The average naija commercial driver is drunk before his day begins. Trucks, busses, kẹkẹ, okada all drunk on shepe/agbo before starting the day. Worse part is their passengers praise their speed. Drs are insisting on police report cos the Nigeria police is a defective system full of corrupt officials who seize every opportunity to milk people of cash. If that was not the case, Drs wouldn't be afraid to treat patients. I mean, of what importance is a police report for a stab victim? It's because the Nigeria police officers are like vultures ready to pounce on anyone if there is the slightest chance of getting a penny out of them is why this evil "rejection until police report is provided" syndrome will keep recurring.
Anyways, the best way to counter is to sue those hospitals for negligence. Maybe when a few hospitals face the music others will start treating emergency classes while waiting for police report

Good day nairalanders. Please how do I stop my four year old son from stammering. He doesn't do it when speaking with his fellow kids, but when talking to his mom or me especially. He is my first son and can't imagine how it will be for him when he grows and wants to express himself.

A quick background to my topic. I'm the only one that Stammers in my family. Both in maternal and paternal. None of my siblings or relatives Stammers. I learnt it from a childhood friend when growing up. I know how it has limited me from reaching my full potentials in life.

Now my son is about to start his own and I'm wondering if stammering is hereditary. Please how do I stop it now he is still young. Medical experts in the house, any medical remedy for it. Thanks for your contribution.

I know the impulse to bully/ coerce/force him to talk normally would be strong but please don't. If you must correct him, just gently do so cos if you put pressure on him, he will only get worse. Secondly, if he is multi lingual ( being introduced to new language recently) it might trigger stuttering and with time he will settle in. Just encourage him to think about what he wants to say and not rush his words.

There's nothing like green tea for normalizing BP. For most people there are two active substances in green tea that they benefit from. L-Theanine and Caffeine. Caffeine is an acute stimulant that could temporarily raise heart rate in uninitiated people (200mg might initially make you jittery but with time you might even sleep after that), L- Theanine is a relaxant that smoothen the jittery effect of caffeine, amongst others. So what is being misunderstood is the stress relief and relaxing effect of the theanine. Any green tea with more L-Theanine and less caffeine than you're normally exposed to should work. But there is a bigger problem you should explore and it's why you are not using tried and tested with extensive literature regulated pharmaceuticals to 'normalize' your bp.

Thanks for the input. I thought of the tea as an option cos if it actually works; then it's a more enjoyable way of getting the BP normalized. I know it may sound naive but it's something anyone would pick as an option. I love tea and if I can get the added benefit of lowering BP while drinking what I love...#WIN! My BP is being taken care of pharmaceutically.

If doctors in other parts of the World like In Europe, don't tell their patients so, then why is Nigeria's different?

Hilarious post mistakenly posted in a way that even after taking the tea the first time, you kept mistakenly taking it until now you are addicted, emaciated, light, and lack concentration. I remember when some few years back, all of a sudden my BP started reading between 140 and above 150. I was scared; I didn't want to take the drugs so i was told a certain green tea that normalizes BP could do the job. Omo i went and bought a pack, downed it and bought the second and was halfway through it when I started noticing my shoulder bones appearing. though the BP normalised but omo i feared and ran. I changed to another type of green tea that gives me the needed sharpness and good feeling without distorting my system in any way.Even at that i dont take it regularly, but once a week now. Am cool man!

Please which green tea brand is that for normalizing BP? I need it.
