He is flanked by President General South-East CAmalgamated Traders Association (SEMATA), Chief Okwudili Ezenwankwo and Hon Commissioner for Information, Dr. Imelda Nwogu at the commissioning of the borehole at Agbiligba Nanka, Orumba North LGA.

I see a lot of hypocrites in this thread running their mouth when in fact their own useless village governor is running all over the state with delegation, entourage and aso ebi to commission common village borehole.

Imagine a whole governor collecting allocations, IGR and even debts commissioning borehole that's even below official duties of common local government chairman.

Sadly, these hate mongers face their own wretched states and useless borehole governors..

Nigerian youths are just so useless, ignorant, illogical and unintelligent. So, some blogger made up a story with a picture of some people and an electric pole and all of a sudden, they are commissioning ordinary electric pole.

Have any of you low-grade thinkers seen the original story per the exact occasion? What was exactly commissioned or even the reason why they took pictures standing next to the electric pole?

You illogical thinking people actually think the whole town, the emir and the federal senator gathered just to commission an ordinary pole with no meaning or any significance like kicking off a project like electrification project.

I know many Nigerian bloggers are click bait crooks and deceptive elements, but the clickers, online low-grade thinkers and enablers are even worse.

And they call many of these low IQ people leaders of tomorrow. SMH.

Curb your urge to rape women just because of what they wear. Be a real man and not a weak and petty coward thinking about rape because you can not control yourself.

Mind your own business and stop thinking about rape because of what other people wear.

The way women dress and rape shouldn't be linked in anyway, unless you are so weak as a man that what women wear triggers your evil urge to rape and commit a felony crime.

What women or any human being wear or feel comfortable enough to wear is their business, not yours and it should mean they want you to rape them.

The way people dress shouldn't have to make sense to you because other people don't dress or wear clothes to satisfy you or trigger your urge to rape.

Mind your own damn business and stop behaving like a jobless market woman.

You know because apart from knowing the kid's religious status as a Christian, you even went to the school to ascertain that kids are being forced to learn both CRS and IRS? Or you just know so much because you are the kid's parent?

I'm trying so hard not to call you a lair, but you keep sounding like a liar and bogus storyteller.

Religion is the root of all evil and you do sound like a purveyor of religious evil, deception, and incitement.

Btw, because of your shallow focus on religious bigotry and amebo, you didn't see or scrutinize the document you posted with Number 5 CRS question about Israelites, meaning they also asked 5 CRS questions.

The CRS questions about the Israelites were not answered, but the IRS was answered, meaning the kids were offered choices and the kid in question picked and answered IRS and not the CRS questions on the same paper.

I think you are just mad because the kid answered IRS questions as a Muslim against what you want us to believe.

There are more millionaires in anambra state than any other states aside Lagos. All the viable markets in Nigeria have their strongest stakeholders from Anambra. Anambra is generally developed only second to Lagos.

Are you implying that the students offer the two subjects. Are they not contradictory?
The students did not and are not offering anything, the school as part of the school curriculum stated 2 choices for students to pick from, I was offered both too and it's up to the students of parent to pick one and last I checked, no school in Nigeria is forcing school children to pick IRS or CRS.

The fact that they have both subjects doesn't mean they are forcing school children to learn both.

Besides, this is for the parents to worry about, not you or NL.

I see both IRS and CRS subjects, so are they trying to Christianize Nigeria too with CRS as part of the school curriculum?

The fact that a school kid was given IRS assignment = What? Are you the parent or you have any proof to show us per what the kid's parents consented to for their kids to learn?

Amebo, mind your own business.

That is not true. And if he's getting little allocations, then he should be creative and find ways to diversify to boost his state's economy and generate better IGR, but is he doing any of that? No, he spends more time crying over PMB and silly issues in other state's and places instead of his own state and economy. What about investment and economic summit? No.

all you chaps supporting nonsense are doing so at the expense of your thinking faculties. people are asking where the money went to, you are ranting about 2016 funded projects, same projects the Fashola could not even defend.

Your point is well understood and valid, but we are aware anyone can use the excuse of ignorance to lie. That is what smart people do in order not to be sanctioned or called out.

He alluded his gross incompetency to when budgets were passed and the senators brought him to light that some funds were carried over to 2017.

In other words, Fashola had no valid excuse under the sun for his zero capital implementation which means he was dishonest.

Hopefully, he will do better in his next appearance with the senators.
Please, show us where that was asserted and the ministers answer. I think you are making up your own stories or you read a different article and not the one we are discussing here.

Keballl:
As citizens we do fact checks whether the print media do their jobs or not. We take the discourse beyond what is presented by asking probing questions for more clarity.

The article alludes to one thing. Fashola was unprepared for the job he was assigned to do. I only blame him for overestimating his capacity to manage 3 super ministries.

How can a minister not be aware that capital projects under his portfolio in 2016 were carried over to 2017 and same thing will happen in 2018, with a carry over of 2017 projects based on what Kemi Adeosun proposed last year November.

There should be a synergy between the finance ministry and other MDAs.
That was a flawed assertion, it is not the minister's job to use magical powers to know, anticipate and prepare for every potential question. If the reps were so interested in particular question and answer , they should have sent questions to the ministry in advance form the minister to study and compile proper answers for.

The minister did the right thing when he offered to look into the issue and furnish them with answers later on, this is how proceedings goes even in America where you copied democracy from.

Btw, the question was the list of the roll over projects from 2016, so why not send advance question to the ministry for answers, there are hundreds, if not thousands of projects in different phases of completion, so they expect the minister to rattled this list for them from the top of his head randomly?

No, they were not prepared to do their own job, not the minister.

so no capital project was executed or paid for in 2017?

even existing capital projects were not paid for?

& if he couldn't utilise the funds, has it been returned to FG coffers?

these are issues of accountability. even the supposed rolled over allocations, he couldn't provide answers & you are here defending incompetence...

late budgets or not, the simple question is, if zero performance was recorded for works, then where is the N90b released for capital projects?

& if the N90b has been spent, how & where?

you are providing excuses now, tomorrow you will say you want government to be more accountable to the people...
[/s]

1. No new capital projects started in 2017 based on the reasons the minister sited.

2. Ongoing capital projects have already been paid for, so there's no reason to turn around and pay all over again in. Or do you actually think the FG pay contractors for the same work done every year because the projects are ongoing into the next year?

19.02.2017

Babatunde Fashola, the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, has said scarcity of fund is not the major challenge to the completion of ongoing Federal Government’s road projects.
Fashola spoke to reporters on Saturday in Port Harcourt after an inspection tour of ongoing road projects in the South-South zone.

“There is no problem of paucity of fund on this road again; this road is now a function of man hours.

“If you have all the money needed to construct this road, you would not finish it today.

“So let us understand that these roads are built long and wide, and so will take years to be completed because roads are connecting several states.

“As we are building, it will get better but funding is not going to be a problem on this road again because we make sure that the contractor are paid,” he said.

http://www.pulse.ng/news/local/fashola-scarcity-of-funds-not-major-challenge-to-projects-completion-minister-id6246725.html
3. That was back in feb 2017, meaning the project was paid for already before 2017 so why pay again in 2017

4. They don't have to pay for any project in 2017 because they've been paid for with 2016 budget and nothing was started in 2017 because the budget was approved almost at the end of 2017.

Your reason and process facts like a 2-year-old and you are trying too hard to prove that you are really a 2-year-old kid.
