I have seen so many people give you wonderful suggestions and I completely agree with all they have told you. Just to add, you can consider Business analysis, even if it is a 1 year PGC and close to graduation, you can try applying for jobs such as customer service analysts, customer support analyst, Global service support analyst and so forth. If you want 3 years PGWP, you can apply for another 1 year PGC in Data analysis/science. In these days of organizations employing individuals with T shaped skills, having a combination of Business and Data analysis skills alongside your previous experience in customer service is a big advantage for you.
Most people always advise students to go for 16/24 months program so that they can get 3 years PGWP. This will give them enough time to apply for PR. Honestly, 1 year goes by so fast In Canada. I am tempted to say time abroad goes faster than the one in Nigeria. This does not mean I have not seen people finish 1 year degree programs, get 1 year PGWP and then get their PR. I will give you an example of two different situations. Sir, thank you, in respect to the bolded. Would it be wise to go for a year program, and if so, how easily will it be enrolling for another one year program while there? Thank you 1 Like |

Anon123:okay, can you assist with a 2years PGD/C program that a customer service officer in a financial institution can do that will show career progression? Thank you |
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by dayjeee(m): 9:50am On Aug 15, 2020 |
JustMellow:Thank you sir. The reason why I decided I want to go for the diploma course is because of the fee, its cheaper than PGD/C Secondly, most of the PGD/C i have seen are 1year program, and I want a 2year program, in order to get 2 to 3 years PGWP, and that's is what most diploma offer. The reason I wanted to go for management related courses is because it will be a little bit easier to secure a job in a qualified NOC if i want to apply for PR. Moreso, I have more than 2 years work experience as a CSO in a financial institution. I will still appreciate your contribution and direction. Thank you |
