When removing any component from your computer please take plenty of care as the system build up loads of static electricity which can cause electric shock. To avoid that happen I"ll recommend you use Anti-static wrist band. good suggestion oxone

, nearly forget, After you"ve try it power on pc as normal and keep pressing f8 on the kb if no display off it again and then keep f5 pressing for 20 secs and then switch to f8 if no joy I think you may have a problem with you system. And one more thing do you get the post beep when you turn your pc like a small sound beep

First and foremost the reason why your monitor is going to standy (orange) is because no signal been receive from your tower, this

1. what you need to try : unplug all peripheral at back of pc such as Printer, cables, kb , mouse, monitor, speakers etc basically you want all out so that you have the main pc on is own with nothing plug in

2.Next hold the power button down on your pc for roughly 20 secs, sound weired isnt it ? we are not turning it on, all we doing their is discharging static build on the mobo which could prevent it from displaying

3.Connect monitor, power leads, kb and mouse and power on as normal, hope this help
