And their currency is very stable.
Instead of Jakpa-ing to countries were they will work you like a slave regardless of your qualifications (USA,UK and Canada)
If you are a professional in these other Afro-carribean countries you will live a good life.
Good food, good weather (no snow), Respect and similar culture and most importantly beautiful feminine women. Who told you Nigerians in diaspora work like slaves? Or you mean illegals in those countries? Mouth encyclopedia |

cococandy: Following that common sense logic, he was stupid to say he could change things on day one then wasn’t he? Just as long as we are choosing when to be objective and when to abandon reason.
Because if I’m supporting a politician who says he will bring down the cost of things on day one, I would’ve questioned how exactly he plans to do it. With a magic wand?
If he got in and started writing executive orders on day one to bring down prices and prevent price gouging, I’d probably try to forgive him for the gaffe and wait for the effects of his orders to take place.
But no, his first executive orders have nothing to do with improving the cost of things. Instead he’s making people jobless and increasing the cost of living worse than it already is.
Maybe at best we can conclude he’s just talking as usual without any idea what he’s talking about. Birdflu has been on since last year. Almost one yr. Do the math, sweetie. He will import eggs into America to cushion the effect of 1 year bird flu or better import 2 months old millions of layers to balance the equation. Or he can subsidise it. Biden also said he will not pardon his son. He did the opposite. Was he just talking as usual? I always use Nigeria as reference point. Tomorrow,a new president during manifesto will tell us he will make Nigeria great. He enters office and saw what is bigger than him,he has to start somewhere. The most important. When you get the root, others will automatically adjust. There are alternatives to egg if they are costly, we have so many. If Biden is still in power after slaughtering millions of chicken and egg price soared, I bet none of you guys will say anything. Nobody will die in America if they don't eat egg. Besides, the money that will be used to import these eggs and layers is what they are saving. Win win for everybody. |

Voodoo economics just to spite Orange man. Is there actually bird flu? I checked it out, it has been ongoing since last April yet, someone is blaming trump for not doing anything. Almost one year. Everything is politics. Black man. We will learn the usual hard way. |

grandstar: This isn't the first time the US has suffered from bird flu, buy this is the first time prices have risen so high!
Eggs are extremely critical in the American pastry industry and others. It isn't something to be taken lightly.
What steps as Trump taken to bring prices down or help consumers? None.
Why not encourage the importation of eggs until US hen sticks recover? Think outside the box. He can't because he doesn't even think.
Look! There's no point arguing with you. You're a Trump supporter.
Nevertheless, have this at the back of your mind: Trump is a man like you. He is not God. He like you can make mistakes. Don't you make mistakes, make bas decisions? So does Trump.
The US will certainly enter into a downturn this year. The only thing that may prevent it are his tax cuts which would drive the budget deficit sky high, and seriously increase the budget deficit. Somebody that took office on January 20th. Barely a month Or you want to argue for argument sake. If Biden has money to send to Ukraine at the 11th hour, he should equally have money for the farmers he slaughtered their chicken at 11th hour too. |

cococandy: Again I didn’t say we should encourage illegal immigration. not sure the reason for that analogy.
I’m simply pointing out that your post about how much money they cost is a none reason. If they’re giving way money than they cost, then they are not costing money when the books are balanced. So remove the cost from the reason why you are mad about them because that’s a non reason.
Now if we want to talk about the possibility of an illegal immigrants being a runaway terrorist evading law from another country, then we could be on the same page. Just don’t say I said what I didn’t say. Then what is the argument about? I posted a screen shot of how much cal spend on illegals and you showed me breakdown of how much they contribute inamerican economy. I gave an example with nigeria, you typed you dont support illegal, reiterated again you dont support it when i gave another example. What again are we arguing about? Must we argue about it or just the normal argument of we versus them that goes on here? In uk, a riot broke out last year. Accumulation of how uk govt spend millions housing some refugees in fancy hotels. No country love to be overrun by these people even if they are the greatest contributer of their economy. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by descarado: 8:00pm On Feb 18, 2025 |
cococandy: I didn’t say countries should open their doors to illegal immigration. I’m personally against illegal immigration and I wouldn’t advise anyone to go that route.
But if you are stunned by the huge figure that is spent on them, I felt it was only proper for you to be aware of the huge figures they contribute as well.
For example they pay into social security that legal citizens retire on and they’ll never be eligible to collect. In fact our govt borrows money from that pot to fund projects when they claim the govt is too broke. So financially, they are a net positive.
I’m against illegal immigration for other reasons outside of whatever money they are supposedly costing us. In Nigeria, we have problem with fake drugs. Can we say because Nigerian customs make so much money from import duties and all the chains involved, we should encourage fake drug importation? It is a menace in our society irrespective of how much the fed make every year. |

Again, hypocrites who hold Trump to one standard, and the evil psychos that actually destroyed the country? Excuses.
Just sit down and research why DOGE started with USAID. The answers are online. Hint: when a president puts a freeze on foreign aid spending. No agency is allowed to circumvent that. Especially one that was merely created by an EO and can be summarily discontinued with the brush of his pen.

Obama even tell Nigerians to vote for new chapter while refused to sell weapons to Jonathan going to the extents of sending US Secretary of State to visit Bihari just before election. One may Wonder what is US benefiting from all these and why Africa can't have good leaders May grace be kind to you for not forgetting history. When I say I hate that man, this is the main reason. Some apc people that are now ruling us then donated to Clinton charity and that opened way for planning on how to " use your people to destroy you campaign" which the usa is very good at. Obama used Nigerians to destroy Nigeria. That same time chibok girls happened, there was push to make Nigeria a gay nation. As the heat was going on, him and Hollywood celebrities started carry bring back our girls placards. The rest became history. Here we are. They will enter through aid and gather Intel, look for how to subdue the people and make them slave in their homeland. Bokoharam came through arms from Libya when plotted and killed gaddafi. Was shocked when he confessed killing him was his greatest mistake. No Nigerian shoukd ever like that man. Nobody unless they hate being Nigerians. |
