He doesn't want commotion yet he infiltrated a hidden village together with another S-ranked criminal with the aim of capturing the 9tails jinchuuriki; after he knocked out two jonin, dealt with his younger brother, he then decided to fled as soon as jiraiya entered the picture. He knows he can't possibly beat Jiraiya and won't make it out alive if he stayed and fought.

Hashirama was already in position to cast the 4 red yang barrier, he also was in sage mode and he created multiple wood clones then sent one to Madara. An ordinary shinobi would have figured out that a clone was sent too.

Madara could only distinguish between shadow clones and the original, not wood clones. You should also know that a wood clone is stronger than a shadow, and that could also be another factor as to why Madara couldn't differentiate the clone from the real Hashi.

Having ki or other forms of energy doesn't necessarily equate to having more power. A character could have large reserves of energy and be physically weak, or vice versa.
Physically, without the use of ki, Goku has shown feats beyond the realm of saitama. Comparing both of them is just laughable. It's like comparing saitama to deku.

The bolded is pure speculation. What we were shown is he had to hold his breathe while he was on the moon which means he can't breathe in vacuum and won't survive for a long period in space.
I don't think he specifically mocked boros. He just generalised that all the people he faced, with all their bragging, got killed with a punch. And you know boros survived consecutive normal punches from saitama.

We've seen many characters making planet-busting statements with some of the showing feats that aren't remotely close to that. If the said attack could destroy a earth, i don't think saitama's superior attack would need to be directed towards earth or anywhere else to bust the planet. The shockwaves from his punch would do just that.
Let's even agree saitama could destroy a planet. Do you with think with just that he stands a chance against dragonball characters? Aside his punches, what else has he got? Dude can't even survive in space!

The reason why Saitama's feats look impressive is because OPM as a verse is pretty much weak and its characters strengths are nothing to write home about. if you are to use actual feats shown and should remove hype, plot armour and foreshadowing, i'd rate him lower than naruto.

I have mixed feelings about this one. The arc started off great but quickly took a nosedive, the ending was rushed and left a lot of plot threads unresolved. If they can fix these issues I'll happily watch it. If not, I'll probably still watch it but I'll be bitching about it the whole way through.

I don't think it can be fixed. The only thing that can be done is the addition of filler contents which will most likely make things worse.

Okay, this is hilarious. You really need to rewatch that arc again. kisame asked itachi why he asked them to run when jiraiya used his toad gourd prison. Please go and rewatch that scene and tell me what Itachi's reply was.
If obito, who could control 100% kurama, put Yagura a mizukage and a perfect jinchuuriki in genjutsu and controlled him for years, why was he still crushed by minato who used only ftg and rasengan?
Now, substitute Itachi for Obito in that fight. How will itachi counter an instantaneous attack that obito with a mangekyou sharingan couldn't detect? What will happen is Itachi will get tagged before he activates his susano'o then minato will safely and instantaneously ram a simple rasengan into itachi's ass. Unless you'll tell me itachi's ms is qualitatively superior to Obito's, which will be utterly ridiculous. Yotuska blade and yata mirror are pretty useless in this fight because minato can easily teleport to avoid yotsuka and disregard yata mirror defense with the same teleportation. Tsukuyomi will be rendered useless with senjutsu.
They are only two outcomes should itachi try to fight minato; He quickly gets killed by minato, or he survives long enough to die of exhaustion.
If you can't bring up a better argument as to how itachi will counter all of these and emerge victorious, see this as my final reply in the discussion.
