DSTV started before them all and bought all the content exclusively leaving them with left overs. If we continue lauding DSTV, things will never change. The yearly price increase will continue. For me, I am determined to cure myself of the madness for EPL. I will only go to watch my team play in the weekend games or watch very important matches via Kodi.

Im not a lover of BPL too, but follow German football religiously, which is why i bought speedHD that time cos Canal+ in france has the right to German league and all European qualifiers on Sport+ channel. I dont need EPL. The channel that shows bundesliga on DSTV is Super sport 7 and sometimes, they leave it for SS5. I heard startimes just got the right to air bundesliga to WA sub region. Im yet to confirm. If its true, it means theyll be showing a match on friday, one on Saturday and another one on Sunday. 3 matches per week. DSTV currently has 5 matches per week but they sometimes failed to air more than 3 live matches and show others as delayed.

If you are so interested in local content and channels, Startimes has so many of them. I am not so interested in them though but Startimes has IROKO Play and Iroko Plus, AMc series, Amc movies, Orisun,Cool Tv, Wazobia Tv, Tiwan Tiwan,Awa Tv , Wap Tv . All local channels with local movies, local entertainment and Nollywood

I agree but i cant trade any yoruba channel for AM yoruba. Orisun is a step down. Dont know about Iroko TV yet.
AMagic Showcase and Urban are the bomb for me oo. Until i get startimes, i will love local content on DSTV. DSTV also do not have more MITV , AIT, Channels, STV and NTA. Startimes has more local Nigerian channels.

With that kind of money you are spending, you can afford to get DSTV premium plus French , asian and German addons, and still add Startimes and ACTV on the side. IPTV is expensive unless you want to watch selected matches per week and even at that, each match takes about 500mb (Cause most stream in HD). IPTV is very attractive but the huge cost of Internet is a problem. If one knows any Internet connection that can give unlimited per month, at affordable price, please share.

These people claim they give unlimited but they are only covering Lekki and Island - Wifi . com . ng

Dstv should be fair enough on Nigerian customers.

NTA sports (free) aired portugal vs senegal today but the same match was also on sports 2 (classic 2400 package)
Sports Focus (Nova 600 package) aired Uruguay vs Serbia and it was very interesting. High power game by Serbia though lost by 1-0

It means assuming I paid 600 naira for the Nova package, I would watch both matches (NTA sports + Sports Focus). Interesting

Note: Picture quality on NTA sports poor compared to Sports 2

Or you can pay weekly or by days in startimes by dropping any amount in your account through quickteller. Eg I paid for my neighbour N400 for 5 days viewing on the classic package (N80 a day x 5) through her quickteller then she may decide to convert to premium to watch Women's world cup from 6th June. That would cost N120 a day.
