So we don't expect you to be objective about what happened Let me engage you on this matter, even though for many years, I have stopped doing this. Condition, let us be civil and no insult or vulgar language Do you believe tribalism play a role in BBN? |

Threebear: My dear , one thing Igbos will always accuse people of is tribalism 😁
Even though we've had more Igbo winners and housemates than we can count.
Anyone with common sense can tell the juries are just going with people they have personal relationships with.
Uriel isn't in their social circle .
If they loved Uriel so much , what then is she doing in the bottom 2 out of 17 whole housemates.
You won't vote your so called entertainers but you expect the juries to leave their own friends and keep who you like ?
Lol Abi oo. They brought in politics to it and made it appear like it was a gang up against a section of the country. People should learn how to manage their emotions. Let us reason what MNET did 1. Selected 10 housemates from a region, not minding federal character or how sentimental Nigerians are as regard tribe and religion 2. Selected relatives Neo and Venita, not minding that they can be criticized 3. They have been 7 winners, but chose only two (Mercy and WhiteMoney) 4. Ebuka hosting the show is Igbo. (we dont care cos Ebuka is doing vert well) Did anyone ever go on Twitter to insult MNET and wished evil on anyone just as Laycon and Mike are facing now? No matter the situation, decisions are made based on certain biases since we are human. People should just control their emotions and leave it. Seun Osewa owns Nairaland. He is a Nigerian. Guess what? His most trusted assistant since year 2005 to date is Mukina2. Mukina2 is not even a Nigerian. We have to cut Seun's head for ignoring Nigerians to be his deputy. |

Threebear: Dominique, are some people immune to being banned in this forum ?
I've seen some people getting banned for saying way less , but you always turn a blind eye when this particular user goes very low.
You people are complaining about Uriel being cheated, but here is cheating in broad daylight and you'll still pretend you didn't see it .
I've seen Tatiana getting banned for saying way less, so many other users too.
If you can't keep justice in where you have control, why expect justice in the society?
I know as usual you'll ignore , but someone has to call out the hypocrisy.
If we all could say things the way we wanted then you can imagine how messy this forum would be.
An adult that can't control their emotions, have no right mixing in a civilized society.
Don't think toxicity is limited to certain people.
We have just learnt how to follow the rules .
Rules you administrate
Hopefully, you can do your job and set a good precedence. |

Dsimmer: I don't see any tribalism. Teddy A didn't even pick Seyi.
There's no way Laycon would save Uriel whom he doesn't know much, compared to seyi's who's his close friend, considering Seyi is close to several housemates outside of the show. It's called loyalty. Imagine if seyi gets out and starts to have problem with him based on the fact that his friend was in a position to save him but didn't. He would feel bad about it all. Whereas if Uriel startts to have problem with Laycon for example, he wouldn't feel bad as much because they weren't close friends to begin with. Same way Laycon would save Nengi, Ozo etc over others, not someone whom he's not close to. It's called loyalty. Like I stated already, Seyi is close to most of the housemates outside of the show. I can't say same for Uriel who's probably close to only the housemates in her edition. The jury didn't even know her, except Teddy. Whereas Seyi is close to the housemates from several editions. So they saved Seyi based on the fact that Seyi is their friend, not because they had anything against Uriel.
That said, Seyi and Uriel are roughly the same in what they offer on the show. Both can go home and I won't be bothered. Aside Uriel always wailing for the men to be hers. What else? As for Seyi, he gives gbas gbos here and there. Nothing else. In fact, isn't gba gbos what some hypocritical people are hailing whenever some provocative girls do same? Lol. Like I stated already, Both of them could go home and I wouldn't be bothered. In fact everyone can go home Still yet to get over my Yemi attachment tbh I remember someone cursing me when I said I wasn't voting the candidate the youths were supporting.

Things are always subject to change when the percentage is close and that's why I told them earlier I got my last update on Wednesday.
Uriel and Venita were in the bottom 5 .
I had no idea Uriel will fall off so hard and land in the bottom 2 .
If Ebuka showed the full result you'll see that Neo and Venita are not so far from the bottom 3 shown . Why you no comment on the decision of the jurors? |

lokoloko84: Let them continue. When majority of the housemates come from a particular region, nobody cares. But because this did not go there way, they are ventilating. The Organisers should close shop and focus on BBTITANS. Enough of this nonsense. Where you come from should not be an issue, but if they want to play dirty, we too can play with them Did any of the people shouting tribalism now ever questioned MNET for picking: Ike Mercy Soma WM CeeC Princess Uriel Cross Frodd Alex From one region in Nigeria? You have 6 Geo Zones South South (4 housemates) South East (10 housemates) South West (4 housemates) North East (0 housemate) North Central (2 housemates) North West (0 housemate) MNET should have practiced Federal Character by picking equally. MNET is biased Our Amiable Vice president is from North East, but MNET did not pick anyone from Borno, Adamawa, Yobe and Taraba. This is marginalization against we the Hausa people |

Acidosis: Tweet Oracle, the f00lish Beverly woman from South Africa, and every other animal pushing the tribal narrative and division in Nigeria (especially the everly pained Ho-erica fans on Twitter) are extremely stu*!d.
How does Laycon saving his friend shows tribalism? Everyone votes with sentiments, including the voters.
There are at least 10 Igbo men and women on this show against 4 or 5 Yoruba people but these e-diots only remember tribalism when things don't work according to their predictions. This is Mike Edwards, confirming openly that he actually supports Seyi. Nothing to hide. Seyi had good relationship with ex housemates. I heard WM say on the show that he saw Seyi on Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1 some months back and he had to park his car and greet Seyi. Your friends can never let you down.

drimzsmoke: To think Safari was 1 of those who started it!!! Last week Monday, Nigeria lost to England at the Women World Cup. Guess the tribe two players that missed their penalties. Guess the tribe of the one that scored. We cried together and celebrate together. Did you read any post on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Thread to say it was a sabotage? Yet D Tigress, our female basketball national team won a championship. More than 50% of our winners are Igbo. I was one of those that celebrated their success on my WhatsApp Status. This is a game, not politics. In politics, you can claim anything and accuse anyone of anything, but not on this show. Enough of this sentiment |

ThierryJay: Taa! I thought you were smarter than this. My argument is:
Teddy A voted out Seyi. Verdict - Not tribal Diana voted out Uriel. Verdict - Not tribal Laycon voted out Uriel. Verdict - May not or may be tribal
You: The Jury is TRIBALISTIC!
The vapidity is just amusing. Una dey rate some people on Nairaland. Person wey talk say the cost of travel ticket is dependent on the passport you hold and nationality? I laughed so tey, I had to come in to educate, that ticket cost is based on distance. Na people like that you expect to reason well? Taa. We had 20 housemates, 10 from one tribe. So if this jury is based on tribal sentiment, then we should blame MNET for not bringing any housemate from North West and North East. Let me reason for them. MNET, you're biased. Why didn't you give us any housemate from Kaduna State? MNET is biased and tribalistic as well. This narrative needs to end abeg The Female basketball national team just won the African Championship. More than half of them are from South East. We're so proud of them and we don't care where they came from. The coach picked the best and the best won for Nigeria. Some of these GenZ should end this narrative. |
