You can get Male and female Azolla Spurs from Bic farms concepts... Also, the super phosphate for fertilizing the water is available.

It is commonly called mosquito fern or the super floating Organism but you should not hold that against Azolla filiculoides, a water fern that is no friend to the biting insect pests. Mosquito fern grows in moss-like mats on still water, spreading very rapidly in the temperate climates of U.S., india, and many other countries including Nigeria. The fern foliage can grow so dense that it crowds out mosquito larvae, giving the fern its common name. It also blocks sunlight from other water weeds and is used as inexpensive weed control in rice paddies in Asia. In the United States, it is a happy addition to backyard ponds with its attractive leaves and tendency to discourage algae growth.
I discover Azolla by share providence on my farm. From no where, I saw this plant covering my ponds at an alarming rate, I got furious and instructed my staff to clear them away. Little did I know that God was only trying to bless and give me a further answer/ solution to my concerns on how to reduce cost of feeding livestocks.

With Azolla, you can reduce your cost of feeding your birds, cows, pigs, goats, etc.... Azolla doubles in biomass every other day, and does'nt need land to do that. It simply grows without soil, and very fast....
To grow or propagate Azolla, you only need to get the male and female spurs which are not expensive at all. It can even be gotten free.

Presently, we use Azolla for making our fish and Rabbit feeds

Let's make some noise about it......... Hydroponically grown fodder is the way out, not the importation of grasses from Brazil.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Why Entrepreneurship Is Not The Solution To Unemployment In Nigeria by debtop(m): 4:34pm On Jan 24, 2016
I think you're wrong by your submission.
Everyone can be an entrepreneur. Have you ever seen people retiring in a country like Nigeria? People change jobs. You retire from your job to become an entrepreneur, so why not start as one? At all levels in an economy is an entrepreneur. Contracts are executed by entrepreneurs, the educational challenge in this country at all levels is been abated by entrepreneurs starting their own schools.
My brother, the gadget you wrote this write up on was produced by an entrepreneur. The annual budget on this nation is not up to the annual income of Microsoft or ExxonMobil. ...e.t.c.
So, I strongly believe that entrepreneurship is the key to fixing Nigeria's unemployment challenge.

12 Powerful Reasons Why You should Discard All Your Livestocks Feeds and Start Using Fresh HYDROPONICS Fodders in Nigeria:

In this write-up, I'm going to explain 12 Reasons why you should immediately discard your livestocks feeds and embrace hydroponics fodders. By saying livestock I mean Pigs, Poultry Birds, Turkey, Rabbits, Cows, Goats and Sheep.

But firstly,what is hydroponics?
Hydroponics is the act of growing plants without the use of soil, but just water as medium and liquid nutrients. The term Hydroponics is coined from Greek words-HYDRO,which means water, and PONIC, which means work. It is an age- long technology which dates back to the hanging gardens of Babylon. The commercial purpose of which is feeding livestock. This wonderful technology started in the1960s in Australia and has spread to the rest of the world ever since.
With hydroponics a livestock farmer can save over 40% on the cost of feeding his animals and so, make huge profits ,this greatly surpassing the days of just getting by which has sadly been the order of the day.

The following are 12 powerful reasons why you should discard all other forms of feed and settle down with Hydroponics Technology fodders for your animals.

(1) Increment in the mass of feed within a short period of time. i.e 1kg of maize, sorghum, millet, and wheat can be converted to 10kg of fodders within 9days, and the "digestibility" from about 25% to around 95%.

(2) Faster weight gain in livestock. With it, animals like pigs can gain about 10kg per month!

(3) Higher quality meat with better texture and taste. Broilers, pigs, beef, goats and rabbits taste better and have very minimal fats in their body.

(4) Improved milk production in Dairy, Goats and Sheep.

(5) Better and richer lactation for nursing mothers in Pigs, cattle, sheep, goats, and rabbits, leading to higher survival rate of offsprings.

(6) Saves over 60% from the cost of feeding livestocks, which invariably leads to about 40% savings in production cost.

(7) It does not need electricity to function, making it suitable for rural or off grid farms.

(cool Requires very little space and time to produce. You can produce about 10,000kg of Fresh Feed in just about 14m2 (square meters) in 6-9 days, as against 100kg conventionally in 12 weeks. That's about 1000% increment.

(9) Better quality eggs with deeper yolk colour and enhanced egg taste in Poultry.

(10) Improved health in all livestocks, which leads to massive saving on medications.

(11) Save about 20% on feeding your fishes.

(12) Learn how to convert you waste and spent fish water to asset and make millions from it.
The above are just few of the advantages of hydroponics Soiless Farming. There are many more advantages that can be gotten from this technology......
