This man really goofed up. When is having church members now the same thing with winning souls. Alot of these G.Os are not preaching Christ to people again. All they are after is building empires for self gains and glory. If all they do is for God's glory, you won't narrow your understanding of winning of souls to gaining of church members. Winning of souls doesn't necessarily means they must attend the sacked pastors's churches. Having new members doesn't translate to winning souls for Christ. We have alot of church goers whose souls are still not won for Christ. |
Hmmmmmm...., getting interesting. |
After he corrected the antirabies prescription and failed to recommend the immunoglobulin drug. I received the day zero antirabies drug and went home. The fear of incomplete treatment and fear of death overwhelmed me so the following morning, I ran to Ikeja General hospital to present myself to more experienced doctors but when I got there,i got another shock. The nurse i met on duty said i should go and meet one of the training doctors there from the university i think so, and i explained my self to him. people call this guy professor by name.I think he must be very brilliant for calling him a professor. After my narration to this guy, he said everything i read on Google offhand correctly without checking any phone and this guy said I must take this immunoglobulin lattest the day 3 of my antirabies vaccine. I was so happy with what he said but by the time i returned to the nurse , she said one oga patapata has to give his final say on my issue. By the time they meet with the said Oga patapata doctor, that one said I don't need any Immunoglobulin even without seeing the level of cut in my leg.I was so devastated that day and i decided within me to look look for a pharmacy around Ikeja to buy the immunoglobulin vaccine. I bought it around 12k and went to the first general hospital to see if they would administer it for me but they declined. From there, i proceeded to like 5 private hospitals to see if I can see a doctor who will administer it for me but i saw none. I lost all hope in the 3rd day and threw the immunoglobulin vaccine i bought with N12;000 away. After that time, my only hope was on the observation of the dog which was found to be healthy after 10days .But I nearly died of fear of rabies before the 10 days. Well, the dog is still alive now. |
May God help us in this country with all these quack doctors in our various health institutions. I had a dog bite around 8months ago and the cut was a deep one on my leg by one street dog. Immediately after the incident happened, i quickly googled the risks associated with dog bite and I realized it is a serious health issues that calls for immediate medical attention. In my Google search, I got to know that I will be placed on antirabies drugs for a specified number of days with a laid day time interval and together with one immunoglobulin drug that will only be taken once. The following morning, i rushed to one general hospital in my area in Lagos to present my case to the doctor on duty. After i explained my situation to the doctor, he gave me wrong prescription of antirabies medication and he never recommended the immunoglobulin with it. I told him i read it somewhere that the antirabies drugs must be administered on day 0,3 7,14 and so on and he was shouting on me that he knows more than I do. In the course of our argument, some of his doctor colleagues attending to other patients beside us intervened and I saw one of them googling the issue with her phone and after they might have confirmed their fellow doctor was wrong, they call him to one corner and talk to him.By the time he returned, he wrote the normal prescription that I had earlier suggested. |
