Politics / Re: APC NWC Backs Okocha, Ignores Court Judgment On Rivers Chairman by ddippset(m): 7:05am On Aug 16
stanisbaratheon:
This was the same leadership issues that made them allow Wike to run unopposed in Rivers State in the 2019 elections, making him start seeing himself as King Kong in the state today.
There is no internal leadership issue here.

Emeka Beke was validly elected Chairman.

Then Ganduje, Tinubu and Wike connived to remove him because they wanted to get at Amaechi.

The issue is that simple!

Sentiment apart Jay Jay was good but really overrated

If you think with your anus quote me grin

He wasn't overrated.

He was a very skilful midfielder...

I believe the world would have appreciated him more if he had a white skin.

Africa always had great strikers and defenders but very few midfielders..

I can't think of any African Attacking midfielder that was better than Jay Jay.

Rivers politicians are locked in a frantic battle to see who kisses Tinubu asss the deepest,
and be in his good books due to the crises.

Fubara is doing all he can to please Tinubu.
Wike is doing all he can to please Tinubu.
Tony Okocha is doing all he can to please Tinubu.

They are competing for Tinubu's love, with all parties trying to prove to Tinubu that they love him most.

Politics / Re: NOA: Prosecution Of Woman Who Tore Passport Will Serve As Deterrent To Others by ddippset(m): 6:14am On Aug 13
UselessBuharist:
This woman should be prosecuted accordingly, her intention was to strand her husband in Nigeria then she goes back and start f*cking all the young men she has been dying to sleep with.

If it’s for clout, she and her husband should be taught a lesson because the husband’s permit is not on that passport.

Why didn’t she tear the husband’s Italian document?
What a stupid comment!

KingOfTheDamned:
Such women end up widows early because the husband will loose his will to live and just die in his sleep one day out of depression.
Lol

I don't know why so many of you are getting all emotional about this.

You people have been equating this woman to the devil himself just for tearing a passport!!
Lol.

Do you know what men go through everyday in marriage?

Tell the truth, Is this woman worse than women married women who sleep with other men?

Is she worse than women who destroy their husbands car windscreens or mirrors?

Is she worse than women who beat up their husbands?

Is she even worse than women who even fight with their husbands?

Let me even put it to you that this woman is not worse than those who verbally throw insults and abuses on their husbands.

Not saying what she did is bad but her action has been excessively exaggerated like she's worse than every regular bad wife out there.

So can we say that altering a passport is the same as destroying one?

If the passport the woman tore up was her own personal passport would it be a crime?
I doubt so!

So I guess at best she is guilty of destroying another person's property/item.

Now is that an offence liable for a jail term?

Before the end of the week, another court of coordinate jurisdiction in Abuja will order Tony Okocha to go back to office.
An Abuja Federal High court which is equal to this court will give this judgement.

Thank me later for this privileged information.

Sowore is hiding under protest to show his presidential election failure using ignorant ones to die like fowls. He could not even pronounce "5-minutes standing ovation for those that died in like fowls for nothing. He hides his family and children abroad asking ignorant ones to protest. How many solutions have previous protest solved than increasing more hardship and promote death?

Every organizer including Sowore must make sure his 10 family members including himself, his wife, all his children and extended family members must be flown to Nigeria to lead the protest for us. Those people that their family members died in the just concluded protest are in mourning mood and those arrested are abandoned to rotten behind police cells without any standing ovation for them. They are now on their own, if you allow Sowore to shorten your life span through senseless protest, blame your senseless brain.

Try to see their 10 family members each protesting before you joy, otherwise; if you join and you died willingly or by accidental discharge, I owe you no "RIP" because you purposely made your choice to commit self-suicide. Be warned and be wise!
You wrote a full essay like someone contesting for 2024 Cowbell Essay competition
but nowhere in your long epistle of shamelessness, did you make even a short paragraph to chide the Government for being opposed to peaceful protests and always sending thugs and police to be unfriendly to protesters.
Not even one simple sentence in your long essay to condemn it.

So easy to identify willing slaves in a forum like this.

Someone like you, if you were around in the era of slave trade, you would have begged the slave masters from Europe to carry you and your family.
By begging oohh.

We should stop playing to the gallery and streamline the demands to;

1. Reintroduce fuel subsidy until at least two refineries start working at full capacity and we can buy fuel for #200.

2. Increase the minimum wage to #100,000.

3. Improve security across all farming communities especially in Northern Nigeria so that farmers can go back to farms.

These 3 are very realistically okay for now.

If we think about it critically and devoid of sentiments there must be a genuine reason why she was disqualified.

I believe the judges are South Africans they could very easily have voted against her and not allow her win if the country had anything personal against her.

They would have let her contest but never let her win, if they wanted to.

Politics / Re: BREAKING: Organizers Announce Date For Resumption Of Hunger Protests by ddippset(m): 7:44pm On Aug 10
These people should be serious and reduce the minimum wage demand to 120k.

Then drop the Nnamdi Kanu demand.

Just 2 demands of Reversal of fuel subsidy until 2 refineries work and then 150k minimum wage would show more seriousness.

I prefer Kamala to Trump but even Trump could pull those crowds in those cities.

So it's still not a yardstick.

Politics / Re: Economy My Priority Now, Tinubu Tells Anyaoku, Others Seeking New Constitution by ddippset(m): 6:04am On Aug 10
Philipponzaghi:
Tinubu is on the right track! Focusing on economic reform first is a strategic move. A strong economy lays the foundation for any constitutional review. Let's give him time to implement these changes; prosperity will follow. Unity and stability are key, and it seems he's committed to that vision for Nigeria!
Do you know how many people would have died within that "time" you want us to give him?

Abi you don't care because you are okay enough, for the death not to affect you or your family member?

All these idiots shouting give him time, give him time!

Do you know how many people are dying daily of hunger and because drugs have become more expensive?

Give him time! Give him time!!

You think time is cheap?

You would only know that time is expensive if your family member dies because of time.

If Wike truly has any legacies it will shine out.

Nobody needs to defend legacy or fight for legacy.

I'm sure this type of continuous cussing, and nagging, and insulting of Nigeria fills Nigeria athletes over in Paris with great confidence. I'm sure It helps imbue them with the little confidence they need to do just a little beter than they otherwise might have given whatever unfortunate circumstances you believe they endured before going to Paris.

I'm sure you belly aching is not an additional burden on whatever they are bearing as Nigerians.
Stay dia and be speaking English while leaders in Nigeria Sports continue to loot monies meant for sports development and talents harnessing.

My criticism was mainly directed at our Sports authority and ministry, which can never do without a scandal at International Sports events, not the performers and sports men and women...

From owing players' salaries to nepotism in selection to bribery to embezzling funds meant for sports development..

That's the new swansong for Tinubu apologists::

"Hold Governors responsible"

Governors removed the subsidy but cannot get a single refinery working.

Governors mounted the podiums during campaign and proclaimed "Vote for me as President, I will fix the economy"

Governors promised to reduce the exchange rate to below #300 per $.

Governors are spending extravagantly by allocating billions to first lady, renovating for 21 billion, buying Presidential aircrafts, appointing the highest ministers in history.

Yeah blame the Governors!
