Hmmm.... The Only thing I would say here is those officials really lacked Islamic knowledge, that's why they imposed this Irrational ban on the student, yet I still wonder why the parents kept quiet tho. In islam Adolescence is not by age or size of the Body, a child can be an adult the moment he experience some signs within himself. E.g 1. Hair growing around his Private organ 2.Wet dream 3. Heavy Voice(manly voice) e.t.c So its possible to see a 13 - 16 year old child with one or two of this signs. So in essence what I really want to say is, the school should not have banned any student from performing his/her duty to Allah because that's one of our primary aim of being in this World, Rather they should have advised those students they feel they are minor, not to take part in the obligation if they feel they can't. And again One advice to the parents/Students Don't Displease Allah to Please another Person.
