Where can anyone outside Nigeria watch this? Last year's episodes were on YouTube, but looks like that are not doing same in the current year.

It's on youtube. They release new episodes every week (I think either Saturday or Sunday). They are currently on the blind auditions and have released 2 episodes already.

Politics / Re: Akinwumi Adesina: Nigeria’s Poverty Situation Is Unacceptable by daxier: 6:24am On Jul 11, 2021
Monogamy:
What have you done about it as the president of ADB?

Good question! The AfDB President has, among other duties, the responsibility of lifting NIGERIA and its citizens out of poverty as well as empower them. He must be able to bypass the President and other Nigerian leaders to map out wealth creation and economic sustainability strategies for NIGERIA.

So yeah, you are right to ask him what he has done about his agitations with his office.

Career / Re: Should I Continue Studying Medicine In Nigeria Or Should I Start Afresh Abroad by daxier: 6:04pm On Jun 22, 2021
Whoever told you the Nigerian Medical certificate is useless is either ignorant or intentionally deceiving you. Top choices for doctors to practice remain US, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany. Both Nigerian and Eastern European graduates will write same licensing exams to practice in those places. I should add that many Eastern european graduates come back to write the MDCN exams and do housemanship/Internship (at least, even if they'll japa eventually). Not sure exactly why it's difficult to stay back and practice over there.

For those telling you the Naija certificate is highly valuable and that Naija docs are highly sought-after, I'll say that's not entirely true. On the international scene, It's about how well you perform in their licensing exams and the other stuffs on your application (such as research, observerships etc). What I can tell you is that there is a level of toughness that the Nigerian system baptize you with that enables you to survive and push through (sometimes even, to excel) in those saner climes.

This is getting too long (Sorry!). If you do have specific concerns, I'll be happy to chat more.

Well. Sorry about your brother. But the story didnt add up. They negleted you yet all they asked you provided which means they actually attended to him. There are a lot of gaps in your story. I would assume you are not a good story teller

He's sure not a good story teller...they got to the hospital around past 6pm, the brother struggled for 5hours and gave up around past 8pm...wheeewww...Sorry for the loss bro

No need to worry yourself start checking flight details. They just need to verify if the account is genuine as you submitted it. You are fine

Of course, we can only hope it doesn't take forever.

I had my visa interview on August 11th, 2018 at US Consulate in Abuja but my application was placed on Administrative Processing so as to verify my father's bank statement. Please who else is in this condition or had this experience? How do banks verify the bank statement?

You are not alone bro, we are together. Several mails sent with several calls, bottomline: "Patience"

hello everyone. I had to come here because i keep getting lost. I want to get a Bachelor's degree in Nursing in New Jersey or Texas and i am on a very low budget. Can't find cheap enough schools for international student or even understand the per credit billing. I'll appreciate some help. Looking to resume in January so i have to be fast

Why New jersey or Texas? If you are on "a very low budget", I think that should be your major criteria while searching for schools and not location...lol...unless perhaps, you have some support in those two places that complement your "very low budget"

congrats. Trust me I know how it feels to be on AP. I myself have been on AP since the 11th of August. My interview was at the Abuja consulate. It’s hasn’t been easy since. The tension no here. To make things worse, The abuja embassy is closed at the moment. Anyways, I would like to know the number you called?

Brother, my case is very similar to yours. Had my interview same day in abuja. The VO told me to pick up my passport after 3 business days. Tried the online tracker, only to discover I've been placed on AP. I was at the DHL office on friday, heard no passport was delivered all through the week. In anticipation, I had earlier booked a flight for Saturday evening. My school resumes today, 20th August.
I called the number up there, the lady that picked referred me to send a mail to abujaconsular@state.gov, got the usual response I got all through last week, "sorry, we are unable to attend to visa bla bla bla..."
I'm missing orientation already, I only pray I get this all sorted before classes start next week

Phones / All Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos Issues Here!!! by daxier: 12:25am On Oct 01, 2014
I've been having some issues with my galaxy grand. In a way, I need help with it and also want to open up a platform where fellow users can get help with theirs too.

Here are the issues I have:

1. Since I upgraded to 4.2.2 earlier dis year, I've not been able to take screenshots. I used to swipe across the face of the phone before to take screenshots but it no longer works.

2. Ever since the upgrade, my phone has been unusually slow and sometimes hang.

3. I do get an 'insufficient storage memory' notification especially when I download some updates, despite having abt 1gig of phone memory available.

I'll appreciate anyone with useful info on how I can go about these. Tanx
