Good day everyone ..Please it’s really urgent, for someone that has a history of TB in the past, IOM asked for a sputum test after the chest x ray was done..please does anyone have an idea if sputum test result in IOM takes less than the 10 weeks stated?
Also, is it advisable to use another clinic on the uk tb website, like Q-life.. if the result will come out faster? Please it’s urgent as 10 weeks is really far or there’s no choice than to wait? Better still do they give like a letter in IOM to show that the person is free but a further test has to be done because the person has a history of TB in the past?

Hello @Ruth1212 I recently went for my TB test @ St Nicholas hospital and the result showed some Kind of bacteria in my lungs so I was advised to do a sputum culture and sputum AFB test for 3 consecutive days which I finished yesterday but will have to wait 9 weeks for the result. I seriously doubt I have TB because I passed my Canada IRCC Medicals just few months ago without issues.

Is it possible I book another TB test at Q-Life despite having done one at St Nicholas and awaiting the results of the Sputum Test.

Keep sending them emails and web forms, you have everyright to do so cos your application has passed the recommended processing time of 13 weeks.

Send 10 emails per day (If you feel it's too much, you can keep waiting).

Do not just send to Nairobi, send to London, Lagos, and Accra.

Also emphasize the bolded, if possible screenshot where the school made mention of this and attach it with your mail and web form..

Once your passport is stamped and returned to you, your Letter of Introduction should be in your portal..

In rare cases like this, you will have to send multiple emails and webforms to the different IRCC centers (not just Nairobi) until the letter is dropped in your profile..

What can I do to expedite my application sir?
Applied since July 3, only biometrics and upfront medicals passed. Since then I've not heard anything from IRCC.. I've sent several webforms and only get generic replies... Contacted an MP too and I was told they can't be of help as I am outside of Canada.

My school has given a deadline of Dec 1st to upload Study Permit else my admission will be withdrawn.

Did upfront medicals... it took them two good months to update it on the portal.
Eligibility hasn't even started, i've raised several web forms since then but keep getting generic responses. i've mailed several MP's too but they keep saying they cant render any assistance since i am outside Canada. Got a mail from my school on the 1st of NOV saying if i dont get my study permit by DEC 1st my offer will be withdrawn and my tuition deposit refunded. And the school doesnt offer Deferals
