We did it!
Whether you are on Oke side, Akeredolu side, Jegede side, we must now accept the outcome and rally together for the sake of Ondo people and continuity in our region. Ondo people have always been outside of the political tent with rest, but they are with us now. This is a cause for jubilation.

You recall the moves recently of bringing Lagos and Ibile Holdings into the fold Oodua Investment and the reenergization of the DAWN programme to integrate. Lagos has commited to spend strategically to develop the hinterland so that our people living in Akure, Ogbomosho, as far as Ilorin will have easy commute via modern modes of transportation to move commerce and trade around. You can live in Akure and commute daily to Lagos or Ota to work. Improved productivity. You can take weekend to move from Lagos and go hinterland to see culture and traditions, it boosts wellbeing.

Our leaders have programmes to improve this region. We get most out of it when the political agenda guiding us is uniform and not in conflict.

We will sort out the differences later, as you all know. For now this win for APC in Ondo is a win for Yorubaland, period, and we should celebrate it.

May Oduduwa continue to bless Yorubaland, Ase!

Aketi is the candidate of APC.The president have no choice but to support his party's decision to back Aketi. That is the hallmark of a true party man.

Tinubu had displayed his very selfish and egocentric tendencies, by not supporting his party's candidate.We all know about Tinubu's authoritarian and imposition posture in Lagos .So it is very hypocritical of him to have turned against his party for an alleged imposition of Aketi.
