Is it not better you call the Nigeria's official number of Speedaf?

Funny enough, I couldn't get through to them on the phone.

Why would Nipost hand over your item to speedaf?

I don't think they have yet. If that's what they did, those post officers would have me to contend with. Cuz I won't leave the office without a fight. And if not, Speedaf wouldn't have pleasure delivering my next parcel

Men in the house, is it okay to order an iPhone from Aliexpress ?

Yes it is. Just make sure the seller has a minimum of 4.5 stars, to be on the safe side. Also check feedback from others who purchased the same product you have in mind on the page. Happy shopping wink

Okay .

Has your own arrived?

It hasn't. I've been at the seller's neck and he gave me a phone number which he said is the customs number. But when I called it was unobtainable. I did my research and found the number to be owned by EMS SPEED POST. An affiliate of the dreaded NIPOST. I'll give them a call tomorrow, so I'll know when it would be handed over to Speedaf. They close by 4pm daily

It's Speedaf and tracking number ends with R.

Same here. It usually isn't supposed to take more the 2 weeks as clearly stated in this forum. Even with the holidays

What's your estimated time of delivery?

14th January I think
Technology Market / Re: This Thread Is Only For Aliexpress Shopper by Ddmon: 1:11pm On Jan 03, 2022
I seriously don't understand why my tracking info hasn't been updated for about a week now. I placed this order on the 12th of December and it still hasn't been delivered

Item arrived at delivery sorting centre, and i can no longer track it.

Just be patient. It should get to you as early as this week. Or later next week.

I'm guessing, Speedaf?

the speedaf website is fine too, just when did customs start your clearance? What date and what item?

26th December 2021 by 17:31 . According to what is on the website.

actually not normal .. customs cleared the last batch of speedaf shipments I think yesterday or the day before which took 3days. so check on the speedaf app and not AliExpress.

I think I'll have to use the app. I've actually been using both AliExpress and speedaf's website

Oh, I see the loophole they exploited. That's really bad, a Google search of their company can show this bad review. The world is now a pretty small place. I guess left for me to recommend, I'd suggest you let it go, as it may not worth further efforts to keep pursuing it. Better luck next time.

I think I'll just let it slide. But I'll leave my reviews on their pages. Thanks everyone.

By the way, I'm expecting a shipment from speedaf, but the last tracking info I've had since the last 5 days is that, it is still being cleared by customs.

Please anyone with a similar experience?

I don't understand, why did they refund ₦36k for a ₦150k phone? Did you under declare the value of the phone? Also, why did you accept the ₦36k they paid? Or is there some terms and condition by the said "insurance" to pay some percentage of the value of the product in the event of a loss? This does not feel right to me.

If you take it up legally, you'd surely pay more than ₦150k. I've once spent ₦500k on a legal case involving ₦10k (not trying to get the ₦10k back but to get the person involved in the deal freed). It's simply crazy how frustrating slow the legal system in Nigeria is and how some crooked lawyers benefit off it.

The 36k they refunded was the value written on the receipt. Reason is this: I won The bid I placed on the auction of $74 at 420/$1 that time. Now, they stated that their insurance policy can only cover , the cost of the item as declared, including shipping fees. Not including customs duty at a rate of 405/$1.

Whereas, I paid 22,000 naira as both shipment and customs duty.

Then I told them, I'm not really interested in money, that I just need the phone. They insisted that, that's the policy of their insurance company. I even gave them over a month to still look for the item.

I don't mind anyone putting me through the process. I just want that phone or an exact replacement. But I need guidelines and a total estimate of how much it'll cost me

You were asked to pay customs and handling fees which you did, according to your narration. So its not possible for customs to again seize an item you've already cleared from them, except they later discover it to be contraband.

So it's either the money you sent to Ace logistics for customs clearing was not paid to customs and so the item remained uncleared and eventually seized or someone along the way after customs clearing decided to steal your package (after discovering it was a mobile phone) and then gave you a wrong lead/tracking number to a different item that has truly been delivered.

If you have evidence of payment of the monies for customs clearance, you must not let the gut of that ACE logistics test. Disturb their peace until they fish out your item or refund to you the item price money - look for what the actual price is, not minding its a gift - plus the customs clearing money (all join)

Thieves all over the place. Mstcheeeew!

.

Bro, I'm just confused. The amount they refunded for phone worth 150k in naija is 36k.

I kept quiet because, I don't have oil to grease the palm of NPF. I honestly feel cheated. I have all evidences of payments and proof of ownership.

I don't just like stress, but the stress I went through to secure that stuff to naija, with all my sleepless nights, coupled with the unfavorable naira to dollar rate, I don't think I'll let this slide.

I don't mind refunding the meagre 36k they paid as insurance. I'm not quite sure how to take up the case, and how much it'll cost me next year.

This happened 3 months ago, but still feels like yesterday

How did you know it was handed to them in the first place?

I was frequently communicating with Fortune Global through mails and phone calls. I also received a mail from ACE also.

It was ACE logistics A.k.a AFRICA COURIER EXPRESS that I queried when I didn't get a call from any despatcher. I troubled them till the extent that the Head of operations took up the issue. He was responsive, although I don't how it ended up missing when they confirmed to have received it in the mail they sent to me.

A neighbor heard the issue and suggested that it must have been siezed, by Customs

It shows delivery successful. But I've contacted them and they claim not to have found it in any of their warehouses or dispatch centers in Nigeria

Hi everyone, I need some experts on this issue I've had with Fortune Global shipping logistics and I think, The Nigerian customs service.

It's a lengthy write up but I'll shorten it.

I shipped an item I won on ebay through Myus.com. Myus.com shipped through Fortune Global, and I was informed of its arrival in Nigeria by Fortune Global.

I was asked to pay customs VAT and duties. After payment, the item, a smartphone actually, was given to Ace Logistics to ship directly to my address.

Till today, I haven't gotten my parcel.

Could it be that it was seized by customs?

Because I don't understand how it Got Missing in transit .

It's no news that Bitcoin, one of the most popular cryptocurrencies in the world amassed a peak of $60,000 to 1 coin in 2021.

From the onset in 2009, everyday people had the opportunity to mine a large amount of this cryptocoin per minute. But, no one saw its value. No one thought that 10 years after it's creation, it would become one of the most valuable crypto asset in the world.

People, with the opportunity to mine the coin for free now live in regret of missing such an opportunity that happens once in a lifetime.

Now, Stanford university PHD's led by Dr Nicholas decided to create 'their' crypto coin called PI NETWORK. And it's ecosystem is programmed to overtake Bitcoin, and become the most valuable crypto asset in the world.

Pi, started as a university project in 2019, and has since amassed a total number of 29 million active users as at December 2021. The aim of pi, is to create a system where the currency can be used to purchase everyday goods and utilities (Electronics, phones, services......ETC). It would also be exchanged for other fiat currencies(USD, GBP....Etc)

According to the road map of pi, it is expected to transit from its testnet phase to mainnet Before the end of 2021. At this phase, the value of pi which is community driven, would be officially known.

Don't make the same mistake of doubting this project just like Bitcoin.

Join today, as it would be launched in a few days.

All you have to do to be part, is to download the PI NETWORK on Plays store Or App Store, Sign up with your Full name, as registered on your Government issued ID (PVC,NIN Slip, DL.....) To avoid stories that touch, and, click the 'Mine' Button every 24hrs. Hurry now!!!

After it is launched into mainnet, there would be no mining. And pi would only be exchanged for fiat currency from march 2022 or June 2022, as stated in its roadmap.

Feel free to ask any questions, as we would be willing to assist.
