Nevertheless, we know Ukraine have so far fought the Russians with inferior weapons in this Donbas battle. The West have been reluctant to arm Ukraine with similar weapons the Russians are using.
By the time Ukraine get long-range artillery et al, Russia will be chased out of the conquered territories.

Russia have suffered huge casualties all the same but have enough men and ammunition to replenish. Ukraine don't have such luxury.

The war is far from over. Only some battles have been lost.
