It's a week and few days of darkness in Asaba. Except band A that can manage to get less than 5 hrs daily. My area is band B. We just got 4 hrs light after 72hrs.

In my office 🏬 Lekki phase1, light has been very bad, since last month, despite the fact that we are on Band A, we have been solely relying on generator from morning till night.

In my house at around Obalende, infact that one os worst, sometimes, I stay in the office late, so that once I enter house, just take my bath and sleep straight..

The most painful part is that, my inlaw who is from Oyo state are complaing bitterly that light might not even come for 2-3 month and when it does, it won't last more than 4hours and its gone..

We have a minister who is from Oyo state and can't even manage just a ministry and want to govern a whole state.

The light is really giving me a concern, mostly this festive period that alot of expenses is there, you will still be thinking of powering generator with high rate of fuel to welcome visitors..

My reason for creating this thread is to make people understand that it's m@@dness to cut off ties with people cos of political differences, even the political players are unpredictable.

Who could ever imagine one day that el rufai will b d outsider in APC n same orubebe will be an APC chieftain.

I just decided to bring this here so some kids who started following politics in 2023 can have a rethink n understand that obi won't come n help them when they need d help d most

But d neighbors they cut ties with, the family they don't talk to, the business partners they thrashed cos of political differences will b d one to come to their rescue.

N besides that I can't imagine how they will feel one day if they wake up n read the news that obi have moved to APC.

The beginning is always rough in every government. Besides that salary issue was left unsolved by the government he took over from. He had to settle in before releasing funds to pay. They were not just patient because some of them were angry that his policies will not allow them loot. In all, his positive impact was felt before he left. Anambra became a top 5 in education in the country. Don't forget he has strict financial management and it didn't go down well with those who wanted to loot, so they did everything within their power to cause instability in his government. When you ask Anambarians (the neutral ones who are not aligned with any political party), they will tell you he was the best governor Anambra ever had. I am not from Anambra, transfer took me there for a while and then it's neighboring state. So I have come in contact with a lot of them.
