As much as I love this ride, I have issues with the scratch on some parts, and also the fact that it has been painted once or twice before.

The colour shows its not the original painting.
Also the seat isn't a leather.

In line with the foregoing, e lo no jaale?

I'm wondering the biblical verse that is the most quoted by people(Religious and non religious)

We sometimes quote the Bible to suit our purpose, not necessarily because we really mean to or understand the message therein.

Is it Matthew 7:7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

Or
Luke 6:38 ►Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

Or
John 11:35 ►Jesus wept.

Or
Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

THE Police, yesterday, raided the Asokoro residence of former governor of Gombe State and Chairman, Senate Committee on Appropriations, Senator Danjuma Goje.

Goje, who represents Gombe Central, was elected on the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC.

A source told Vanguard that the police stormed the 10 Haile Selassie Street, Asokoro, residence of the senator, acting on a tip-off by a whistleblower.
The source also toldVanguardthat at the end of the search which lasted hours, N18 million; $19,000 and 4,000 Saudi Riyal were found in his house.

Efforts to reach Senator Goje on his two mobile phone numbers as well as those of his aides byVanguardproved futile as they were switched off.
Jimoh Moshood, spokesman of the police, could not be reached for comments at press time.

But a senior police source, who preferred anonymity, confirmed that the senator’s house was raided but did not give details.

This is the change we voted for and we are getting closer.

We no longer fear Armed Robbers again that they can trail us and rob us, we now fear WHISTLE BLOWERS AND EFCC.

This is real change.

You have money, you are afraid to spend it, cos the source is not pure.

Go to Apongbon, over 50% of 'foreign wines are from the east. Fake and poisonous. These things cause cancer and terminates lives easily.

I'm wondering why some human beings would choose to be wicked towards other mortals, as long as it makes them smile to the banks.

Yes you have to be.

My uncle that did so much in my life also embarrassed me, when I went to Jankara Market and bought a C Way Water dispenser that turned out to be fake for his daughter as wedding gift

Lesson I learned was that you can mistakenly buy fake item for personal use, but never as gift.

NAFDAC can do more than waiting for Tip off.

Create a portal for us to send a text to confirm NAFDAC registration number.

I'm in the office reading this news and checked the pet bottle water with me now.

You may need to tighten the nuts very well or increase the nut size to a larger one.

I fear that

Do you mean major reprogramming or just fine tuning? Fine tuning is regular occurrence with big jacked dishes especially Comstar Mesh.

Fine tuning. For instance 1:0 west was programmed at number on the positioner. After the rainfall, i get no signal. Then adjust the dish slightly to bring back the signal quality. After this is done, AFN would no longer be on position 9. I would have to save this new adjusted position as number 9.

Same applies to all satellites from 68.5 east to 34 west.

aki na ukwa was around 2005/2006

Just say that's the year you watched it.

2005 was the year of confederation's cup, whilst 2006 was when the WC was hosted in Germany.

Do proper research.

32 inches will be more than enough for the job. The bigger the jack, the slower the movement. I haven't used 42 inches before but considering how slow 32 inches can be at times, 42 inches will be frustrating. The thing is that the power unit which is the positioner has specific match for big jacks. You can as well buy both but the positioner is not always available so you will have to make do with your current positioner and get 32 inches super jack.

Emmachile.

I do observe that after heavy rainfalls and whirlwind, dish do tilt and despite having programmed the positioned, one still get no signal or Audio.

I'll most times have to reprogram.

Do you guys experience that?

That's Lagos though

And who says CTL isn't popular
.
The truth is CTL is cable tv
Dstv is satellite tv..
Dstv can't challenge them because CTL, Metrodigital, CAN tv(cmtv), MCL and PBS all pay Dstv a certain amount per year for the rights to broadcast those leagues on a Cable Platform.

Lagos is where you have market. If you're not in Lagos, you can't compete with DSTV.

60% or more companies have their HQ in Lagos, even though they explore oils in different parts of Nigeria

What's the mileage?
What year was it imported into Nigeria?
Original keyless entry or modified

I'm interested

On my 3m, i use a heavy duty jack. It can still happen on any setup if the dish is lowered too much to the west or east. Its better you avoid the extreme angles or get a heavy duty jack.

I can avoid on the west, but not on the east.

When we did the set up, we stopped at 22° west but yesterday, the dish dropped off and the positioner was showing E2.

I went up, lifted the dish and someone was moving the positioner inside.

Mesh dishes are lighter in weight than fibre and Pan, but this jack of mi e pulls this dish with force.

The jack's tenure may end at the end of this season

Chinedu7:
If it was working fine before then there are few reasons why such thing can happen.

1. The jack could be stiff, needs to be oiled

2. Two of the 4 connecting cables clash

3. It can hang when it reaches it's limit if it's not heavy duty.

4. Low current can also affect the motor strength that moves the jack.

5. It could be that the jack is about to die.

Do your troubleshooting but if you have to replace it better get heavy duty.

Thanks man.

I did oiling, but if it persist, I'll go for heavy duty jack.
But a trusted and experienced pal told me on Friday that there isn't too much difference between our normal popular jack and the heavy duty one.

He mentioned that we have 16 inches, 32 inches and 42 inches. May be the 42 inches would be the option.

I have 3 LNB on it.

Cband 1, no plate for Sony etc
Cband prime focus, for AFN
Ku for 16e etc.

So jack starts from 68.5e and as I type now, it stops at 1.0w for AFN. I'm very unwilling to go beyond 1.0 west until tomorrow.

My team trails Madrid in the UCL and tomorrow is the second leg. After the match, I can give it a try, hence end of season, I can get 42 inches Jack

kogistar2:
it's stuck, not stock

Oh thank you.

Hope this makes you feel better now.

@ Emmachile. I just returned from my dish now. I had to go 'oil' the bolt and nut cos the Jack sometimes gets stucked on the west and refuse to return to the east. Two things came to mi

1) Whether the dish is heavy for the jack to pull or
2) The jack is getting weak.

Would see the outcome.

Please confirm if you experienced same on your 3 meter dish back then

What do you stand to gain from all these that you're doing?

Does it make you any better?

I just red this on a satellite community is it true?
AFN - one of the highly desired tv services & long secured behind PowerVu encryption - (which was finally cracked a year or so back), AFN will soon be starting to simulcrypt their tv services with Verimatrix encryption, in parallel to the PowerVu...

This is not unexpected judging from the recent happenings. They may not really go the conax, Nagravison, irdeto encryption way, but may do an upgrade that makes it difficult for the keys to be cracked.

MTN is doing same on NSS 12, where the EMM changes too frequently, now very difficult to crack
