Go to festac passport office, your passport will be ready after 3 weeks of capturing. They wont call you for collection oh, but go there after 3 to 4 weeks with your slip, you will get your passport. Good luck

What's the age on his NIN? If same age, he needs to correct that first before the passport corrections because they must match.

Hello all, will someone outside Nigeria need to come to Nigeria to correct a date of birth error on international passport. The person has bn using the passport despite the 3 age difference on it but it's limiting the person especially when it comes to presenting certificates.

I have successfully collected my passport without any hiccups. I did my capturing on 19th September at the Benin City office. Since then, I have been tracking it online, and last week I saw that it was ready for collection. I wasted no time and traveled to Benin today to collect it, to avoid any potential issues.

Go to National Population Commission(NPC) website https://attestation.nationalpopulation.gov.ng/welcome using your NIN to get attestation letter. It's just 3k for paid via paystack. You get it within 10mins using your NIN. Without NIN, it's very difficult. This is a sample and I believe it can suffice. Please note that this attestation letter is only for those born before the birth registration enactment of 1992. It's a birth certificate for those born after the act of 1992, still on the site. If you go to https://immigration.gov.ng/learn-more/, change due to marriage does not incur 30k, and it changes due to an error that attracts 30k.
From what I know, I filled out the form well, and it highlighted the surname, which was the area for change because NIN carried the changes.
The app form clearly stated. Applying For -- Re-issue - Standard Passport and not renewal because her passport doesn't expire until 4 years' time because she just did renewal last year. To cut the long story short she paid the 14k, did capturing and was told to come collect her passport in 2weeks time. It was becoz she requested they allow her capture now because she needed the passport urgently instead of coming back d regular two weeks for capturing, which they agreed (but was told wasn't the procedure), and they showed her on the system that the new name is yet to reflect on their system and that it needs Abuja clearance (Which I doubt). she was told the files are going to Abuja that another department handles it (she had to submit hard copies of documents again besides the one uploaded and my own passport data page).
When she came back home and narrated the story, I went on Twitter and saw ppl commenting under their page that they were stuck because they didn't pay.

If the passport is a new one, she doesn't need any change of data (COD) wahala but if renewal, oga you were supposed to pay 130k instead of 100k. 30k for COD, 100k for passport. The same process i just concluded and have collected my passport. Vetting/approval was a serious issue. You were supposed to click COD box at the point of registering and not passport renewal. If this is the case, you might have to start all over again by dashing govt the 100k just like Mr Tony or contact the servicom office for further consultation.

I did everything online while the agent we enquired about was asking for 165k for 10 years.

Now, my wife has gone to the Immigration office, and they said she can't do capturing and

I finally collected my passport and my children passport today from the festac passport office. My children captured first week of September and their passport was ready first week of October but we didn't know because it wasn't updated on the tracker and we were not called. I captured first week of October because I did change of data and my form wasn't vetted on time. They called me today that my passport is ready for collection, I was surprised because my children captured before me. I went there with my children slip complaining to them, then I was told the passports were out over a month ago. All the processes were do it yourself (DIY) didn't pay anybody from start to finish.

There are samples of all the documents you need to submit with i-140 form on the telegram group. I have other samples too I got from other platforms. If interested, you can dm. I am still gathering my documents. Shalom

That's the same issue I am having now, though my children captured in September 1st week, still not ready just because is DIY. They just want to discourage DIY by all means

I sincerely need your assistance to clarify this issue: I made my payment to WES on the 27th of September, and LASU sent my transcript on the 4th of October. However, as of the 8th of October, my WES dashboard still showed the status as "Awaiting transcript." I emailed WES to inform them that my school had sent the transcript, and on the 9th of October, I checked again. The status had changed to "On hold."

I mailed again relied In their response, WES confirmed that all documents required for my evaluation had been received. I also uploaded my M.Sc. certificate on the 26th of September and re-uploaded it on the 17th of October 2024.

Please kindly assist me, as I am confused about the status of my evaluation.

You need a diploma/certificate to get points for 2 or more certificates, you can check the 1st page of the thread for some (short-duration) certificates you can do like BCS/CIMA/PGD etc And if possible, you should rewrite and max out your IELTS... Achieving both will push your CRS up then you have better chances of getting ITA with STEM.

Once they know it's DIY they would treat you really bad that's what happened to me,because mine was not approved even servicom there refuse to answer me they just said I should dropped my paper I had to send a mail to immigration before 2hrs it was approved they were ashamed wen I came back that it's approved...Crazy Set of people there
