The thing is, this trash transcends Nairaland. Go to the comment sections of major newspapers and see what's going on there, then you'd realise, clamping down on religious and ethnic bigotry on the forum might have little or no impact on the trend.

What I think could significantly check it is legislation. The government is tinkering with that, but guess what, they are screaming the government is seeking to clamp down on opposition voices and freedom of expression.
