Anybody that knows how to remove W32.Downadup.B worm infection should please come to my aid. My network got infected with the virus, I downloaded the tool provided at http://www.symantec, 011316-0247-99. Unfortunately, I have run the tool on all the servers on the network, the workstations with some infections found and deleted but the virus is still there.
It keeps poping-up on users workstations at regular intervals. it's becoming a nuisance to the end users.

I just finished installing win Xp on a Hp compaq 7400 and I installed the missing drivers from the Swset-up folder which I copied from the HDD before I started the installation.
To my surprise,the pointer started moving in a zig-zag form anytime I used the touchpad but worked normally with mouse. I tried to unintall some drivers,unistall synaptics pointing device driver but the touchpad wouldn't still work.I udated all drivers but to no avail.I then re-format the system and re-install the Win Xp but I was back to squre one after I finished installing the missing drivers from Swset-up folder that I had copied.
Can anyone bail me out of this problem pls.

I downloaded some testout (test sim ) iso files from torrentz.com for my MCITP exams preparatory excercise but I have not been able to access the content of the file 'cos it doesn't come with an activation key. Can some one please help me with the key or is there any other way to access the file?

Hi all,
Can anyone give me a hint on how to solve hp 7400 booting problem.Here is the problem :
Anytime I boot the system up,it keep showing an error box with
Smc.exe - Application error
the instruction at 0x00406ad0 referenced memory could not be read
click on ok to terminate the program
click on cancel to debug the program,

Upon clicking Ok or cancel,the system will just hang and will always not go beyond that.

Anyone with info on how to bypass a proxy server(ISA server 2006) should kindly help me with the hint.The situation in my place is so serious that even the famous facebook has been blocked, likewise torrents files .
The most painful of all is the torrent files that are now been blocked by the ISA server. Pls you guys should come to my aid by giving me info on how to blind the proxy.

I encountered a problem while trying to downgrade my Toshiba system that came with a win vista to Xp. The error message was that the SATA hard disk wasn't powered on while the win Xp installation was initializing. I got a clue on disabling the Native SATA from the bios setting but unfortunately I coudn't see the option to disable it in the system bios .

Pls any idea on the way out?
