are going to feel like you are left behind like you are not cool like them.

In fact, you might feel inferior in front of them if you don't have what they have.

So instead, you are going out there and getting yourself into debt so that you also drive what others are driving! Of course, it will give you instant emotional satisfaction that you are not a loser but for the next few years, you probably won't save a single penny, simply because you have to keep making your debt payment.

And that's all because Your ego pushed you to do what you should not! If you take a look at your life, pretty much everything you do is a result of your ego.

You didn't want to go to college, but since all of your friends are going, you didn't want to be like an outsider, so you took the same path. You wanted to start a YouTube channel, you are passionate, you have some great ideas but you are not going to do that!

Guess why? because your ego is scaring you, What if you make a video and all of your friends will make fun of you! What if you drop out and your start-up won't work!

what will people say bout you that's the voice of your ego!

The point is, stop making your life about others.

Stop comparing yourself to others, because no matter how cool you will be dressed, there is someone who will be dressed cooler. There is always someone who will be driving a better car, there is someone who will be living in a bigger house.

You are living under absolutely different conditions, and if you do not take decisions based on what's best for you and not what others will think about, forget about financial independence. Because you will end up wasting your money and time!

If you what you have just read, kindly like, comment, and follow so you will not miss any subsequent piece.

EducationEverything You Want Is On The Other Side Of Fear by davniffy(op): 1:06pm On Dec 11, 2021
I think the greatest fear that we face is ourselves. Actually, you know, I think it's not anything that's external or anything that's superficial! Here I am thinking. The greatest fear you face is yourself.

We all have dreams, and it's very scary sometimes to accept the dream that you have and it's scarier still to say.

It's scary because you're afraid that

if you put your heart and soul into it - and you fail, then how are you going to feel about yourself so being fearless connotes, putting yourself out there, and going for it.

Go for it no matter what!!!

Yes, go for it, not for anybody else, but for yourself stepping aggressively towards your nervousness.... and taking that step towards your panic is the step into bravery because we're scared of what we don't know.

And there is only one course to learn and to know, and that is to confront that distress you have to take steps.

You have to go, and this simple action, this simple attitude. It reacts to so many questions.

How do you overcome the fear of loss or fright? of success or fear of panic itself? you take the step, and how do you face the fear of the unknown? you take the step.

Don't wait anymore, don't think anymore, don't project anymore, don't contemplate anymore, don't make any more apologetics or justifies don't rationalize anything else. No!

No, and no instead be aggressive, take action now,

And what is the first action that you need to take? What is the first step you need to take?

The first step you need to take is yourself right now for you to find greatness in yourself, you're not going to find it by glancing in a publication or by even examining anyone.

You may be given the precipitate, but you've got to go inside yourself to find it.

The things you are most afraid of you flinch from, you have to start facing these things and becoming an expert at the things you feared the most. You have to start surmounting them.

You have to start mastering it

Start recognizing it. This is it. Do you want to be one of the best players in any area? then start mastering it.

Every person has the ability to put one foot in front of the other

So if you're saying, okay, I'm gonna condescend mounting Everest at the bottom of the mountain and you look up and you're going, are you not going to rising your bars right?

But if you break it down into the articles and simply one foot in front of the other.... one rank at a time next thing you know you're at the top of the mountain,...… whatever times follow good, bad, or inattentive, you can implement those minutes to stimulate yourself forward, use those as gasoline to help you be a better player.

Fear of lack is good. Fear of dud will prevent you up at night.

Planning fear of loss will dissuade you from teaching hard it'll prevent you from cutting inclinations.

Dread of failing will subdue you from working and thinking and striving and relentlessly trying to be more prepared for battle.

I want you to be afraid of aborting. I fear failure, but most crucial. I want you to be sickened.

I want you to be startled of sitting on your ass and doing nothing.

That is what I want you to be afraid of, of waking up in six sunlight or six weeks or six years or 60 seasons and being no closer to your goal.

You've made no progress; that is the fright. That is the nightmare. That is what you need to be truly just scared of being depressed.

You can't short-change yourself, you're, not misinforming anybody, but yourself.

I mean you're, tired, you're, literally this far away from the line. Why would you not pass that additional to touch the line?

Mama mentality simply shows trying to be the best version of yourself. Thant's what the mentality symbolizes.

It symbols every day, you're trying to become better and it's a constant crusade. It's infinite hunting to me.

The mentality is a really simple one in the sense that confidence comes from preparation. You know so when the game's on the line.

You not asking yourself to get something that you haven't done thousands of eras before when you prepare, you know what you are capable of doing.

You know what you are pleasant to make and you know what you are not pleasant to make.

So, go for it, defeat that fear because everything you ever want is on the other side of fear
