The only reason for any emergence of coup in Nigeria is if the spreading bandit insurgency in the country is not quickly curtailed. Outside that, it will be difficult for any military take over to succeed. |
dederocs:You are getting it wrong. The long tenure of any military government in power only means that, the people, who had no say when the military take over was executed, are fearful of the unconstitutional martial rule under which they now exist. That means they are being forcefully ruled by the order of guns which condone no opposition. |
AqualinaXYZ:No, we only used Bayelsa and Delta oil money, and being good neighbours, they are not complaining. River no get that of kind money then. |
Defective upfront passes by Chelsea players so far, thereby losing goal opportunities. |
anonimi:Google is your friend, or are you fighting it also. #Stockholm Syndrome ![]() |
anonimi:You and your Stockholm Syndrome in every comment. When will you be tired of the cliche? Find another one, the creator of the cliche has already developed PTSD because of your constant use of it. Spare him. |
geoworldedu:I pity your wife. You have succeeded in making her a child of hell by wrongly convincing her on the non existence of heaven and hell for good and bad people. And worse, you are gloating about the d£vilish outcome. Well, you will soon come to the full realisation of your errors. I hope it will not be too late. |
nairalanda1:Like a monster that won't let go of its victims, Mr. Tax on the beat again. And just like the inglorious French Louis XIV era, he is berating the abject poor-man for not dipping his hands in his almost empty pockets and give his last coins to the greedy filthy rich rulers of the kingdom, to enable them to continue living their voluptuous lifestyle. No pity for the wretched of the earth, none at all. |
Galadimabawa:Even if you are APC supporter, your one vote is meaningless to them. |
Obapluto:You apply for army, dem say dey no go take you? No be una people dey run from the army and war. |
OredoPikin2:You forgot to mention that an Auchi or Esan man will say he is not of Edo origin, and then demand separation from Edo State. Just helping you. |
jmichael259:Your argument do not match Atiku's big ego. You too know it. |
A former VP, to become a newbie presido's candidate VP again. The audacity of the obidients is beyond compare. |
To be successful, you must be flexible with everything, except God’s natural laws. You are not a tree. You have the ability to adjust to situations. Make peace with your enemies wherever and whenever possible. That you quarrelled yesterday doesn't mean you must row for the rest of your days. If you have to drive a jalopy and wear the same clothes while waiting for profit or take a loss to be the boss, then so be it. Close your mind to what people will say. People will always talk, and if you listen, you, too, will always baulk. Only what God says matters! #RenosNuggets |
Guninerma231:They should leave Calafiori there to chop red card so that we can be even. |
Arsenal defence is solid. Chelsea yet to make a major breach of it. |
Matt Arnold and Reno Omokri, both are shameless media thugs for hire. Arnold is Atiku's camp attack dog, while Reno is Tinubu's camp bull dog. Both are paid rabble rousers. |
Babatundehy:Why didn't the lady feed the baby akamu (local pap)? That's what many of us were fed with when we were baby, and we did not die. The baby will not die if it is fed with it. If the baby has goat milk guzzling affection, the baby should have choosed a goat-herd family to be born into. |
If it is true, who will give them new job, abi na IPOB go dey feed them and their families in this harsh Tinubu time? Pure lies. |
MaziObinnaokija:DAUDA keh? Where did you see that one? Old man, you are of another generation, the world has since moved beyond you. |
Angelfrost:When did you become obidients' co-traveller, I am surprised. You had better stick to your football analyst career on Nairaland where you are better respected, than stick your nose in the dirty political and tribal mud-slinging of this platform and attract hat£. |
Irony1:Na lie you dey talk. |
But he should retain the from Badagry to Sokoto? This is northern hypocrisy at its height. |
Irony1:Yet non-indigenous Yorubas are leaders in the state, and the indigenes are contented with it, because we are one. So, you who is not of Yoruba lineage, why is this becoming your headache? |
DMerciful:The people that owns Lagos are the ones ruling in Lagos, both traditional and political. Any other claim to ownership of Lagos is null and void. |
LuQuLuQu:Google is your friend. This is a new world, take advantage of all it provides, and stop being negative always. |
OnyeObowo1:_*▪️THE PARABLE OF THE CRACKED WALL.*_ In the city of Niraya, a single great wall stood around the people. It was old but strong, and for generations it protected them from storms, raiders, and wild beasts. One Morning, a small crack appeared. The City Elders warned: “If this crack widens, the wall will fall. And if the wall falls, it will fall on all of us without choosing sides.” Instead of joining hands to repair it, the people became divided in surprising ways. _1. The Rejoicers._ Those who opposed the city leaders celebrated the crack. “This is good,” they said. Let it widen. When it collapses, the leaders will be shamed, and we will have our turn.” They forgot that collapsing stones do not ask who voted for whom. _2. The Rejecters._ Another faction said: “Nothing must work under this leadership. If we help repair the wall, we are helping them. Let it break.” Their anger made them prefer destruction over cooperation. _3. The Misunderstanding Crowd._ Engineers came with tools to fix the crack. But some citizens shouted: “You want to make life harder!” “You are the cause of our suffering!” “You shake the wall because you hate the people!” They did not understand that repairs require noise, dust, disruption, and temporary hardship. _4. The Agitators._ The Whisperers of Chaos moved through the market, whispering: “Look at the hardship. Look at your hunger. Rise up. Bring down the Council. The crack proves they have failed.Tear the wall down yourselves!” They used frustration to bait insurrection. _5. The Loyalists Who Saw Nothing._ There were also people whodid not see the crack at all. Why?, Because their kin, their allies, or their preferred group was in leadership. “To us, nothing is wrong, - they said. The wall looks perfect because those we like are guarding it.” Their loyalty blinded them to the danger before everyone’s eyes. _6. The Decorators._ Some did see the crack but decided it was harmless, but even beautiful. “Ah, the wall now has character,” they said. It is not a threat; it is a natural design. Why worry?” They mistook danger for decoration. _7. The External Enemy._ Outside the city, Niraya’s long-time enemies watched and laughed. “They are too divided to fix the crack,” they said. “They quarrel more than they think. They will destroy their own protection for us.” All they had to do was wait. _8. The Silenced Voice._ A wise woman named _*Naya*_ climbed a stone and cried: “The crack is the true enemy! Not the leaders, not the engineers, not your neighbour, not your rival faction. If the wall collapses, it will not care about your politics, Loyalty, or anger. It will crush us ALL.” But instead of listening, the people shouted back: “You support them!” “You are blind!” “You are part of the problem, "You want to silence our pain!” Anyone who suggested another perspective was attacked and rejected. Everyone saw a different enemy - except the real on THE FALL OF THE WALL One night, the crack grew into a gap, the gap widened into a split, and the split turned into a ROAR. The wall collapsed._ Wolves poured in. Fire swept through streets. Chaos filled the markets. Homes crumbled. Food disappeared. The city fell into darkness. Those who rejoiced suffered. Those who rejected cooperation suffered. Those who misunderstood suffered. Those who agitated suffered. Those who saw nothing suffered. Those who praised the crack suffered. The innocent suffered most of all. Because when a wall falls, it does not choose sides. 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬 Nigeria needs our collective support NOW, than ever before, inrespective of Religeon or Tribe. 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬 |

givedemwotowoto:Wailers seems to have watched too many American detective movies to confuse reality with fiction.... I have read so many delusional ones among them asking the Nigeria govt what happened to the kidnappers.... Why were their heds not brought with those they kidnapped.... I can excuse the wailers who are kids without proper home training.... What do we call the old men like Atiku among them.... As sophisticated as The US, with all it's advanced army and detectives... They failed in their Operation Eagle claw to rescue 52 hostages in Tehran... Leading to death of 8 of their officers... They failed in operation urgent fury when US forces attempted to rescue adopted American students in Grenada.... 3 of the students were killed in Cross fire.... With 19 American forces killed.. The American biggest hostage rescue failure was the Black Hawk Down to rescue hundreds of UN hostages in Somalia.... 18 US soldiers lost their lives... Over 70 were injured.. Over 1000 somalis many innocent civilians were killed... As powerful as Israel.... When Hamas took over 200 of their citizens hostages.... They tried to use force.... Killing over 85 of the captives, successfully freed 4..... And were forced to negotiate the freedom of the others in a swap deal.... The level of ignorance and delusional thinking of wailers make some of us wonder why God dump us to cohabit with millions of dum*bs... How were they expecting the Nigeria security agents to rescue this innocent kids with massive bloodshed... Sincerely.... It is better to born a thief than to born a mumu - Urhobo Proverb... Proverbs are not for kids..... Onovughe Igwe |
