Actually, in Islam, there aren't any specific specifications for dressing except limits and guidelines.

Just like there is no evidence that encourages jalabia. But there is evidence that a man must wear a garment that covers the shape, size and colour of his navels to his knees. So also he must cover his shoulders in Solah.

Trousers reveal the shape of buttocks during rukoo and sujood. Shirts (except very long ones) may also be dragged up during rukoo and sujood thus revealing the waistline and/or the upper buttocks. This is nudity and nullifies Solah.

Now to your question.

According to an article on Wikipedia, women didn't wear trousers until the world wars when the women started taking jobs and working because the men were in the war fronts.

they had to wear their husbands' trousers to work so as to be more comfortable.


The war ended and the women did not submit the trousers to their owners. lol. Then a fashion company (I can't remember it's name) designed a trouser for women specifically after seeing their love for trousers.

It was a great success. The company released several new designs and many other fashion companies followed and that's how women now wear trousers.

Now, this is one way scholars differ on issues.

The hadiths curse females dressing like males and vice versa.

The one who says its impermissible for women will say it was basically not for them.

The one who says its permissible will say female trousers are now different from male trousers.

The second opinion is my choice... why. to be continued

The prophet s.a.w said: " The curse of Allah is upon a man who put's on woman's dress and also on a woman who put on a man's dress."

you have upper hand of being selected under nteach.
shortlisting will be done at the federal level. only posting of the selected people to PPAs will be done at the state level

If you re talking in this direction I might agree with you. But this is only limited to ur chances of being taken. N agro allows u time to do other activities, as extension officers you get to visit real farmers and know exactly how they do it practically. Ascertain their challenges. At the end chances re that u become self employed and also employer of labour. Beneficiaries can form coperatives with good business plan loans re sure

I will advice you to pick a location you are staying or you intend to be staying as your address.. State of origin doesn't affect your posting.

No it's not true. See Npower is a means not an end. You need time to learn something meaningful. Those teaching are not learning anything. Yet they are used. If you have time, you can explore other things and business idea such that as your salary is coming you are investing it in something that will yield money.

YES. I registered as a serving corps member then in July 2016, I completed NYSC scheme in October and was shortlisted in November. so during the verification and screening in December, I already had my NYSC certificate

There will be 5 questions on principles and practice of ISLAM, which will be posted for members to answer each day throughout the Ramadan period and each of the questions will attract 20points.

The points will be accumulated and the overall winners at the end of Ramadan will be rewarded as follows:

First Prize    -        N5,000.00

Second Prize  -    N3,000.00

Third Prize    -     N2,000.00

Fourth to Seventh Prize – Recharge Card of their preferred network


The Panel who will be in-charge of setting quiz and assessing the correct answers are as follows:
