Enskynelson: Dear nairalanders, I am a graduate of Microbiology and currently serving but I want to be a Nurse as I am more passionate about that and it also has more prospect than Microbiology both in Nigeria and outside Nigeria. Please, suggest and advise me on what I can do right now. I don't mind going to School of Nursing but will prefer any school that can offer me Direct Entry into Nursing with my Degree Certificate. But if that is not possible, I am opened to writing JAMB again and going for Nursing. Thanks Go for it you will do well, amen. |

deept: You must provide at least 6 items of correspondence, addressed to you and your partner jointly or in both your names. The dates of the items of correspondence should be spread evenly over the whole 2 years. They should be from at least 3 different sources. If you do not have enough items in your joint names, you may also provide items addressed to each of you individually if they show the same address for both of you. For example - 4 items of correspondence in joint names to the same address and 2 items addressed to each partner at the address. In total 8 items would need to be submitted. If you and your partner have no bills or correspondence in joint names, you will need to submit 12 items (6 each) of correspondence evidencing that you reside together at the same address. Thanks pal. |

Bourne007: Your kids don't need to apply as they are citizens. Requirements need to meet just your wife.
It is advisable to submit your application for an extension as early as possible in the period of 28 days before your current Visa runs out I thought as much. Thank you |

. . .sorry for the inconvenience Hello everyone, My 2 yrs old child arrived in the UK with her mum and was issued a British passport a few months after. We had a newborn this year who was also issued a British passport. Do I need to meet the requirement of £25,000 for my 2 children and my wife? In addition, my wife 2.5 will expire in August 2021, Should I start applying on the 3rd of August or sooner for my wife to meet the 28 days rule? Sorry if this sounds like silly questions. Thanks |

Portsmouth86: Hi Ladies/Gents
If you have found your way to this page, then congratulations, you have passed that first hurdle
I thought after all those with Successful UK spouse visas, it will be nice to have a page for the next stage, FLR for the extensions after 2.5years being in the UK with your significant other
So I will be gathering as much information as I can as time passes to help with upcoming applications.
The main thing to remember, once your spouse has been granted their spouse visas, and arrive in the UK is to make sure you start gathering evidence of cohabitation since this is what you supply instead of the Communication evidence
So here goes for the next stage
Karen
Good morning, Next level : FLR When can I apply if my wife's spouse visa expires on the 19th of August 2021 ? How can I meet the 28 days rule if they ask for 6 or 12 months payslips? for example, the last 12 months will be more than 28 days, but the most recent payslip prior to online application can be within 28 days. My wife's initial Afe Babalola University degree was CEF C1 as per UK Naric letter of confirmation which was accepted for the initial application. Would you recommend applying for the same UK Naric near the time of renewal or just sit the English exam? Thanks |
