There is nothing wrong with criticism as long as its not malicious. Flexisaf goofed and every sane individual should see that. In fact, they owe the affected test takers an apology! When did you see people complain about Dragnet or Worforce like this?

Forget about invigilation and imprudent test takers who leaked questions, what do you say about having 10 out 50 questions not displaying and nothing was done to correct that, and diagrams not displaying or your course being swapped with another's?

So, on the technical side on which you claim they agreed with PTDF, they simply didn't cut the mustard. What's your next excuse?

Truth is flexisafsupport didn't conduct a fantastic exam but no they didn't rob you guys. For all I care you guys robbed yourself.

From what we've been made to understand,
1. flexisafsupport didn't put together the questions. So if you feel the questions for your course was lopsided ya'll need to take out that frustration somewhere else because they had one job which was to publish the questions on their CBT Platform.

2. Some of you all were dumb enough to save questions for your friends, some even came on Nairaland to post questions. Well you can't blame flexisafsupport for that either. It's basically your fault, although I admit they could have one way or the other curbed the nonsense, but then that was is the only thing they could have done, Curb it as they couldn't have possibly completely eliminated it.

3. It wasn't flexisafsupport call to give out different questions to people that wrote at 11am. Refer to one.

The test wasn't the best in form of organization and all, but it wasn't the worst. Spare flexisafsupport some slack and take out your frustration elsewhere.

It looks as if you are a major stake holder in Flexisaf and you are scared the business would come crumbling because of so many outburst here on nairaland.. if I may ask how true is your source for point number one? did you even take time out to play this scenerio out in your head. if I must share my view which I most certainly will, From the look of things it wasn't PTDF that set those questions...

Point Number 1....considering the amount of time taken before a date was fixed, it was most certain that even PTDF wasn't sure if the scholarship would hold or not, but in the event that it did and everything was rushed, I think PTDF wouldn't have just set a batch of questions for everybody, considering they have been setting different questions yearly, where no two candidates answered the same questions, it is obvious they would have a bank of questions that repetition would hardly ever occurred between candidates let alone batches. besides PTDF would not send incomplete questions with no images to flexisaf without flexisaf spoting it since they claim to be technical...so my dear its their fault end of story.

Point Number 2......Yes some very inept people took it upon their selves to spread the gospel of English questions and other questions mostly around, however Flexisaf wasn't grounded well enough in the rules and regulations they set for the test...Kindly refer to your invite mail....truth be told I was concerned when we were asked to come with writing materials to a CBT but just assumed there were courses that needed calculations. Also Flexisaf didn't do anything about the telephones that were allowed into the hall, Plus the generation of pins after shortlisting candidates, at the exam center is appalling...... that is their fault end of story.

Point number 3..........that has been sorted out..Refer to One

Stop soliciting for peace on behalf of flexisaf, Oga they are not entirely free of blames.

FlexiSAF Sends at least 2 of its staffs to each center to coordinate the technical issues of the venue. Other members involved in screening and other activities are mostly members of the PTDF. We would definitely ensure that the result of the exam is as transparent as humanly possible.

OK then, If this is true, how come images were not uploaded on some questions. I couldn't answer like 8 questions because of this....how do you intend to rectify this, because it puts some candidate at a disadvantage to others

What I saw In Abj yesterdy was discouraging and terrible. How could everyone write same set of questions in a batch exam?
I saw a lady with Complete List of every word they ask in that exam, studying them before she entered.

I sincerely feel like this exam should be repeated, maybe on just our intending courses, with No two candidates writing the same questions, with a better consultant not Flexisaf....sincerely that's the only way to get those that Merits the scholarship... Many might not agree with writing the test again, but from where I stand i'll prefer this one is cancelled and a proper one conducted.

we all come here to complain as if we are saints, i bet most of you guys complaining would have fall a victim if you wrote with the later batches..... i wrote at Chamscity Abuja and the irregularities was an ad infinitum...... in-fact if flexisaf should punish any among the test takers, it should be the batch A (8.00M), because they started it all.. while i was in the queue, those guys came out with loads of copied words, in-fact they'll even give it to you even if you don't ask for it. the worst of all was that the security agents were all there watching without even making an attempt to curtail the menace.... and to my surprise, some guys are so naive by sharing the questions among those from there states ........... despite how tough the exam was, people still have the time to copy out those words when one can actually utilize that time to meditate well.....

oga wehdone sir, its not by batch 8:00am, why did Flexisaf generate the same questions for everybody? Where is it done?

I have been preparing for this test since December 2015, i work 8-5 everyday and read 3-5am every morning, I feel terrible hearing that people who weren't shortlisted or even applied had the chance of writing it, I feel even worse knowing that people who wrote after the 8am batch might have seen or heard some questions, hence an added advantage to them...but nonetheless it is not by our power, neither is it by our might but by the spirit of the lord. Just like the case of Esther he will turn the heart of the king in favor of he's children that really deserve this scholarship, Amen. #mycaseisdifferent2017

Control system and applied instrumentation is Electrical Engineering.

Let me give my piece of advice
The company handling the exam has no business setting the questions. PTDF invites lecturers from those departments to set questions for them. they seat on those questions and select the best. They compile dem and send it over to the company like two weeks before the exam. the only business flexisaf has is to input those questions into their program, manage the exam process, Gather the results and hand it back to PTDF. I will take for instance some years ago Cinfores handled both Total and PTDF undergraduate scholarship. While PTDFexam based on level Total exam was based on GMAT.

My piece of advice, PTDF may use the pattern for last year. Get grounded on ur area of study and English.
Don't ask me how I got my Info because I won't say. but the day u start having rapport with lecturers from IPS and petroleum departments u will understand

for those asking of past questions I dont think u know the type of professionals that sit over those questions

English is really important , although it seems like a bonus/giveaway part of the exam, even the simplest of questions might not seem so simple, its good to brush up that area also.

You are absolutely right, sooo many tips to guide you and set you on a good path, still sombody will wake up by 2:30am and say please send me past questions, I'm not saying this to make anyone feel bad but instead to see that all the answers we need are buried right around us, a statement made that initially looked "irrelevant" if we pay close attention, we would find that it is not and probably have a good tip or even fact to add to the knowledge we already have.

I'm surprised at the way people keep asking for past questions....its not a bad thing...but past questions will only help you gauge how well you have read, you can't learn from it...it won't do more than that..... Its easy to source for good materials online, I mean over a thousand files for free, that should cover more than the contents of 60 past questions....if you actually sourced for materials in your underground research project yourself then this shouldn't pose a problem.....for those of us who think past questions might be repeated or who haven't noticed yet, there was Chams city, Cinefores and now Flexisaf.....I doubt if any repititions of all this past questions would occur....... They know you have them already!
