Thanks for the response. Please I have few more questions please. For those who took IELTS test, on the test report form, there's nothing like award reference number and there's a box where you have to fill your award reference number when filling your visa form online. Am I supposed to put the number that says "UKVI number" on the IELTS form of the number that says "test report form number"

2nd question is "have any of your course fees been paid"? Options are paid to UK education provider or paid to overseas higher education institution. I picked paid to uk education provider am I correct please. These questions are a tad bit confusing.

3rd question is the part that says have you been assessed by the sponsor by other means, for example references or a portfolio of artwork. That part too is confusing. I dont know if in supposed to say yes or no.

Please help.

As for your 3rd question, this information would be on your CAS. What they used to access you will be stated there...

Write what is in your statement. Even though the ukvi does not have the right to request ur closing balance from the bank, they have avenues for confirming the authenticity of your bank documents. I am very sure of this. Goodluck.

I believe it is just the funds on the 28 days following the print that would be put into consideration by the ECO.. As for the OANDA rate, the money which should be written in your application is the money available by the close of balance for the 28 days in your account... (The oanda rate used by the ECO is the rate for the date of application for the visa i.e. in your case today)

Please i'm a bit confused:
I printed my bank statement but used out of the money to pay for my application etc after. Now the money left will definitely not be what was on the statement by printed but is still above the requires funds...
My question is; when I write oanda rate, should I write what the closing balance is in pounds today? Or just the conversation rate

Plz guys I want to find out something.started my my visa application 25th yesterday paid for ihs but when I got to the stage of visa payment the card says could not be complete.early this morning I went to the bank and I was told the transaction exceeded the limit of $1000.And I have received a msg also that the appointment i bookeis cancelled because of failed payment. What i want to confirm is if the embassy will use oando rate for yesterday for me or that of today. Because I intend using someone else card to complete the transaction now.Though on my application page I see application started 25th August.

I paid for my visa and ihs fees using gtb naira card so I'm not aware of this new development. You can try paga. It's one of the acceptable modes of payment on their website. A friend of mine paid thru paga. As for value added services, you can pay at the center on the day of your appointment but not in cash. You can pay with your card.

Okay and the whole thing will go through in a day??

You can pay for both of them with a GT card as long as they are under $1000.

Alternatively, use Skye Bank ($2000 monthly limit) or UBA (Equivalent of N500000 daily limit).

Hi everyone, being a silent observer for sometime...but everything I have read here has been most helpful. So thanks..
However, I have a small issue ; I was at my bank today (gtb) and was told I could only pay my visa application fee and Surcharge using a dollar card which I don't have...so who knows what banks or bank would let one pay the total thing in a day...I know this question has been asked like a million times, but I was just wondering...like who has paid most recently and what bank naira card did u use, if u did. Also can one pay for a value added service in cash on the day of their appointment in abuja?
