PoliticsWhat Braimoh Has To Say About Buhari’s Ministerial Nominees by Decentupdate(op): 3:23pm On Jul 25, 2019
Mr Tunde Braimoh, Lagos lawmaker has described President Muhammadu Buhari’s ministerial nominees as priceless assets to his government.

The second term lawmaker, while counteracting to Buhari’s 43 ministerial nominees which was submitted to the Senate for screening on Tuesday, said, “This robust team is no doubt a priceless asset to the Buhari presidency”. He went further to say that “The new federal cabinet of Nigeria comprised suitably qualified men and women of requisite knowledge and proven cognate experience

“The list contains people who are accomplished in various walks of life.
“It is an offshoot of the defunct cabinet, re-engineered with some new vibrant inclusions to replace the waning old hands, thereby renewing the capacity and productivity.”

He said: “Leadership they say is by example and not by precepts.
“Leadership in this sense is the dog and the executive council, the tail. It is the dog that wags the tail and not vice versa.
“Whatever we say about President Buhari, it is a consensus that he’s neither corrupt nor corruptible; therefore, any member of his council who dares to be different does so at his or her own peril.”

PoliticsPoliticians Carry Drugs In Braanded Vehicles In Anambra’ by Decentupdate(op): 5:17pm On May 17, 2019
A group with the inscription , Human Rights Liberty Access and Peace Defenders Foundation (HURIJE) has blamed politicians in Anambra state of using branded vehicles to peddle hard drugs and other harmful products.
The group therefore requested for Police to implement its decision of impounding such unmarked vehicles of political parties in the state.
The state Commissioner of Police, Mustapha Dandaura, had earlier this week ordered the arrest and prosecution of persons using unmarked/tinted and masked vehicles without authorization from June 1.
The Board of Trustees’ chairman of HURIJE, Dede Uzor Uzor, in a statement on Friday in Awka, also accused the politicians of using the customised party vehicles to perpetrate heinous crimes.
He said, “We commend the State Police Command for this bold move and urge them not to relent in implementing this policy to its logical conclusion.
“Some of them use it to carry prohibited and regulated and hard drugs as well as other harmful products that constitute dangers to the society and human families.
“They sometimes use the vehicles to constitute traffic nuisance on the roads with their recklessness and other glaring traffic violations.
“There should be no sacred cows on the prosecution of offenders. Those arrested should not be spared.”
Uzor who also lauded police decision to deal with security men escorting vehicles with covered number plates, said the move would not only reduce crime in the state, but also reduce the security personnel intimidation on members of the public.

PoliticsJudiciary- One Of The Most Important Facets Of The Administration Of Justice Sec by Decentupdate(op): 3:43pm On May 17, 2019
Anyone who is sincere about the justice delivery sector will agree that obsolete and dilapidated court halls, poor infrastructure and uncomfortable work environment contribute in no small way to the quantity and quality of judgements in our courts.
Proudly, I announce that Imo State has joined the big league of the few States in the federation that have given its judicial officers a disability compliant 21st century judicial complex.
Courtesy of the unmatchable political will of HERO THE HERO, yesterday the 15th day of May 2019, a brand new Justice Oputa Judicial Complex located in New Owerri was delivered for ease of work in the judiciary.
This is what it is live and direct and no more what it should or what it ought to be.
It was a harvest of goodwill for the Governor, admiration and galaxy of solidarity speeches for Imo State judiciary from the Justices of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and the the Court of Appeal, the Chief Judges of States and their brother judges, lawyers, traditional rulers, journalists and other stakeholders.
I happily join the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, Honourable Justice Dr. Tanko Mohammed, who commissioned the Ultra Modern Justice Oputa High Court Comple to congratulate Imo State Chief Judge on behalf of his brother Judges and Magisteracy for having this happen in his tenure as the CJ of Imo State.
Hon. Justice Amina Augie, JSC, representing the Acting CJN on the occasion commended Imo people and the able Imo Governor for the wonderful edifice. These are My Lord’s exact words on that historic occasions-
“We thank God for the vision given to His Excellency, Governor Rochas Okorocha that came to fruition in the realization of this wonderful court complex. I doubt if there is any state in this country that has a High Court Complex as magnificent as this one.
For this, we thank GOD for His Excellency, the Governor of Imo State, we thank God for the Judges of Imo State and we thank God for the people of Imo State who are going to benefit from this complex after the commissioning. The complex is so comfortable that it will enable judges to relax and do their jobs well and give justice without fear, favour or ill will.
A visibly elated Chief Judge of Imo State and man of history, Justice Nnadi in his speech said verbatim-
“The event of today, which is the official and ceremonial commissioning of the new Justice Chukwudifu Akunne Oputa High Court Complex marks a major milestone in the annals of the history of the Judiciary of Imo State Nigeria.
This edifice and world class master architecture was solely conceived, designed and erected by the Rescue Mission Administration of His Excellency, Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha, the Governor of Imo State of Nigeria…This is coming at a time when the Judiciary in the State is in dire need of such accommodation and facility for the execution of their legal duties.
The Commissioning of this Complex today will go a long way to reduce the threatening suffocating situation of insufficient court facilities which for many gave rise to the uncomfortable situation which we have found ourselves in where High Court Judges share one Court Hall.”
KUDOS to the Bar and Bench in Imo State and as HERO THE HERO said on this occasion, let our good works continue to live after us.
Proudly proud of being part and parcel of this historic and landmark occasion.
A new normal is possible!
Prof Obiaraeri, N.O.

PoliticsWike Blames G.O.C OF Running Oil Bunkering Team by Decentupdate(op): 1:03pm On May 16, 2019
Governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike, has accused the General Officer Commanding 6 Division of the Nigerian Army, Major General Jamil Sarhem, of running an illegal oil bunkering squad for the purpose of financing his (Sarham) quest to be appointed the Chief of Army Staff.
Wike warns that any attempt to appoint the G.O.C of the 6 Division of the Nigerian Army as the Chief of Army Staff would spell doom for the nation’s failing security architecture.
The governor spoke on Wednesday during a courtesy visit by the Commander, Joint Task Force Operation Delta Safe, Real Admiral Akinjide Akinrinade, at the Government House, Port Harcourt.
According to him, “The G.O.C is doing illegal bunkering, which he is using to finance his quest to emerge as the country’s Chief of Army Staff. He has his own team that is making money for him through oil bunkering.”
Wike also accused the GOC of compromising security in Rivers State through illegal actions.
“We will have a security meeting and he will release the details to criminals, and the Chief of Army Staff will leave the man here because he is playing their role.
“How will the security of the state be with such a man as the GOC? He will compromise when fighting to reduce crime. They sent us a GOC who destroyed the security architecture of the state.”
Wike wondered what the Joint Task Force Operation Delta Safe would do when they encountered the illegal oil bunkering team of the GOC.
He said that Rivers people stopped the GOC and his accomplices from imposing a governor on the state during the elections.

PoliticsNew Emirs: Court Orders Ganduje, Emir Sanusi To Maintain Status Quo by Decentupdate(op): 12:20pm On May 16, 2019
Kano High court presided over by Justice Nasiru Saminu has ordered Governor Abdullahi Ganduje and Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi ll to maintain status quo irrespective of the interim order issued against the governor on May 10.
Justice Saminu issued an order that all the parties in the suit are to maintain the status quo, pending the hearing of motion on notice.
The court also ruled that the order issued on May 10, restraining Kano state Government from appointing four new Emirates in the state was still subsisting, pending the determination of the motion on notice.
According to reports court had through the ex-parte application by the applicant, Rabiu Gwarzo restrained Ganduje and all other respondents in the case from appointing or recognising any purported emir under the Kano state Emirs Appointment And Disposition Amendment Law 2019, pending the hearing of motion on notice.
Earlier, Counsel to the applicant, Abubakar Mahmud, SAN, informed the court that the respondents have not complied with the court order earlier issued,
He explained that the appointment and presentation of staff of office to the four new emirs were made on May 13 and May 14 after they were restrained on May 10.
Mahmud says obeying court order, is the duty and obligations upon all respondents.
However in his response, counsel to Governor Ganduje, the Commissioner For Justice, Mr Ibrahim Mukthar, said the purported appointment and recognition of four new Emirates were completed actions by the Governor and All Respondents.
He argued that the processes of amending the Emirs Appointment Law, Gazette and Assented were all done before the restraining order was issued against the respondents.
The commissioner also argued that the court lacked legal power to reverse any completed action.

Politics2019 Elections: Uk Spends £795 Million On # Nottooyoungtorun Movement – Envoy by Decentupdate(op): 3:53pm On May 07, 2019
The United Kingdom had spent £795 million to prosecute the #NotTooYoungToRun movement, the British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Catriona Laing, said on Tuesday.
According to Information gathered , #NotTooYoungToRun movement led to the emergence of young legislators in the just-concluded 2019 elections
The Envoy also encouraged incoming legislators to support each other, particularly the relatively few females among them because “Nigeria will not move forward if the space for women’s engagement is not widened.”
According to her, while the UK would continue to support Nigeria in its determination for the emergence of young leaders, 75 per cent of those they supported won the 2019 election.
Laing stated these in Abuja during a programme organised by YIAGA Africa with support from UKAid and with the theme: “The Convergence 2.0: Nigeria’s largest gathering of young elected Representatives”, in support of the #NotTooYoungToRun Bill.
She said, “We supported the NotTooYoungToRun movement with £795 million to be precise and we will continue to support you. It is outstanding that 75 per cent of those we supported won the election. What matters is the future of Nigeria.
“I am extremely proud to be here, looking at nearly 300 young political representatives, reflecting the wave of energy and exuberance that has entered the Nigerian political space. Last December when UKaid supported the original Convergence, there were over 400 candidates. Approximately 75 per cent of that first cohort was elected, which is a remarkable feat.
“You have moved from ‘Not Too Young To Run’ to being ‘Ready to Run’, now it’s time to contribute. Your presence in this inaugural group of young representatives is about Nigeria’s future; it’s about inclusion, it’s political participation. It is really about how young people will lead the way and, specifically, how you will lead the way.
“This is why the UK has been a proud supporter of this movement, and we will continue to support you as long as you are prepared to lead. Your growth as political representatives will determine how much progress is made in all areas of life in Nigeria. So you now have a responsibility to engage in the state and federal legislatures on issues which affect the people who voted for you.
“You will make the laws and policies which will affect education, health, the economy, security, women, People Living With Disabilities – and remember, somebody championed the law which made it possible for you to run for office! The responsibility is on your shoulder to ensure that integrity, fairness, inclusion, and accountability become the hallmarks of your tenure.
“You might have needed support in order to contest the 2019 elections but, come 2023, be prepared to run on your own record of achievements. There will be days when you feel discouraged or you feel things are not changing quickly enough. The challenges facing Nigeria did not materialise overnight, so neither will the solutions. Be determined to be part of the change, however incremental it is.
“I also want to encourage you to support each other, particularly the relatively few females among you. Nigeria will not move forward if the space for women’s engagement isn’t widened. You now hold a special place in Nigeria’s history, but you need to decide whether you are content just being the first young group of representatives’, or you would rather be the first wave of change that brought a new dimension to Nigerian politics.
“This is the beginning of a journey. International partners such as the UK can only support you, but the responsibility is yours to take Nigeria to the next level.
“I wish you all the very best in the years ahead.”

PoliticsBuhari Must Deal With Overambitious Apc Members Before 2023, Says El-rufai by Decentupdate(op): 1:42pm On May 07, 2019
The Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, has blamed the internal crisis in the All Progressives Congress in the build-up to the 2019 general elections on the desperation of some members who are positioning themselves ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
El-Rufai, while regretting that the APC lost some states to the opposition on account of the inordinate ambitions of some members of the party, argued that it was wrong for the APC members to be scheming ahead of 2023, when President Muhammadu Buhari’s second term had not even taken off.
He said:Buhari must be firm and deal decisively with those ambitious members who might make his second term in office difficult for him.
El-Rufai made this known in Ikoyi, Lagos on Saturday during an interactive session with members of The Bridge Club, who are mainly businessmen and captains of industries.

He went further to say, “There were a lot of internal crises in the APC; those crises had nothing to do with the 2019 elections; they were all about positioning for 2023. You know politicians can be very strategic; as illiterate as some of them can be, they are very strategic, they can think far ahead of you.
“So, those 2023 aspirations had been busy at work, creating pockets of support that had unintended consequences. I can mention a few states that we lost because of these kinds of aspirations. Some of the things led to unintended consequences and we paid for it. It is my view that President Muhammadu Buhari must be firm and decisive in dealing with these overambitious elements that will make his second term difficult from day one unless curtailed. The President has to be very decisive in dealing with such people.”
He argued that until the political elite, across party lines, had a conversation and agreed on the country’s ideology and goal, Nigeria would not make any progress.
“As you know, whether there is Brexit or not in the UK, there are certain questions that the elite in the UK have accepted as a given. Whether they belong to the Labour, Conservative or Social Democratic party, some things never change; the same with the Democrats and the Republicans in the US. Russia is an enemy, whoever is in power. Whoever is in power, China is a threat. This is what elite consensus is all about.
“Here in Nigeria, our elite have not even agreed on who are our friends; who are our enemies; what are the irreducible minimum that we all must agree upon that no matter what type of government or leader we have, we must, for instance, agree that we must give every child in Nigeria free basic education. We must agree with that. Every human being in Nigeria is entitled to universal health care.

We must agree on these things. Whoever is the President, whoever is the governor continues to pursue these goals. The nuances of how to achieve the goals may differ from party to party but the goals will remain. We have not had that conversation and I believe it is time we began to have it.”

“All the projects that I met as a minister, I have been completing them; so, it doesn’t really matter because whoever becomes the next minister of Science and Technology will complete the projects we started.

“Besides, the Director-General of the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI), Dr Mohammed Jibrin’s second term has just been renewed and so, he will ensure that the project is completed and inaugurated.

He commended, Chief Austine Edeze, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Ebonyi and member of the community for mobilizing the people to donate land for the project.
The minister also inspected work at the National Research Institue for Chemical Technology (NRICT), located in Amasiri, Afikpo North Local Government Area of Ebonyi.
He also assured residents of the community of commitment of the Buhari led administration to complete the ongoing project in the area.
He said that the institute would create job opportunities and fast track development in the community. He noted that the institute is only two in the South-East geopolitical zone, stressing that chemical technology was very important in scientific research and development.
“Whether you are going to space, whether you are going to the oceans, whatever thing you are doing, be it medicine or infrastructure development there must be elements of chemicals.
“So, you can see how important the research institute is and for the South-East, they are only two stations.

PoliticsIgbo Is The Most Misrepresented Ethnic Group In Nigeria – Okorocha by Decentupdate(op): 1:45pm On May 03, 2019
The embattled Governor of Imo state Governor Rochas Okorocha has said that “the problem with our country Nigeria is that they don’t understand the people called Igbo. Igbo, according to him are the most misrepresented ethnic group in Nigeria. It’s only the Igbo amongst all other ethnic groups that can go to any other culture and settle to develop that culture”.
This statement was made as President Muhammadu Buhari praised the efforts of traditional rulers in the country over their role during and after the 2019 elections, adding that the peace that existed could not be over-emphasized as a result of the functions the traditional rulers performed.

Governor Rochas Okorocha while addressing the people stated that “The problem with our Country Nigeria is that they don’t understand the people called Igbos. Igbos, if I must describe us are the most misrepresented ethnic group in Nigeria. It’s only the Igbos amongst all other ethnic groups that can go to any other culture and settle to develop that culture”.
The Governor added “The Igbo man is the one who will hardly come back home to his grassroot without leaving a lasting impression of good development in the place he is living. But Nigerians have taken this for weakness. And that’s why at every side they’re chased from pillar to post as if they’re not part of the entity called Nigeria”.

PoliticsThe East Can’t Survive Without The North: What Do You Think by Decentupdate(op): 5:44pm On Apr 23, 2019
Northern Nigeria

The north has been labeled as a place where insecurity is known for. First boko haram which have rendered a lot of people homeless.

The Fulani herdsmen has made sleep to elude people whenever they said think of going to the north or middle birth region. For instance Benue. Benue have been the food basket of nations but recently they now import foods to eat and live,in fact farming have drastically reduced there as a result of Fulani herdsmen attack.

Among the regions in Nigeria the level of illiteracy is high in north. This could be the reason why crime is been penetrated.

Eastern Nigeria

East was known to be peaceful, but things are no longer the same. The issue of herdsmen has gradually spread the whole south east. There is high cost of living in and illiteracy is high also. But this increase is what I don’t understand.

There have been speculations that if Nigeria should be divided that south east may not survive it. I think I concur with this from the recent happenings.

To be continue…….

PoliticsMinimum Wage: A Threat To Nigerians Economy by Decentupdate(op): 2:57pm On Apr 19, 2019
The bill regarding minimum wage and its assent have been on the lips of every Nigeria paid worker.

Minimum wage is the least amount that an employer is expected to pay his workers for the job performed over a period of time which may not be able to be reduced by collective agreement or individual control.

Nigerian labour congress is a group that sees to workers welfare. Since the inception of this current administration and the issue of recession in the country, The Nigeria Labor Congress (NLC) have been calling on the government to increase the minimum wage from 18000 to at least 30000 to help increase workers welfare. Now that the president have assented the act regarding minimum wage, what is the essence without our economy been stable?

How minimum wage will be a threat to Nigerians Economy

According to information gathered, the president yesterday signed the above Act, which stipulates that from this month lowest rank in civil service will no longer collect 18000 but 30000.

This increment will result in inflation. The whole sector in our economy will all increase their cost of production reasons being that money is now in circulation, very soon money will be there but you may not see goods to buy.

Remedies

Decent update is of the opinion that experts that will help checkmate the predicted inflation be employed.

PoliticsNigeria Should Emulate Kenya In All Ramification by Decentupdate(op): 12:21pm On Apr 18, 2019
It’s now obvious that Nigeria is going down in every aspect. The health sector is serious devastating. Human beings both old and young die on daily bases as a result of lack of proper care.

Research has shown that 12%per 1000people die in Nigeria. The Nigerian doctors are complaining of government owning them, thereby resulting in striking action.

The economy of Nigeria is going down day by day. First it was recession thereby goods and services are skyrocketing. The government came out to say we are out of recession, yet things are still hard. In fact, the government has been lying and playing politics in this aspect. Things are getting hard worse day by day.

The education sector is also in a merciful situation. Most primary secondary and university are not well equipped with Oct related things. In fact, there is need to look into this.

Now Kenya country: Kenya economy is far more better than Nigeria.Base on statics, Kenya took the 9th position in Africa and 20th in the whole world in terms of the economy. The make use of people that knows what they are doing.

Think of the health sector, their government is serious about this sector because they believe in their citizen's welfare.

What of education, students are learning under a conducive government, well-furnished classrooms, well educated and learned teachers etc

Remedies to Nigerian Government

Nigerian government needs to conduct a workshop where they will invite people from all over the country to train us how to manage our economy, education, and health sectors.

PoliticsMultiparty : A Call For One Party System. by Decentupdate(op): 3:33am On Apr 17, 2019
The multiparty system has done more harm than good to our democracy.

Before now , political parties were based on regions. During the military rule,Nigeria was practising only two party system namely :Social democratic party (SDP) and National Republican convention (NRC).

But since democracy came ,proliferation of political parties has become prominent.

During the last general election , this was seen ,in fact it was alleged that the Independent National Electoral Commission registered up to 99 political parties, thereby making it difficult to announce the out come of the result on time.

One thing that was clear is that most of the newly registered could not even secure seats for either, house of reps, senate or even governor for their members.

Judging by this it is advised that this political parties should merge with the existing political party.

decentupdate thereby call on INEC and the government to Scrap most of this political parties , thereby reducing it to One party system, this will help strengthen our democracy.

The multiparty system has done more harm than good to our democracy.

Before now , political parties were based on regions. During the military rule,Nigeria was practising only two party system namely :Social democratic party (SDP) and National Republican convention (NRC).

PoliticsRochas & His Bid To Become A Senator by Decentupdate(op): 3:01pm On Apr 12, 2019
Rochas okorocha has been on the news for so long , is either you him pulling down structures in Owerri town or you hear him showcasing his achievements which may not be verifiable.

Since his second tenure as a governor ,there has been stories that may not be good to hear.

Earlier last year, there were stories of him making a portrait of some foreigners and inviting them to Imo state for commissioning.

There were also cases of him throwing an expensive birthday party.

During the last election, there were stories of him insisting on making his son In-law governor , but he didn’t succeed.

Now his bid to becoming a senator

Rochas who claim to have worn senatorial seat is yet to be given his certificate of return.

Could it be he was declared winner under duress or could it be that he disobeyed his party by insisting on his In-law becoming the governor of the state.

You could recall that his party warned him to drop his ambition of making his son In-law the governor. You could also recall that INEC refuse to issue certificate of return to him

I wish him well

PoliticsIhedioha And His List Of Technocrats by Decentupdate(op): 3:23am On Apr 11, 2019
Since the Gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Imo State, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, was declared a winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission, I have never doubted my conviction that Imo is indeed on the path of glory and rejuvenation. Following his campaigns and how He has managed the victory of His Party so far, there is no surprise seeing the kind of quality men and women who have been listed as the members of the Transition committee under the incoming administration of Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha.

For the first time in recent times we are seeing a list of Imolites who have excelled in their various endeavors take center stage in the transformation and rebuilding of their State. The capacity to assemble these men and women can only be possessed by a man of multiple capacities like the Governor-Elect, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha. In the Transition Committee list, there is a United Imo, cutting across the academics, financial experts, town planners, educationists, the media, traders, town union leaders, artisans, Trade Union, transporters, students, amongst others.

For those who know Mr. Ernest Ebi, MFR, very well, He is no doubt one of the brightest brains who has made Imo Proud globally. Mr Ebi among other things rose to the position of a Deputy Governor in Central Bank of Nigeria. He is also a Non-Executive Director in Dangote Cement Plc, a position he has held since January 30, 2014. Between 1981 to 1993, Mr Ebi worked in various departments of International Marchant Bank in Lagos. He has also served as Chairman, UNIC Insurance PLC; Executive Director, Corporate Banking of African Continental Bank PLC and Deputy Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Diamond Bank Limited (prior to its re-registration as a public limited liability company).

In the list also, one can see the likes of Mr Frank Nneji, Dr Chiris Asoluka, Dr Nneamaka Obereri, Prof. Chidi Odinkalu, Prof. B.E.B Nwoke, Dr Sam Amadi, Mr Ano Anyanwu, Sir Mike Okoro, Sir Stanley Amuchie and myriad of other great sons and daughters of Imo State who are in way political sycophants. These men and women are in great ways success stories in their various capacities. At a time when Imo is faced with so many economic problems, infrastructural decay, lack of order and discipline, the Transition committee as released appears sufficiently equipped to tackle these problems.

Politically also, the list satisfies Ihedioha’s promise of an all-inclusive government where every Zone, area, and interest will be accommodated. This is I’m not mistaken is the first time a Governor-Elect is assembling more than 10 Gubernatorial candidates and aspirants from another political party into his transition committee. This shows that the man Ihedioha understands that in the quest of liberating and rebuilding IMO, there is no winner takes it all Situation. However, it is important to note that the appointment of these Gubernatorial candidates and aspirants goes beyond political compensation but an act of using round pegs in round holes. No matter how close you are to the man Ihedioha, if you can not handle a particular task, He will never assign you to do it. He must ensure that 99 percent of his appointments are basically on merit. The Transition committee list can best be described as a drift from the usual Iberiberism to the real act of leadership and governance.

As the committee gets set to be inaugurated on Wednesday 3rd March 2019, at Rock View Hotels, Imolites must brace up for the real change. There is no doubt that the Imo list of Transition committee members shows seriousness, discipline, readiness, capacity, and leadership. As May 29th gets closer, it is becoming clearer day by day that an indeed a new sheriff is in town.

PoliticsDemocracy: Why It May Be Difficult To Have A Woman President In Nigeria. by Decentupdate(op): 9:25pm On Apr 10, 2019
Introduction

Having a woman as a president in Nigeria has become a nightmare or probably a thing that may never happen.

A woman is a female gender. She so much believes that she is meant to subordinate since the Bible and the society has made it so.

In the olden days, it is believed that sending a woman to school is a waste of time, money and resources, since her duty is to remain in the kitchen and she will soon be married off to a man who never contributed to her upbringing and the family dynasty may not continue.

In the other hand society has made it that a woman can never head any society, instead,d she will be an assistant.

For instance,e you could see this in most primary, secondary and even universities. The University of Nigeria Nsukka has made it that a woman can never be Student Union Government president, departmental or faculty president.

Why Nigeria may never have a woman president

During the last general election, a lot of women from different political parties came out to contest for one political seat or the other, but unfortunately not up to 35% of them won.

Could it be that the men are smarter than them or that they are were not serious with the campaign?

According to decentupdate.com, it was gathered that most of the women could not make during the primary election. The reason could be is either they were oppressed or they declined due to the threat?
To be continued…….
