Nice one ! Maybe this could help dalaman understand the role of science and religion in life .

And do you think there is life outside earth ? I believe God has other plans for the universe as regards to intelligent life outside man . What do you think ?

thehomer:
It isn't simply that the Bible isn't a scientific source, but that it also presents wrong information.

thehomer:
What happens when scientific information contradicts the information in the Bible? Does that mean the information in the Bible is wrong?

KingEbukasBlog:
So why do you mock people that say the supernatural is responsible . Science tries to explain how it was done and religion explains why it was done

Lemme give you a quick example :

1. Why was the universe or earth formed?

Science : No answer

Religion : To be inhabited by intelligent , free moral agents to whom God will reveal Himself to

2 . How was the universe or earth formed

Science : accretion ; big bang

Religion : No answer

We were born into this earth ; science just tries to explain how all these came into being (how) . Religion tells us the cause (who is responsible ; who is in charge ) , why (the purpose of life ) and other stuff like understanding the purpose of life , how we should live our lives etc

Also note that design arises from the surrounding environment not by the mere wish of the designer like you are suggesting. If an environment is lacking why then the design?!

Evasion number 4: If you think that nothingness was never the case then it is either the universe was caused to exist or it has always existed. So now please answer my question. Was the Universe caused to exist? If so, what properties would a thing capable of causing the universe have? . . .or do you think that the universe has always existed?

I think the universe was brought into existence. Since evidently we both agree that something can only come from something, which means we both agree that there must be a first uncaused cause. What properties do you think that this first cause has?

There is a Qsat 28g which does not receive channels at all. Signal is stuck at 100%. What could be the solution?

dalaman:
Science is a growing body of knowledge. 50 years ago we didn't even know much about the brain and how it functions. 50 years ago we didn't know what the DNA qas. Science discovered the DNA and how it functions. If there is anything that can explain the origin of the DNA it will be science not religion.

dalaman:
Do you know what science is?

dalaman:
34 pages and no one has been able to show us the scientific proof that DNA was created by a supernatural entity. The topic saus 3 arguments for the existence of God. Shoq us the scientific studies that shows that DNA was created by a supernatural entity already. What are you guys waiting for? Scince can't account for theexistence of the DNA. Show us how the supernatural created the DNA and end this endless rigmarole.

Well I understand his wife and son are coming to Nigeria to help him out and they are trying to raise a donation campaign. I will try my best to contribute. That is by the way.

I have concluded finally to install a 4.4m dish, the data consumption and expense is quite high. I shall update you guys on it. Thanks for all your support - Talabanis, Davody, Emma - my regards.

I also want to know how many satellite I can capture if I motorise the dish

Boss13:
Haba - Lucky Dube ke? Majek was at par with Bob Marley. When he went to America to promote his album "Spirit of Love" - They said Bob Marley is back. I think he is the only Nigerian artiste to be sign on an American Music Label "Interscope Records". Majek was a movement, so sad to see what he has become.

Boss13:
Yea - Nigeria's greatest living Musician (IMO). I have a good compilation of his songs and they are extremely relevant today with the nonsense one is forced to listen to on the radio or in parties.
