definately d entrance exam is goin to involve maths and english.@pkv, SBRS student basicaly aply to science oriented course lyk faculty of engineerin so there ar specific number of space allocated to d remedial student bt definately it has to do wit those dat passed the SBRS exam. I did do sbrs then i passed and was admitted.wen u passed the exam wnd hav d required point u wil b admitted automaticaly. @do while ur post ume and Jamb ume average is d criteria used for admission, candidate dat are frm d same state dat apply for a particula course will not b considered if nobody passed d minimum cut off mark 4 dat state, except smuggle in.dat is d fact.

thanx engr kunlexy or kunlex cos u ar not an engr, ur info was partially correct! 1stly d admission list was supposed to b release dis monday bt d NASU strike delayed d process, as u can recalled last yr admission commitee was headed by d DVC ACADEMICS, coz d VC was on leave 2 Mecca.dat was y it was flood wit so many irregularities, there wil stil b dis yr bt in a reduce state coz d VC is d head of d commitee dis yr.D List has alrdy been aprov and sent 2 JAMB 4 confirmation and approval, ryt nw wat we ar expectin is d 2011/2012 admission list. Dat wat am gonna try get d info hopefully today bt i knw 4 sure d list shld b out on or b4 monday. Thanks guys, 1 luv!!!

@pkv thx 4 d info, am temidayo 400l chemical engineerin dept presently in school chillin my ass at d staff quarters b4 resumption. Wit respect 2 pkv d info abov is wrong, pharmacy alone has over 12500 applic only 120 wil b admited,engineerin has 7600 applic only 800 space, and other faculties like law,science,enviromental,social sci,management,education, and agric all has over enuff candi dat came for d post ume. So 18,000 applic just lyk number for 2 faculty pharmacy and enigineering. 2ndly d space allocated for ABU zaria for dis yr admission frm NUC and to b confirmed by jamb not to exceed is 6000 space. D admission guideline from JAMB ar strictly to b followed. Specific number will b admitted base on merit,another base on catchment area, and d less educational develop state(LEDS), lyk in my dept 5 slot was givn 2 all catchment area state, dis will comprise of d best 5 student from d post ume average.dis info am tellin u guys is frm d HOD water res and envir engineerin dept who happens to b my uncle and am stayin wit him nw, So Dat is dat 4 nw.

Yes u can, i did it 2yr back,and i got admision in 2 schools wit seperate forms.jst make sure u bought them diferent tyms,sumit diferent tym and use diferent pasport.

@all gudmornin,i think tunex is right coz it hapen in ma school futmina were sum of d names release where nt evn sent 2 jamb 4 aproval until later. jamb only give matric numbas and conduct d matriculation exam.It d job of Nuc 2 regulate.tunex pls wen exactly wil d list b release coz ma cousin is on my neck.i cal a friend dat schools there she said d names were supose 2 b release last wk bt d VC delays it til dis wk.pls reply

@kogistan nice work,am a student of futminna bt pls help me 2 confirm 4rm ur uncle in jamb if sumbody cn b ofered admision in 2 univ.my frnd aplied twice tru direct entry and had good point in is qualification.he is sure of getin admision in both is 1st choice univ.pls confirm if there wil b a problem.

Yap concernin acommodation,it depends on where u want 2 stay,d cost varies dependin on d kind of crib u like okay,like a room wit toilet and shared kitchen could cost u 35k in front of school bt cost 70k in boso estate.i fit hook u up wit my frnd who is in2 house agent.
