Its a big sin to smoke.
First of all you body is the temple of God, smoking corrupts your body, its an unhealthy habit. You are destroying your lungs. Consumption of illegal substance is a sin. If cannabis was legal, then you can consume it for health reasons. Smoking it is the issue because of the inhaling of carbon monoxide caused by the combustion process.

Finally, you should have well discipline, don't let the devil make you replace smoking habits for God. God is a jealous God. Addiction is you being a slave to something. As a Christian should only be addicted to praising God and praying and worshipping.
