About d m5 am not using 1 but my friend is and so far I dnt tink have seen the phone lag @ all plus I haven't seen people complaining about their m5 lagging..

u are on point sir. but I think phone engineers that we have in kano can solve any kind of problem at low cost and I hv never in my life experience any problems with phones, I dnt know whether it's because I always go for new n genuine sets.

amAZEing:

Ok now I'm officially NOT interested in this phone again. Google is Android, Android is Google, any Android phone that doesn't have Google apps is a no no for me cos I'm a big fan of Google's. And I don't have time to start following any long process in order to get those apps.

same here. I'm buying this phone just to use an Android apps, no less no more ,cos I have my new z30 as a best friend. so xiaomi has a store separate from play store just like my BlackBerry? seriously?

Depending on how deep ones pocket is, I would start by recommending
-a smartphone that can handle hard multitasking without skipping a beat,
-a smartphone with a chipset designed for efficient power optimization,
-a phone with top of the shelf graphics processing unit that can handle even the most intense programmes,
-a smartphone that has a pixel per inch density that is above 400, a smartphone that doesn't use onscreen softkey features,
-a smartphone that has at least random access memory that is above 2gb,
-a smartphone that is easily upgradable to the latest operation system,
-a smartphone that has a micro-sdcard slot,
-a smartphone that has a battery capacity that is above 2500mAh,
-a smartphone that has a micro usb port of 2.0/3.0 that supports fast charging

Most smartphones with the following features and characteristics are expensive high-enders, however, UMI, Huawei, and Lenovo, are brands you can count on to give you quality smartphones with high-end features at affordable prices.

I'm not a fan of window phones, never used one in my life, thus, don't know much about 'em.

but they said m5 can run high end games.

debeo:
Okay, good to know you don't sell phones
I thought you were a seller and off course, you did my falsify the price.

Just that I've seen some very ridiculous prices.

I know of someone who paid 53k for the phone (though not through NL)

Just that I've seen some very ridiculous prices.

I got mine like 10k cheaper than yours, and it was through pre order! The price is lower now by at least Usd30!

I don't know why some people selling are still selling at a price higher than even pre order price

Pls help me buy the phone where u bought urs. guide us.

SLOVFO:
Pls friends, what is the current price of Gionee M5 ? Down here in Aba it is 47K last. I want a better deal ooo.

I think xioami redmi note3 is better at 54.

kolabad:
yes bcuz u can hardly find an apple product wif factory fault plus their parts are everywhere

ooops are u saying that Gionee phones can easily be faulted that's just the reason why their centre is close to their end users? I love m5 but it's low ppi and weight makes me to go for xioami. all I need to know now does the phone really has 32 in build memory and hope it doesn't lag or hang at all.

Otu7:
dis fine is a very nice device. its a mid range fone but can compete wit d very high end devices. sometimes I feel d price is 2 poor 4 d device. if it we're 2b Nokia or Samsung or even Motorola or BB. d price wud av bn from N100k+. it beats my bbz30 & even my note3. d note 3 only beats it in terms of screen size & display. d only flaw of dis fone is its display(267ppi). pls how do I use d face unlock??

are u saying that the display is so poor that can easily be notice be cos of 267ppi? Pls elaborate more.

Gloriao:
Friends, I just bought the Tecno camon c 8 a few days ago, and i am greatly disappointed. the battery runs down so fast when it hits 39%. only one app (whatsapp) was active

surely the battery doesn't last and its very poor in multitasking. apart from that the phone is good . I heard that it plays fifa n pes without lag.

Orator2383:
Is like people dash u the phone so you don't know the value. In fact the marshmallow update is billed to arrive February

Abeg don't remind me that sad story. I bought it 26 thousand now am in need of an Android phone for games.

I love to play this game seriously but my z30 doesn't run such games. which android should I buy. Pls guys respond.

mogreen22:
it gets warm. You are basically using all its cores while gaming, it would definitely be warm, w well depending on the type of game you are playing though

I'm yet to decide between splus and m5. Wc one lag and Wc one doesn't.

fabolakers:
M5 and S+ Love dem both. 4 of my friends have started using Gionee since I bought mine last year December. 3 bought M5 and one bought S+. Another one will be buying M5 this month end. Gionee need to give me award shah

Pls help me decide which one should I go for? im so so confused. my only concern is games, which one play games flawless: that doesn't lag at all.

my only fear with this phone is somebody said , it gets hot while gaming and that's is the main purpose of buying the phone.

very sad to now Discover that the phone reached 30k in market after selling my one month old at just 18k. seriously sad now that I need an android phone cos my new z30 BlackBerry can't play higher end games. so sad.

Pls guys somebody should explain this for me, after downloading the game from play store it says the game require additional data (654mb) to run on this device. I attach some pics.

eleshin:

actually I love s plus more then m5, can u Pls tell me why m5 is nt ur style,? so that I can have another reason to love my S plus more.this is my email : imamalto@gmail.com

funkdr:
so confused between this m5 and redmi note 2!.

redmi note don't have sd card slot that's a deal breaker for me.

shakaz:
S plus doesn't have fast charge and it not even normal charge.. I will call it slow charge because a device without fast charge will charge a 3000mah battery with a 2A charger in 1 hour 30mins using "Q=it "relation. but my S plus charges from 0-100% in 3hrs+ with a 2A charger to that's too slow.. however I so much love this device even if it takes 10hrs to reach full battery I would still buy it again and again... superb device.

Pls is the device get hot when gaming or charging? Pls explain more.

mogreen22:
i use the splus and its been awesome so far.
from thr unboxing which gave me a screen protector, a transparent case and a flip blackcover case. i dont like the chaarger though as its just with two mouths, i prefer the one with 3mouths but then this is a personal preference but i am inlove with the usb cos its the new type c which means faster charging and you can insert the usb in any direction. then the user experince, i dont like the stock launcher that came with it but it was easy to fix as i downloaded a new launcher for it. Then the display, very bright, the amoled screen looks natural too and not too saturated. the deal breaker for me was the camera. its so crystal clear, i must say the front camera is sharper than my note4 camera. all the blackheads for my nose dey show . the camera brings out every detail. i dont loike to talk much on battery cos i feel battery usage is relative. to some, its awesome, to others its not. All in all, the phone is worth the 39k i spent on it. i got the gold one and it sure feels premium. i heard the only diff btw this and the m5 is the battery but trust me. this one is pocket friendly and its definately worth it

while as for me I dnt really mind the camera cos my z30 can provide that for me what i care the most is playing higher end games,: like fifa13,14,15,16 games, that's the main reason of buying the phone. Thanks for ur response.
