Following Coach Stephen Keshi’s outcry to the Nigeria
Football Federation for the nonpayment of his 7-month old
salary, Chairman of the NFF Finance Committee Hon. Shehu
Adamu has assured that an understanding has been reached
with the gaffer to settle his outstanding salary. NFF through
Adamu revealed to Brila Fm, the issue between the Glass-
house and Keshi has been resolved on how to pay his
outstanding.
“We have had a very good understanding with Keshi and very
soon everything will be a thing of the past but we really want
to appreciate his concern and as good Nigerian, we are going
to make sure that everything is resolved”
In a media outburst, Keshi pleaded with the Glass-house to
pay him up, indicating that he has been owed 7 months salary
worth a total of 35 Million Naira. The glass-house in defense
cited poor financial situations for not being able to carry out
its contractual obligations.
