CareerRe: Should I Resign From This Job? Pls Help Me by dee169: 5:34pm On Jun 14, 2020
Your fear makes sense. But if you do the maths, taking up the new job makes more sense. Firstly, nothing is certain, even your current job it’s not impossible they fold up. Let’s even consider your fear, you work your new job for 1year and it collapses you still make 1.8m, which will take your 3 years to make at your old job. This is assuming the company even folds up. If you watch how you spend your new income, you should have savings to cover a year of joblessness.
Bro the simple conclusion is nothing is given, nothing in a business world is certain but refusing to take risk or push out of your comfort zone will lead to a mediocre life.Goodluck

Eeehn am i missing something, you’re the CFO, financial misappropriation is going on and you seriously thinking of looking the other way? Man I’m sorry if you do that, you not different from your colleagues and you an example of an employee one should never employ. Some advice tho. When did we sell our morals, what is the hope for our country if majority of us have a mindset no different from those in power.
PoliticsRe: Abaribe Cautions Against Lockdown Extension by dee169: 11:36am On Apr 26, 2020
hmmm in as much as we all know hunger is also a terrible problem we face, but lifting the lockdown at any time now would simply lead to disastrous consequences for Nigeria. USA is a simple example, the arrogance towards dis Virus was in part what led to the crisis they are facing right now. If we go down that same line, we truly will have bodies everywhere on the streets. We don’t have the health system to deal with anywhere close to a full blown Covid-19 crisis, we are not even carrying out close to enough tests, our numbers are greatly understated. Now is the time for the govt to step up and show they care about the people irrespective of your status. Lifting the lockdown at any point now is a recipe for disaster.
