Resumed fully back today after a while away. I guess they've increased fare a bit coz it is a bit improvement from what it used to be but it is not enough, fuel is not cheap. Another factor could be the weather that increased price a bit. God help us


Started from 12 and closed by 6pm. This was achieved with 20k fuel. 20k usually gross 60k minimum before now it barely does 50k.

Even with surge from morning till night.
Meaning if there isn't surge there is no gain.

This is true o, cos honestly if it weren't for the surge, I won't have gone on most of those trips.
There are so destinations you will see, compared to the price attached, you wont want to start ur engine not to talk of driving there

Activated this acct in ibadan, now trying to go online on Uber in Lagos and its showing me this, any advice on how to rectify plz?

I took some trips yesterday on bolt and indrive in Ibadan, now I understand why drivers in those states renegotiate prices all the time with their riders, cos wdym trips of #1500, 3k, bolt prices are even worse..

Anyone driving in Ibadan should give tips on how to make money here, ejo, I dont want to have to travel down to lagos all the time to make money..

Yes bro, i drive Matrix 2009 2ZR FE engine(same with Corolla & Pontiac Vibe)

if you drive daily make sure you change engine oil after every 30days and service your throttle body, service spark plugs too monthly(recommended oil only)

You can change transmission Oil after 4-5 months, 3 months sometimes

Shock absorber - can be remove and re-gas so it can bounce back up

CV - Joint( Shaft) if it starts to make noise from full turn ask your Mechanic to help u pad it with Soft cloth to reduce the gap and you can still manage it for a while b4 you gallant to change it.

Make sure your Radiator fan works well to avoid Engine, Gear and Compressor overheating.

One of the important thing is to know a car repair & maintenance history, if the former owner cares to tell you which i doubt. - reason is not all mechanic sabi motor faults, you fit get hard start due to bad fuel injectors make u don change Coil, Fuel pump, Spark plugs & Battery make the only solution be say u change injectors(nozzle)

So as you dey repair & maintain the vehicle u sef go don get the car history

the prices are not smiling especially on bolt

weekends are still the best. indrive it's fastest fingers that wins. some people do negotiating after picking a ride, but idk how that works

Will Bolt accept a 2013 Elantra in Lagos? Wanted to go for a 2010 corolla but after a Google search I found out that Bolt only accept cars that are 10 years old or newer (at least 2015 upwards) and Uber 15 years old or newer (at least 2011 upwards). I Don't want to buy a car I can only use on InDrive.

Bros, cng doesn't affect any engine... What the conversion does is, it elevates the problems or condition of ur engine components . If ur plugs were weak b4, it exposes.. If ur coil was weak, it exposes.... If ur idle air control valve was weak b4, it exposes.... Cng needs all components of air controlling parts to be in prestine state. No weakness allowed, cus gas has less power than fuel. Cng is NOT the culprit or the cause of their predicament, cng only exposed what was hidden or being managed b4, let's educate ourselves please. I just collected my car yesterday, the IACV(idle air control valve) i was managing b4, now the situation is worse, so i just have to buy another unit. It's not the cng's fault. Cng burns cleaner than fuel, better for ur car and environment, that's only downside (not for me tho) is loss of power, cus once again, gas gives less power compared to fuel and also power loss due to conversion.

So basically you are saying, making the switch to CNG is substituting Engine Performance (Speed and touring) for gas efficiency ..

I thought what made drivers rush to indrive then was you can input your own price to counter the customers, how is it to the detriment of drivers now..
