hi guys, i have some questions for those who succesfully got admission to electrical engineering,the questions are much but i will take it bit by bit. I always want to know all the info about a particular thing before going into it so as not to run into problem (it could be finance etc) since i have had experience in school before i wouldnt want to make those mistake again, that is why i want to make findings first before proceeding and i dont want to miss this year's admission. My plan is to apply for DE in futminna though i have not yet regularized my previous admission this is because jamb have not yet commenced regularization. But hoping that they begin this month so that it will be ready next month, there are other things that are not ready yet but i hope they be ready then. My questions now;
1.how is the DE exams i.e the pattern, is it just based on the course of study or outside
2. How many DE aspirants are usually per department. since there already admitted student in the class so there will be limit

Please any present year 1 electrical engineering student should indicate. Thanks.

Please could someone help me with the required hints to succesfully track a satellite without sat tracker, i have tried everything to no avail i think i am missing some basics so am here for assistance. I have 2 strong decoders (srt4663x and strong view4955) and i wanted to track intelsat 20 i first conected the dish to the 4663x receiver (though there is a diseqc switch inbetween) i was able to track intelsat20 12722h@26657...m/s and got upto 90% signal and 68-70% quality but the rest of the other frequencies remained at red (20% quality but up 89% signal) i even adjusted the alignment, azimuth and skew of the dish and lnb but no improvement. I switched the decoder to 4955 and this one was even the worst, signal was up to 90 but quality was 0% (i dont know if the unit is defective). the main transponder i want to receive is 12562h@30000ms, i want to also know if 4663x doesnt support this tp. This is a very big wahala caused by covid19. Any clue when it will be available? They want me to miss D.E. Form but i cannot miss admission dis year.

Please knows if jamb offices are ready for regularization cos they told me that regularization is on hold.

About the Education part, what if you didn't write your waec in the secondary school you went to or the waec you wrote there wasn't good enough and you rewrote the following year in another school or maybe it took 3 sittings (3 years) to get your complete subjects either because of absent or cancelled subject. My question now is; when filling the 'secondary school attended' option, which one are you to fill? Also which year? If asked from when you got admission to when you graduated. Thank you.

sorry o, it happened to me last year when i thought i just need to buy the d.e. Form from my school without buying jamb d.e., when i read thru the requirement (for getting the form) i found that i had to provide my jamb d.e. Slip, it was already too late by then cos jamb had already closed registration.

JAMB DE form is closed?? I thought JAMB DE comes out after the JAMB UTME examination, and JAMB UTME just did there exam. So I was expecting after the exam JAMB DE for would come out.

they've closed. They usually sell it together and close sales together.

if you didnt buy your jamb d.e. form i'm sorry its to late, you will have to wait till next year when jamb starts selling form. If you have already gotten the form, good for you. One abt DE is that jamb does not set any exams for d.e. Candidiates, when your institution of choice starts selling thier entrance form(for utme/d.e.) you go ahead and pick the form. This time depending on you school, there might be an exam or just screening.

I mistakenly bought utme pin instead of DE pin. I had no choice but to register for utme and convert it to DE later. Please is it compulsory for me to write the exam (utme) before converting it to DE?

bros its very very compulsory as jamb online support told me. Its like we are following thesame track so endeavour to update me in any information you hear.

Please i intend buying utme form and later converting it to d.e. My question is, will the institution choice i make during utme registration affect my d.e. during conversion.

first, I did regularization with my previous jamb no.
secondly, I received an email that my regularization has been approved, no new jamb pin.
also I've completed my DE registration, I provided my previous jamb no.
I came with my NCE and O'level results only.

this is what i was told
You can apply for DE with awaiting result but can't apply for DE without having a previous JAMB registration number and the registration number must have a JAMB admission letter or you will have to do the regularization first.

I registered yesterday, it was just my class of degree and matric Number that was used. Also my ssce and jamb reg number were useful.

is like each jamb centre have thier pattern of registration, is like yours is different from Paullardricky's experience. Did they tell you to do any other thing later?

My problem now is, i have not gone to my school for clearance and as it stands i dont even know my final GP, But i am suggesting is either lower or upper credit. if i am asked can i tell them the one i suggest then by ending of this month after i have completed my clearance i now correct it online. Cos i really dont want to miss that form.
Also to those that have registered, have you done the jamb regularisation? Were you asked for it?

de exam is one of the most simple exam in futminna most people pass it some people even score 400 /400 but it is very competitive because most people pass ,so if u are not from the catchment area u have to score more than 300 especially if your course is competitive. As for the requirements ask google or check jamb brochure

sir i am suggesting you've been a student there, i want to ask you a question about the d.e. Exams. Some websites are saying that the exams is general not based on your course of study, another website is saying that we will use thesame subject combination as that of our jamb, i dont know which one to follow, please throw more lights.
