Report has it that a 21-year-old candidate has
been arrested for going to JAMB examination
hall with a gun.
It was learnt that he was arrested by men of
the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps
(NSCDC) at Nasarawa state Polytechnic centre
on May 16th, 2017 during a search at the
entrance to the hall.

Confirming the arrest, NSCDC boss, Lawal-Kano said the suspect was arrested on Tuesday, May 16, after he was found to be in possession of a locally-made pistol and two rounds of live ammunition and upon interrogation, the suspect confessed that someone gave him the gun for safe keeping.
The NSCDC boss said that the suspect would be charged to court for illegal possession of
firearms, adding that even registered guns
were not allowed at examination centres.
In a similar development, another candidate
has been arrested in Benue state after he was
caught stealing inside the examination hall.

The Joint Admission and matriculation Board
(JAMB) has extended reopened the portal for
2017 UTME Registration.
This was disclosed by the registrar of JAMB,
prof. 1shaq Oloyede.
According to him, the new deadline for
registration will be May 28th.
He said that he got the mandate from the
Senate few weeks ago to increase the UTME
registration period by one month, which
according to him will elapse on 28th of May.
“As I speak, we have registered additional

• You don't hear your phone when it rings (the ring tone doesn't play?)
• You hear the receiver but they receiver doesn't hear you even with your speaker on except you use an earpiece.

For the second part since the receiver doesn't hear you even with the speaker on except with an earpiece the problem should be with your microphone. If might be dirty/ clogged up.
It's in the small hole usually underneath your device.
Use a needle or so to "chuck" it to clear it.
If it's clear and it still doesn't work you may need to repair it

What am saying is I don't hear when I make call am suppose to hear the phone ring but I don't and when the receiver picks I still don't hear and they don't hear me....I think it has to do with call mute, like its permanently muted

Three people reportedly to be Nigerians have been caught after they robbed a supermarket in Dubai with machete.
A man has narrated how three men suspected to be Nigerians robbed a supermarket in Deira, Dubai with machetes. The man identified as Enofe Anthony obviously from Nigeria, said after the attack, the police came and raided the area taking every black person they see to the station.

Anthony said the three unidentified men entered the shop pretending to buy items. They waited for other customers to leave the premises before bringing out machetes and demanding money from the shopkeepers.

An American Airlines plane has caught fire in Chicago.

The right-side engine of the Boeing 767 failed Friday during an attempted takeoff, sending debris as far as a half mile and passengers hurriedly down emergency slides onto a runway at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport.

According to CNN, three sources familiar with the unfolding investigation revealed that the General Electric engine suffered an apparent "uncontained" failure.

The 161 terrified passengers and nine crew members scrambled to safety Friday afternoon after huge flames erupted on the right side of the plane.

Airport fire Chief Timothy Sampey said crews responded to a report of a No. 2 engine on fire. The plane, which had stopped well before the end of the runway, had about 43,000 pounds of fuel.

The difficulty in breathing was the scariest part, he said.

Asked whether he was afraid he was going to die, Schiavone said, "Of course. I'm thinking the plane is going to blow up."

Schiavone complimented the crew for getting everyone out in what he estimated was about a minute.

A python has left people in shock after it sunk its fangs into a model's breast resulting in its death.
A surgically enhanced Israeli model Orit Fox got more than she bargained for when the massive boa constrictor took objection to her over familiarity and reacted by biting into her breast.

Shockingly, the snake died from silicone poisoning while Ms Fox survived after she was given a tetanus shot at the hospital.

In a figure hugging red and white striped dress, which revealed maximum cleavage, she gamely tried to take their bonding to the next level by licking the snake's face.

However, as she tried to pose with the snake by changing position, after being licked the reptile reacted angrily and sunk its teeth deep in her left breast.

An assistant rushed in to help her pull the snake off and after a few seconds of struggle the creature released its grip.
The peroxide-blonde model was rushed to a nearby hospital and given a tetanus shot.

However, the snake wasn't so lucky and died from silicone poisoning.

he candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the Edo State governorship election, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has been declared winner of the poll by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

He defeated his main rival and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Osagie Ize-Iyamu, with 66,310 more votes.

Obaseki polled 319,483 votes as against Ize-Iyamu’s 253, 173 votes.

INEC’s Returning Officer, Prof. Kayode Soremekun, who declared Obaseki winner, said he had met all conditions required to be returned as governor elect for the state.

Obaseki had claimed an early lead in the poll, but half way into the election, the tie had been evenly posed with results appearing to be likely to swing in either candidate’s direction.

With results for nine of the 18 local government areas in the state collated around 11am, Obaseki had won five LGAs and polled 142,424 votes as against Ize-Iyamu’s four LGAs and 136,808 votes.

The results for the remaining nine local governments, however, saw the APC candidates lead widen, paving way for his victory.

The collation and announcement of the result was not without incident.

Hundreds of PDP supporters held a protest at the INEC office in Benin where the exercise was taking place.

The protesters alleged that results from their areas were manipulated and that there results were cancelled in areas that were PDP strongholds. They called on INEC to suspend collation of result from the areas, including Esan North-East LGA.

The protesters were, however, dispersed by the police with tear gas as the protest became more heated.

Also, some agents, including that of KOWA Party, called for the cancellation of the result, with others, including the APC candidate urging them to go to court.

Also, PDP’s agent, Chris Agbonwanegbe, refused to sign the result sheet, saying it was “rehearsed and produced”.

Four prostitutes and two male clients have dropped dead at a brothel in Abia State after they were allegedly slapped by a ghost.

A shocking incident has left about 4 prostitutes dead after they were reportedly slapped by a ghost.

The incident which took place at a brothel called 50-50 along Uyo Street in Umuahia, Abia State also left two people unconscious.

According to Abia Facts Newspaper, this is not the first time stories of such incident involving a ghost is happening at the hotel.

Just few weeks ago, some set of prostitutes who stayed at the brothel were forced to leave after complaining of ghost visit and slaps which left one unconscious. However, the owner of the brothel immediately recruited new prostitutes to continue his business.

However, the latest incident which left 4 prostitutes and 2 male clients dead and another two persons unconscious has led people into suggesting that the owner of the hotel must be a ritualist.

An angry crowd which gathered over the incident nearly lynched the hotel owner to death before he was rescued by the police who used tear gas to disperse the crowd.

The bodies of the dead victims have been deposited in a morgue, while the two unconscious persons were rushed to the nearest hospital.

A man facing livestock theft charges in South Africa has made a startling confession that the cow he stole & slaughtered has been haunting him!

The suspect, one of five men arrested, told Daily Sun South Africa he has been struggling to sleep because at night he hears a cow mooing at the Tarlton Police Station in Mogale City.

“I regret helping my friends steal the cow on Thursday. I was the one who killed it with an axe. All the noises the cow was making on the day we killed it haunt me in my sleep,” said the man.

He said the cow’s head also visits him in his dreams.

“I will go and ask forgiveness from the owner of the cow. I have been punished for my sins.”

Constable Lucky Matome confirmed that five men, aged between 22 and 31, were arrested for stock theft. They were allegedly found in possession of a slaughtered cow loaded in a double-cab bakkie.

“The suspects were spotted at Waterval plots in Tarlton by our sector vehicle. Officers called for backup and the vehicle was followed to the Randfontein CBD and pulled over.

“The officers discovered pieces of a chopped up cow. None of the suspects wanted to associate themselves with it,” said Matome.

He said after investigation, one of the suspects provided information that led them to an open field near Hillside, where they found more parts.

Owner Anton Lombaard said he was happy with the Tarlton SAPS’ good work and that the cow was worth about R7 000 (N164k). All five suspects were taken into custody and will appear in court soon.
