Let me start by saying, I am impressed by NYSC information handler, ever since the announcement of orientation camp for 10th November 2020, they been releasing graphic design of questions and answers. That is great especially knowing that NYSC has not been responsive in the past.

Now, incase you don't know, you can ask your questions in the comments section or of any of their social media and it has higher likelyhood of getting an answer unlike before.

NYSC 2020 Batch B FAQ

FAQ 1
Question: What NYSC Batch is starting 10th November, 2020?
Answer: The Batch starting on 10th November, 2020 is 2020 Batch "B" Service Year. This replaces 2020 Batch 'A' Stream II

Answer: 2020 Batch 'B' Stream I A

Question: How do I know which Stream I belong to?
Answer: Keep checking your dashboard on the NYSC Portal

FAQ 4
Questions: When can I print my call-up letter?
Answer: You will be notified through your dashboard on the NYSC Portal.

FAQ 5
Questions: Are the 2020 Batch 'A' Stream l Corps Members coming back to the orientation camp?
Answer: Yes. You will be notified after 2020 Batch 'B' Stream l B

FAQ 6
Questions: How many days are we spending at orientation camps?
Answer: Three (3) weeks

FAQ 7
Questions: Will the NYSC portal be reopened for registration for the next Batch?
Answer: No. All registration for 2020 Batch 'B' has closed for now to enable the NYSC clear the backlog

FAQ 8
Questions: Can someone apply for correction of date of birth or can it be changed in the camp
Answer: You can only apply for correction of date of birth through your dashboard during online registration (check the NYSC website for more details). However, after registration in the orientation camp, you cannot change your date of birth

Question: Can I apply for name correction on my dashboard?
Answer: Yes.
Click on "Apply for Change of Name" link on your dashboard.
i. Spelling Errors

iv. Removal
Kindly note that your Student Affairs Officer will see the request for addition and removal of name, process and forward to NYSC for further action.

Let us go over the NYSC Oath we all made with our fatherland, as we look at it carefully


Let us start by saying NYSC Oath is the document signed by every prospective corp members or graduate at the orientation camp in front of the chief justice of each state


Note, that is why it is called swearing in, often, we only T&C and I agree or like politicians just say the words without a reminder of this life long oath to the people and our dear nation Nigerian


In pursuance of our Aspiration to build a United, Peaceful, Prosperous, Hate-free, Egalitarian Society and a great Nation and of our motto “Service and Humility”.

While not go for factory bagged 25kg, at this point let me say the rice I am using as an example is Tomato King Rice, produce by stallions group.

Conclusion
Let go back to our main discussion, this 25kg factory bagged rice is also going to fit into the model explained above, and it will produce the same result of saving your household some cost

Note, the economic suitation can be discouraging but don't be, just get affordable with 25kg before you maybe go back to 50kg bag. Resulting to buying congos is just going too down in the supply chain make a lot of middle that wants to profit from you short term purchase.

First thing the came to mind is to read carefully, because in this digital age, we are not reading anymore nor taking our time to understand or ask questions but only want to tick "I agree" and move on

My Thoughts
* .... Research, Statistics and Promotional activities
Is NYSC now Facebook or Google, and why promotions for a data I must give you, even Facebook and Google is optional.

* And why should there third party processors have access to my data, can't it all be managed in house?

* And my last thought is, nice that they gives access to withdraw consent of data, but why? (don't forget this data includes Serving corp members and Ex corp members)

Maybe because they want to start selling the data or running promotions with it
Why I am asking this, like I said earlier is that many will not see this and will not be able to withdraw there data usage, because I am sure this usage warning is not for NYSC normal mobilization and the likes usage, if so they will not have been giving out withdrawal form

In conclusion
At the moment, if you click do not agree, you will be logged out and if you log in, you will be re asked again. No form whatever. It makes me think;
Is it by force?
Why should anyone especially ex corp members want to accept this?
Is NYSC looking for other sources of revenue?

DON'T ACT AS IF YOU DON'T CARE, THAT WILL BE A GREAT IGNORANCE AS OUR DATA USAGE IS IMPORTANT AND THE NEW CURRENCY THIS AFFECT SERVING AND ALL THE EX CORP MEMBERS

Since the establishment of NYSC in May 1973, the scheme has only be completely disrupted once.

This post will not go deep into the education sector and how it will be affected or recover, to let us start by saying. This disruption has we all know is not intentional and infact some countries has declared second lockdown which for us we don't hope for such

1. No calendar; This calendar year has been quite unpredictable in many if not every sector, as even the tertiary education sector the feed the scheme as been paused
