Travel / Re: Why You Should Not Come To Canada - Lady Tells African Men (pic/video) by denitro(m): 11:50am On Nov 27, 2023
nairalanda1:
Have watched the video, and the woman is making a lot of sense

I am going to tell the story of a guy my dad was acquainted with. Back in the 1990's this guy was a high ranking civil servant in Nigeria, in charge of a technical department, with responsiblity for urban planning. The guy played the DV lottery, and won and moved to America in 1994. Two years later he was working as a dishwasher. Someone wey dey hold high office, na dishwasher.

The truth is, the best way to japa to Canada is if you have skills that are needed in Canada. That means (unless you are into IT, or medicine, especially nursing), you go as a student, graduate with high schores, and high skills, and get a job there. Simple. Other routes are risky

That is what the woman is saying. Simple.

Unless you want to go there and start from scratch, that is the way. Canada is a insular country.
Your story has k-leg. If he won the visa lottery, you get a green card which opens the US to you, all the opportunities in
the US is yours. It shows how backwards nigeria is, if someone who has a green card and thinks the only work he
can do in the US is a dishwasher, then you will understand why majority of the civil servants in nigeria are lazy,
greedy.
US, canada is different, you are exposed to opportunities in those countries, you have to prepare yourself
educationals or skill wise in order to reach your full potential there.
Nigeria can never be compared with canada.

It's not about it being local or little. The Bread was gotten from Market Square super market. I just find it awkward giving bread to your son-in-law to be on the first meeting.

Gifts are symbolic you know.

And you are still arguing, instead of you to humble yourself and take correction.
It was very rude to reject such a gift.

Romance / Re: Lady In Shambles, After Man Leaves Her With 70k Bill At A Restaurant (pics) by denitro(m): 9:41am On Nov 11, 2023
This is an open and shut case.
Look for a lawyer that will take up your case, and sue the guy for at least 300k ( could be more).
Get the lawyer to serve him.
He will think it's a joke and probably won't show up for the court date, that is all you need to get a
default judgement against him. Then use the judgement letter to execute your payment from him using legal means.
Somewhere during the process he will plead with you to settle the matter out of court. Get your 70k back and get him
to pay your lawyer fees.
N.B: But please next time don't let someone waste 30k on Uber for nothing.
Grounds for you to win:
He invited you to the restaurant and he has admitted on chat that he did it intentionally.

Part 2:
After he pays you, he can now countersue you for invasion of privacy. (yes! it is illegal to share your chat messages
with someone without their permission).
He can now sue you for 300k and use the same lawyer you used.
You can settle out of court and pay him back the 70k and negotiate the lawyer fees.

Politics / Re: Naira Crash Adds Trillions Of Debt To All The 36 States by denitro(m): 6:53pm On Sep 27, 2023
Burob:

It is the Federal Government’s responsibility to source foreign exchange for you lazy People, your own is just to sit & whine on the wall like Humpty Dumpty?

Can you mention how much forex yourself or state governments have generated in helping the Naira fight the greenback?

The only way to generate forex is to leave nigeria and work abroad and then send back forex to family and friends,
any other means of generating forex will fail..
You know why!
Because you need an enabling environment to be able to grow ideas, build factories and then export those products
out. Nigeria doesn't have the enabling environment because the government has refused to solve the basic of things like power,
road, security.
Ask yourself, if you live in north and you have this wonderful idea creating groundnut paste for export
for export.
Let's do the SWOT analysis:
Strengths: location, high quality groundnut, access to suppliers at low cost.
Weaknesses: inadequate power, flooding, lack of skilled workers, low income and inflation, bad road
Opportunities: Nigeria's huge population

Threats: Boko Haram, Bandits, kidnappers, government touts extortion, corrupt custom agent, rising dollar or lack of accessible forex
insecurity (your factory can be burnt at a moments notice), dishonesty, high tax, high cost of running diesel 24 hours etc

ElSudani:
Absolute nonsense. If you have a US passport to a visa free country why would you present a Nigerian passport with it?

These Obidients and their childish lies.

Did you read the post at all?
He is a US permanent residence holder not a US citizen, there's a big difference.
Since he doesn't have a US passport he is still required to continue using his current passport until he gets a US passport.
So if he needs to travel he will use his nigerian passport and then add the evidence of his US permanent residence status.

A US first class student will fail in the nigerian university,
The nigerian educational system is vomit as compared to most foreign universities.
Students cram themselves in lecture halls here listening to a lecturer who will be talking to themselves,
lecturers delight in failing students, the system is designed to be stressful.
A 3rd class student here will excel in the US, UK etc becos he has been built to operate under stress and once he finds himself
in a stress free environment, he will excel.
But a foreign student who has been built to operate in a stress free environment will fail woefully in the Nigerian stressful
education environment. It doesn't mean that the foreign student is bad, it is the environment that will make the
student to fail.

Foreign educational environment will make even the dullest student better while the Nigerian educational environment
can make the brightest student dumb.

Gorilla

I doubt it, the gorilla has skin covering just like us. It's weakness will be that any sharp claw
will rip it's skin open easily. That why even a small leopard can kill gorillas easily.

Anaconda weakness is it's head and the lion and bear knows that. It will be the first to die.

Since it is a cage, the bear will come out alive. The tight compartment will be a disadvantage for the lion.

The FG should do well to also stop Nigeria from supplying Ghana and other countries electricity. Of course I don't expect the drug lord to do this because he is a fool. The werey is desperately trying to buy his way and win the heart of Nigerians but he has failed already. Obi will rearrange this country when he comes onboard. I'll urge the election tribunal to hurry up and do the needful ASAP.

Nigeria supplies Ghana gas which Ghana then uses to produce their own electricity.
Nigeria doesn't supply Ghana electricity and can't supply Ghana electricity

sad Even though I'm a born again Christian, I hope igbos don't get pim from Tinubu. Marginalize them like they've never seen before. Let them suffer for their bad politics of bitterness. Marginalize the south east from Top to Bottom so they can be tolerant in future elections sad
What you just typed shows that you are not a born-again Christian, you might claim it with your lips but your heart is very far away from
Christ. How can a born-again Christian say what you have just said?
Where are all your attributes of patience, forgiveness, long-suffering, turning the other cheek, humility, etc?
Love your neighbor and despite people's actions, love them never the less.
Politics of marginalization and hate are the devil's tools to cause more division among us all, and many people
don't see it.
In most advanced countries after the election unite together and the new leader treats every region equally,
that was the mistake Buhari made and he is apologizing for now.
Nigerians are Nigerians, despite who they voted for. And the president is president for all Nigerians despite
their political orientation.

Stop wasting your time.. No court will declare someone in distant third position winner when the person that took first and got required constitutional spread is there... What is so special about the FCT if I may ask? Are the residents in the FCT more Nigerian than those in Kwara, Osun and likes? Answer is capital NO.

In a 100m race for example.. have you ever seen the athlete that took third declared winner over the ones in first and second position? Never!
Such illegality will never happen in Nigeria. Asiwaju Tinubu is president-elect whether you like it or not.

You are very funny.
Let me refresh your memory

If someone who came 4th is now the governor, what is so special about making someone 3rd President.
Your APC court has done it before so it is very possible

Politics / Re: 'The Matter Is In Court': INEC Faults Premium Times Report On Obi Winning Rivers by denitro(m): 8:36am On Apr 18, 2023

If you like even dash Obi all the votes cast in Rivers, dash him all the votes cast in Lagos, and dash him all the votes cast in Plateau, while scoring Tinubu zero votes in those 3 states.

Guess what?

Obi would still be a loser stuck on 15 states and FCT, while Tinubu would still be a winner with highest votes and 27 states where he scored 25% or more.

Not sure you did well in Maths.
If the report is true, then Tinubu's 25% in like 8 other states are questionable.
subtract those 8 states and then see the cookie crumble for APC
