san316: The truth is that I did not read anything you wrote up there because I know it is just a vein attempt to prove that Nigeria is doomed.
The only question I would ask you is,
If you were wrong about GEJ winning the March 28 presidential election, what makes you think you will be right about this one (the assumption that GMB's policy wont pull through)?
The fact is that you have never been in the corridor of power and have no idea how things work except from the things you're fed with by the media. Same with all of us.
Way forward: Wait for the regime to commence work and if you like, keep praying things don't work out.
Reality: GMB will be president for the next four years and whatever you do or say cant UN-VOTE him. Nonsense. Has any individual unvoted any elected president before? Our senile vegetable president elect has told us his social welfare programme, people are therefore, expected to analyse this proposal, you are there talking rubbish. You tell me if Buhari is not already confused when he told the world about equalizing the Naira and Dollar, and that he will be able control the oil price and this is another blunder that has come from the same president elect and you are there talking from your back head. |

WARRI—AN Ijaw group, the Ijaw People’s Development Initiative, IPDI, in Delta State, weekend, called on President Godluck Jonathan to grant presidential pardon to the former governor of the state, Chief James Ibori, before his exit from Aso Villa, next month.
National President the group, Mr. Austin Ozobo, in interactive with newsmen, said: “Chief Ibori has suffered enough and there is no justification for not granting him clemency, as had been done to others.
” Ozobo said Ibori was not the only corrupt leader in the country, but unfortunately, he has undergone indescribable hardship more than others.
“Ibori should be freed. Hundreds of persons, who looted heavily from government coffers are walking freely in the streets. The continuous incarceration of one corrupt man among a million other corrupt citizens cannot change the menace of high level corruption in the country.
‘’Ibori’s imprisonment could be seen as a witch-hunt and such is highly barbaric and provocative and the Nigerian government must quickly do something about his matter. ‘’Despite the ordeals Ibori is passing through, Deltans hold him in high esteem and his great achievements while in office cannot be discountenanceded.
‘’There should be no sacred cow among political office holders. Ibori’s case is not different, he is a victim of circumstances. Release him and let him breathe fresh air and let other corrupt public office holders be tried as well.”

Ngasky: Good and simple analysis. Remember the PTF Program the economic prophets of doom both local and international wrote it off as a failed embarked policy at inception. But Nigerians knows better after the program was rounded up. Even the international doom sayers had to admit to the success of the program even without any foreign lending. And who is in charge? With the op analysis it is possible to achieve the goals. Even the outgoing govt has the resources to do this but the biggest undoing factor of JEG's failure is STEALING (sorry thats not corruption and cant sack becouse of stealing according to ...) I believe with all achieved 65-75% of Nigerias income/budget was stolen, thats only 25-35% was utilised. Imaging utilising 90-95% what will be the situation on ground? If GMB Can fight stealing/corruption Nigeria will be the best destination in Africa in 2 years time. dust |
