Decking Carpentry Works still ongoing.

We bought about 6 Planks already for this decking.

About 140Pcs of 16mm, 480pcs of 12mm and 130 Pcs of 10mm and 5 Roles of binding Wire.

Bamboo is about 1500 Per one and we have about 400 Pcs.

Estimated granite for the work is 60T and 50 - 60T Sharp sand.

Estimated number of Cement is about 260 - 290 Bags.


To do decking is no joke. If you must do it well and get it right. This is the equivalent of what we are going to use here. If some are to remain, it will be a little here and there.

Decking carpentry works is now going to be on full gear from today. Stay tuned.

Final leveling of the main building 90% Completed. Everything would be rounded up tomorrow morning. Meanwhile, decking is carpentry works have commenced from the back.

What measures are you going to put in place to prevent under-deck POP ceiling collapse as we have been reading in the news lately?

Good question. Most importantly, using good amount of materials is the key and very important aspect of every stage of work. It is only when materials are under utilized that such cases can occur. Else, nothing of such will happen. I have been doing alot of projects with POP and haven't had any single issue. Even POPs that have Ceiling speakers on them.

Secondly when a client or contractor for example, decides to DYI and end of managing materials. You get such results.

Hence, adequate use of materials is key when it comes to building construction and finishes. When you underused materials. You end up spending twice correcting what ought to have been done well from the beginning.

After all is the same amount of time it takes to do a bad work that is used also to do a good work.

The building has been powered...

Final leveling commenced already from the back of the building.

We are now doing a Total of 14 coaches excluding the decking beam which will make it 15 coaches before the decking slab.

This is our standard. And it gives us a very nice headroom for POP finishing when the time comes.

is your iron lapping length from DPC not too short?

No sir. Not at all
I maintain a minum of 600 - 1200mm for colum lapping at all projects as you can see the one the attached picture is still this same project.
