Minsk24:
When u talk about zones, u must look at the ethno-religious makeup of the regions, this will play a factor in having unanimous agreement on how the mergers will work...
The biggest conundrum will be the North Central, South -South....
Stop repeating this foolishness.

Have you united yourselves in your own SE?

Why not focus on your own and let others sort it out.

As I said earlier, every state in the SS can be self sustainable once resource control is granted.

If we agree to merge as one, fine.

If we say we go our seperate ways as independent states then no problem.

No one is dragging land with anybody in the SS.

We know our boundaries and respect that of others.

How with this be feasible?
It's not going to be feasible because you are going back to your Biafra Pounds printed in bread cover quality.

The only option I will agree with is like that of UK. The only thing that will join us together is sport after that nothing, even that I am managing. We can trade in the same currency but different economy.
Get ready for Biafra .

We are downsizing

Lol, i don tire for ur matter...bye bye
Run away

You say SS can not exist as a union but SS is good to be annexed and dragged into your useless Biafra .

Get out and don't come back.

Minsk24:
It is a shame on your end if an igbo makes such ridiculous statement and u don't provide facts to put the person in his place...
Different people and different views...i am not here to bicker around with needless talks that wont add any vitality to me, i have never for once said anything to undermine your region since yesterday, so is it not high time for u to get logical with me?
The 0koros here that keep spewing that trash about SS not being a tribe so can not be considered one are just too numerous to mention.

Several of your yeyebrities like One Bakassi even had the termerity to go on his SM to demand SS be merged with SE .

Look, I know you people in and out and I know your greatest ambition is to annex the SS and form your mini Nigeria .

It won't work.

Better focus on merging your SE states into one.
PoliticsRe: What Is Your Idea On Merging States/regionalization by DeepThroater: 11:34am On Mar 07, 2024
Minsk24:
That is a good idea, now u have made a reasonable statement, on that note , it is safe to say the SS should stay as it is....
And spread the word to your feral IPOB land grabbers to steer clear of any part of SS.
PoliticsRe: What Is Your Idea On Merging States/regionalization by DeepThroater: 11:33am On Mar 07, 2024
Minsk24:
Lol, can u not see that u are too heterogenous to exist as a single state? It is possible only in the context of Nigeria going back to a regional system, but i do not think a regional system is feasible in Nigeria... merging of states makes more sense...
The most diverse regions of Nigeria is the North Central and South South, to lump all of them as one political entity will not be easy, this is my opinion, is it possible, yes, but it will come with some difficulty...
We are too heterogenous to exist as a state but we are ok to be annexed by you.

Oga , face your SE.

Lol, i just dy laugh as i dy type grin...i dy feel ur pain and anger
Nowhere in the post did i mention any SE state joining with SS , but u want to twist my words to fuel ur anger grin
It's not today I have encountered your type saying that "SS is not a tribe " and so can not be considered a bonafide region.

The NC is more diverse culturally , racially and sectarian wise than the SS.

Why do you people never ridicule NC region as you do always by undermining the SS region ?
PoliticsRe: What Is Your Idea On Merging States/regionalization by DeepThroater: 11:29am On Mar 07, 2024
Minsk24:
Lol why would igbos hate SS people? U are so ignorant, yes we deserve your wrath , but we have no ill feel towards you...
We cannot secede because the constitution says the country is indivisible ....so u must live and bear with us as ur neighbor and we must work together to ensure economic growth and stability
Every state in SS is self sustainable once resource control is established and the FG is stripped off some exclusive list.

Take your merger to your SE.
PoliticsRe: What Is Your Idea On Merging States/regionalization by DeepThroater: 11:27am On Mar 07, 2024
Minsk24:
Oga calm down and be realistic, it is very difficult for the SS to be unified into a single region....in my opinion, it can be divided into 3 states, Edo and Delta plus rivers and bayelsa plus akwa ibom and cross river
This is very feasible than having one state for the entire region due to its diversity....
So we should merge with you abi?

The SS is the most diverse region in the south and we also have more harmony than you that one homongus pile of shit.

Take your eye off the SS.
PoliticsRe: What Is Your Idea On Merging States/regionalization by DeepThroater: 11:21am On Mar 07, 2024
Minsk24, why are you Ibos so bent on not letting go of the British administrative area known as the old eastern region ?

Why do you people always refuse to recognise that there is a region known as SS?

Why did you state that merging SS states into one state or region is not feasible ?

Why?
PoliticsRe: What Is Your Idea On Merging States/regionalization by DeepThroater: 11:12am On Mar 07, 2024
Minsk24:
For those talking about regional system, i don't think it is very feasible . especially for North Central and South South....and also for north east....
So why can't SS be a region ?

You see your life .

Anything to undermine the unity and seperateness of the SS from your dead old eastern Nigeria.

You want to see how you can merge Rivers, Akwa Ibo and Cross River into your dead east abi?

Here is a better suggestion:

Why don't we grant you guys your Biafra with your five states?

Not like you contribute anything to the polity ?

You even hate us with passion.

Look at it as your normal corporate downsizing.

And yes, this is antizikist

When it ever comes to deliberate on decentralisation, you will see their legislators staging a walkout just as they did with Obasanjo's proposed 25% derrivative to oil producing states.

Curious345:
I am igbo, grew up in omuaran and speak better yoruba than most Southwesterners.

When I travel across yoruba land I see complete decay of infrastructure, non existence of development, medieval style living, state sponsored thuggery, mafia syndicates etc.

The most touching of them all is the current infrastructural decay of lagos and Ogun.

Lagos and Ogun has zero roads, "I can swear on my father's grave"..
From. Lekki to ajah, computer village to Agege, ikorodu, ipaja,( just keep the street name coming..) the roads have all decayed, littered with multiple large potholes, wavvy uniformity, melted coal tar, refuse filled drainages etc.
Anytime I drive my Toyota sedan on lagos roads, I weep. Yes you Heard me. I shed tears..
I ASK MYSELF THIS QUESTION "LAGOS IS RICHER THAN 32 STATES COMBINED ; LAGOS IS THE SMALLEST STATE IN NIGERIA - AND DESPITE ALL THIS, IT CANNOT FIX ITS FEW ROAD NETWORKS".
I assume it's a case of a state under hostage..

I will also come to the case of Ogun state.. Though Ogun state is about 30times larger than lagos, it's road networks are in a sorry state..
I want to belive the governor of Ogun state is in a treaty with the devil to Underdeveloped the states infrastructure.

SAYING OGUN HAS NO ROAD - is a long thing - OGUN STATE IS OFFICIALLY LIVING IN THE STONE AGE 'INFRASTRUCTURALLY' I can boldly say Ogun state is gone.. Gone and finished.. Its rate of decay is fast, 25yrs per year.. That's the rate..for every year that passes in Ogun state, it will Take 25yrs to clean up the rot, rebuild, build and meet up with time..2yrs means 50yrs..
But the SW has relied on propaganda to paint a rosy picture of itself, defying all Odds
. This shall lead to a dangerous end.

On the flipside, the SE is built with facts. It can be seen and felt, there are evidences..

The Igbos are wired to call a Spade a spade. They do not white wash or gold plate..

If you don't work, nobody will sing your praise.
nobody will open a troll Farm and bomb social media with alternate facts and propaganda to favour you..

This reality has made the southeastern politicians to sit up and perform as expected..
Why not move to your SE then?

PoliticsRe: Governors Are Responsible For Naira Crash by DeepThroater(op): 8:17am On Mar 07, 2024
What have the governors done with their increased allocation ?

Nothing!

Even to increase workers salaries in these tough times they haven't or only added small change to state workers salaries.

One like that even got caught making budgetary proposal to buy two Hilux vans for #1.5bn.

The real looting is happening at the state level.

PoliticsGovernors Are Responsible For Naira Crash by DeepThroater(op): 8:08am On Mar 07, 2024
I keep wondering who will bid so high for the naira in this very tough economy.

Definitely not manufacturers as most are shutting down because of both global inflation brought about by the hangover Covid supply chain crisis and the poor economy.

It also can't be importers because importers will prefer a strong naira so as to be able to sell their goods at affordable prices.

I also considered Buhari cabal and their huge stash of loot but I am waving them off because it's been close to a year they left power and they must have since laundered all their loot already.

The only people I suspect are the thieving governors whose allocations from FAAC have in some instances, doubled.

These governors are the only ones enjoying the fuel subsidy removal and have done next to nothing with the windfall from the removal of subsidy.

I strongly believe they are the ones bidding against the naira by rushing to convert their new found loot to FX .

If you noticed , anytime FG shares money with FAAC, naira value crashes within the week.

It's the governors and only the governors that are using the FX market to launder their loot.
